Mum has been exceptionally well looked after since arriving in Sept 25. The staff have been very kind, patient and respectful, they take time to get to know her and encourage her to socialise and include her in the wide variety of activities available. The food is tasty, plentiful and always a good
choice available. Mum has also had quite a few health issues, the staff and local gp have dealt with these efficiently and with great care.

My mother has been in Lammas house care home since December 2022 she is very well looked after all staff are very caring and professional the home is spotlessly clean . Mum is happy with meals which are tasty and nutritious. There is a good prgramne of activities each day all together a
positive and happy choice for mother and all her family thank you Lammas

My mum has received outstanding care at this home, and I honestly can't thank the staff enough.
From day one, everyone has been kind, patient, and genuinely caring - not just doing a job, but treating my mum with real dignity and respect. The staff take the time to know her as a person, not just a
resident, and that has made all the difference to her happiness and wellbeing.
Communication with the family has been excellent. We're always kept informed, and any questions or concerns are dealt with quickly and thoughtfully. It gives such peace of mind knowing she's safe, comfortable, and so well looked after.
The home itself is clean, welcoming, and well run, and there's a lovely atmosphere - calm, friendly, and supportive. It truly feels like a place where people are cared for, not just housed.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, compassionate, and professional environment for their loved one. We're incredibly grateful for everything they do.

My mum has just spent 5 weeks at Lammas House for a short term care stay. Everyone at this particular care home understand the word 'care'. Mum was extremely well looked after. Staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond. It was such a reassurance to know she was staying in a place where
every member of staff is a credit to the company. The room, with its own front door was always immaculate and mum really enjoyed the food and the interaction with the staff. The chef introducing himself to her was a lovely touch. The VE Day was a memorable event for everyone there which was great for sharing personal stories of their memories of WW2, and great for us to hear too.
Mum was treated with dignity and care at all times. As we took her home at the end of her stay it was obvious to see how much care every member of staff has for her and for us as her family too. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lammas House to anyone looking for a care home facility.

If you're looking for a care home for a loved one, Lammas House ticks all the right boxes.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are excellent and really do care about the residents' requirements.
They organise daily activities and encourage all the residents to get involved. The food is
excellent and the chef ensures that everyone's needs are catered for.
Seeing Mum happy, makes this an easier process.

All the staff and residents made me feel very welcome and felt at home straight away. Nothing I asked for was too much trouble for the staff to do for me.

Dad enjoyed his stay, was well looked after, he can't wait to visit again, so that is a definite positive! Very professional, lots of activities and lovely room. Excellent staff, very caring, would definitely recommend for short or long stays.

Mum moved into Lammas House earlier this year and was made welcome. Her freshly decorated, comfortable room was beautiful. Staff made every effort to get to know Mum and encouraged her involvement in the range of varied activities available. In addition, time and attention were spent ensuring that
mum's dietary needs were met and delicious tasty meals were offered which we know she enjoyed. Sadly Mum's condition deteriorated and we were told after a recent hospital admission that Mum was at the end of her life.
During this painful and difficult time, the support provided to Mum and our family was exceptional. Staff went above and beyond to meet the needs of the whole family whilst we stayed with Mum during the final days of her life, providing choice, care, food and drink in a respectful and sensitive manner. It is so hard to put into words what that meant to our family. We will never forget the care shown, it will stay with us forever.
To the incredible staff at Lammas, we thank you all.

My aunt needed temporary respite care following a fall, and is spending a few weeks to recover at Lammas House. She has been very well cared for, and the staff have been wonderful. She has had her hair done a few times, and looks lovely, and has participated in some of the activities offered by the
team.
The meals are freshly cooked, and she has eaten meals in the restaurant and her own room. Every staff member I've met has been helpful, polite and pleasant.
I live many miles away, and can only visit once a week, and the Lammas Team were able to arrange transport and an escort to take my aunt for a hospital scan, which was a huge help. They are able to set up a petty cash arrangement so can purchase toiletries etc when needed for her. They have also arranged for the GP that covers Lammas House to see her, and they manage her medication.
The support I have been given in person and through calls and emails, especially from two members of staff in particular has been fantastic.

My sister has been a resident here for just over a year and has been extremely happy during her stay. The staff have been friendly and helpful and because I live some distance away have been very good at keeping me informed on her progress.

Very nice place and the staff are very attentive kind and considerate. My mother feels happy and safe there. Her room is always kept clean and she has been able to adjust it to her own taste and liking.

Excellent, friendly, caring for physical and psychological needs and keeping relatives fully updated. Very clean, tidy and modern premises.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his respite stay in Lammas House. It was his first experience of residential care and he soon settled in with the care and support of the lovely staff.
The food was excellent with plenty of choice and plenty of snacks throughout the day. He would have no concerns
about having a further stay if circumstances necessitate it. Many thanks to all the staff for their care and support.

I visited my aunt to celebrate her birthday with the rest of the family. She looked lovely. The staff had done her hair beautifully and put makeup on her. We had dinner for eight people in an upstairs dining room. Beautiful three-course dinner with wine etc. The staff couldn't have been more
attentive. They even made a birthday cake with candles and sang to her. We really could have been at our own home.

My sister has been a resident at Lammas House now for three and a half years. She has always received excellent care and the home is happy and welcoming. Her needs have increased greatly since she arrived and the staff have worked hard to provide her with the appropriate care.

The staff are extremely friendly and nothing was too much for them. I was very impressed by the staff and how the home was run. Very efficient and clean. The food by the chefs was excellent. My mother really enjoyed her time here.

Our mum died this January after two and a half years at Lammas House. I am placing this review to acknowledge the outstanding care that the team provided to Mum during that time. I feel they cherished her as we did. It is hard to pick out particular aspects as everything was so good but her key
workers were so respectful but also had such fun with her - she loved to laugh about life. The chef and team made beautiful meals every day and as she became less able to manage a regular diet, they adapted her meals so that they were still tasty and appealing. The activities coordinator was so friendly, enthusiastic and sensitive and always found ways to involve Mum in what was going on. The night staff who we didn’t meet so often were so kind to her. Lammas House staff helped us so much through Mum’s last days - we will never forget their kindness.

My Mum was cared for by the wonderful staff at Lammas House between June 2020 up until her passing in January this year. I cannot praise the home enough for the level of service and attention they provided. She was always dressed well and had her hair done regularly by the hairdresser. The home
accommodated her needs as they changed and ensured she received appropriate nutrition. The level of catering is out of this world. There were always activities and the home has an atmosphere more like a family home. Independence is also respected for those who prefer to be in their rooms rather than communal areas. I would be very happy to chat to anyone about our experience also.
