My dad has been a resident of Kerria Court for just over 18 months. I visit regularly (usually three times a week). I therefore feel well placed to feedback. I could not be happier with my dad's care. He is incredibly settled at Kerria Court. The staff are wonderful - so caring and helpful. It seems
be a real vocation for them - they truly care about the residents (who are treated with respect and kindness), My dad loves the food - he eats better at Kerria than he has in decades. He has put on well over a stone since being there (which he needed to do as he was underweight when he arrived). He always looks smart; clean, shaved and his hair is kept neat and tidy. His clothes are always clean. When taking my dad to hospital appointments, NHS staff have commented to me on how well he is clearly looked after in his care home. He really enjoys the entertainment (singers etc) and the visits from the church. I feel very grateful for the peace Kerria have brought to both me and my dad.

I was so nervous having to place my uncle in a nursing home due to his declining mental health, Alzheimer's dementia. I was really concerned that he wouldn't be looked after properly. I have to give credit where it's due, the staff at Kerria Court were welcoming and understanding. I have witnessed
them treating my uncle with kindness, empathy and patience. I have been very impressed with the cleanliness and food condition of the building. Staff have not only welcomed my uncle but also us as a family. Also, communication between the home and us as a family has been excellent. I am so happy that I chose Kerria Court and it has put my mind at ease knowing my uncle is well looked after and safe.

The care that our Great Grandmother received was absolutely outstanding.
As she deteriorated in her mental capacity the love and care remained constant.
You can FEEL the warmth when you step in to Kerria Court
Every single member of staff has been friendly with us and all visitors whenever we
have been there.
I think there is a very playful vibe where the residents are encouraged to laugh and have as much fun as possible - we LOVE to see this !!!!
The Manager is the kindness lady I think I have ever known - she goes above and beyond her role, she ensures her staff are as committed as she is and it shows through the mutual respect her team have with her.
I have never known such an airy bright, in touch with nature, environment offering this kind of facility - it really is unique!
I will be using Kerria Court in future if an elderly relative needs this service - I wouldn't mind travelling - I can HIGHLY recommend.

A warm atmosphere. Staff are caring & attentive taking time to engage with residents. Immediately ready to chat regarding help & input.

My friend has mental health issues as well as early Alzhiemer's she can find situations confusing and does not find it easy to maintain personal hygiene. Staff are always attentive and patient with her. She likes to joke and has excellent relationships with the staff who listen to and act on her
concerns. She loves being in the home and is kept safe in a way she could not be within the community. A particular love for her is using the gardens and being able to go out attended. The home is easily accessed by bus and train. Staff ensure she is appropriately dressed and fed.

Since living at Kerria Court my dad has received the best care I could have ever wished for. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. They work so hard but always stay calm and keep their friendly demenor despite what kind of day they might be having. I truly appreciate the support they give me
too. Having a parent with dementia can be hard but they make it easier for both of us. Thank you!

My mother in law has been a resident for 3 years. From day 1 she has been shown respect and love. Her dementia that may have caused extra difficulties were not too much trouble for staff. They never walked passed her without holding her hand or similar actions. As a family, we always felt she was in
a safe friendly home and would not need for anything. Any health issues ere dealt with promptly and family informed. I thank Kerria for their care and dedication.

My Great grandmother has been in this care home for a few months now and she has settled in so so well. This says a lot about the compassion and care she receives from the staff as she struggled to settle in her last care home. Every single member of staff is lovely and I could not praise them more;
my nan used to ask when she can come home, now she says she doesn't want to come which is a testament to this home! I genuinely could not ask for a better group of people to care for her and I am so grateful she got put into this place!

Where do I begin, my partner is at Kerria Court, every week I go to Kerria Court, over the last five months, what a place and a pleasure to come to. I would like to thank all the staff, from the cleaners to management, they all give 100%. This has to be the best care home in Birmingham, this has got
to be the No. 1 for me. I would recommend it to anyone. Teamwork. Well done all.

I am the sole carer for my husband who has Alzheimer's. I was taken ill and had to go to hospital twice. My daughters had to take over their father's care. They could not get any help from social services. Both live and work away from Birmingham. They contacted Kerria Court in Lee Bank to try to get
a place for respite while I was in hospital. The employees at the home were very helpful and got him a room and applied to social services for financial help. His stay there was short because when I was discharged I brought him home as he was unhappy to be away from family.

Staff are very friendly. All have time to talk, let us know anything happening. All areas are clean and tidy.

From the first moment we were looking for a home for mum we knew she would be in safe hands at Kerria court .iIt like a home from home for mum. Working in the care sector I was nervous about putting mum in care but being in the industry I knew it was the best decision to be made for my mums
safety. Mum always kept staff on there toes and nothing ever fazed them . When I had concerns about mum two particular members of staff were always available to help and support sorting the issues. Mum deteriorated but they allowed her to stay around people she knew and loved. In those final moments I realised what the staff felt for my mum. I'm so glad she was surrounded by extended family of Kerria court they came to say good bye and they supported the whole family throughout the journey. I can't thank the staff enough for the live they showed to mum and myself and my wife. I will always remember mum laughing and singing at Kerria court she was happy again.

We are delighted with the care provided at Kerria Court. The staff are attentive, kind and respectful towards everyone. The home is clean and well maintained. The open communication from the management team is fantastic. We would highly recommend Kerria Court for providing a safe and supportive
environment for family members who require 24-hour care.

Mom has been in Kerria Court since early November 2024.
Without exception, the Management and Staff have been excellent - caring, compassionate, and empathetic.
Mom loves the food, even though "all they want me to do is eat all day".
The home has regular entertainment and activities for residents
to enjoy if they want to get involved - and there are areas they can sit for some peace and quiet, too.
Mom currently spends quite a lot of time in her room (with a small kitchenette and full en-suite), but we're sure that as her confidence grows, she will venture into the communal lounge more and more. The staff are trying to encourage this too.
Each time mom has had a small health issue, the team at Kerria Court ensure she is looked after - helped by a weekly visit from the local GP.
It's obviously a worry when her children live 100+ miles away, but we're reassured given the quality of care mom receives.

My mother has been cared for at Kerria Court since January 2019. My family and I are so happy with the wonderful loving care and support she has received since arriving at Kerria Court. We have found the staff to be very attentive to Mum's particular needs. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday,
and the home hosted a very special family birthday celebration for her. I can not speak too highly of the management and staff at Kerria Court.

There is no longer lovely music playing. The staff turnover is huge as I did not recognise anyone. My mother was in the lounge, which was very positive. She looked well. The overall standard of cleanliness is good, and the place tidy with no offensive smell. It would be good for those able to, to
have a short trip out occasionally. However, I recognise that this would be challenging.

When looking for a suitable Care home for my mother, I worried that I might never find a home that would do her justice! However, I need not have worried, as Kerria Court has been the perfect place to meet my mother's needs as well as, make her feel she is a part of an extended family. As soon as I
arrived to have a look around with my husband we both had a great feeling about it.
Over the initial period of Mom moving in I found staff were very warm and welcoming to both Mom and her visitors. This helped her to settle in very quickly. They make it very clear that I can come to them with any concerns or requests should the need arise! Five weeks on, nothing has changed other than I too now feel part of this family.
I am most grateful to the staff for making this transition for both Mom and my family a painlessly happy experience.

Great service from start to finish. Visiting my nan she looked to be comfortable and was brought to see me promptly. I was given plenty of information in regard to what she was doing and what food she is having throughout the day.

When my mother was admitted to Kerria Court Care Home, she was wary and anxious which was quite understandable after living on her own for the last twenty years but as time has gone by, she seems to be accepting where she is which is a good start. This is because she is getting 24-hour care. We, as
a family, feel this is the right place for her and hopefully, she stays like this thanks to the care she is receiving from the care home staff.
