Oriel is a very well run care home, happy and homely for the residents and welcoming for visitors. The manager and her team of carers ensure that the residents are happy, comfortable, very well cared for emotionally and physically. Any medical issues or other concerns are dealt with in house or if
necessary by medical professionals who visit on a regular basis or called in straight away if required.

Staff are very attentive to Mom's needs and have looked after her very well during her time at the home. All staff and management are devoted to caring for the residents.

Faultless. In every respect, very high level personalised care. Without exception the carers were courteous, kind and professional. Manager Kellie was warm, compassionate, and approachable. Special thanks also to Melissa and especially Lucy.

Having just lost our mum today after 4 years at Oriel, I feel compelled to write a review. The care that mom received, particularly over the last few months which have been physically challenging for her, has been outstanding. Every single member of staff has shown love, care, compassion and dignity
toward all of the family, esp mum. This has meant that the awful experience of losing a family member, has been made bearable by the staff at Oriel - we didn't have to ask for a thing - everything was offered to us, sometimes before we even needed it.

Dad moved into Oriel Care Home end of December 2025. We initially spoke with Kellie who was nothing bye helpful, sympathetic and caring from the onset. Dad has settled in well and we have only praise for all of the staff who go above and beyond for all of the residents. We really like the activities
that are offered to the residents on a daily basis. Dad looks well cared for, clean and well dressed. He enjoys his home cooked meals and we are always given a warm welcome whenever we visit.

My mother has been here since April last year, and we have been very happy with the care she has had. All the staff have been very helpful to my mum and to me. And as my mum says, "It's like being in my own home!"

My mother has been a resident since November 2024. She seems very settled at Oriel Care Home. We are very pleased with the staff, care and her room. She always seems very satisfied with the care and support she receives.

I have three grandparents all with dementia and I am so happy we found Oriel, the connection the staff make and have made with all the residents is a joy to see. Oriel has such a warm and welcoming environment and I sleep well at night knowing they are all in great hands couldn't thank the staff
enough.

Over the years my husband and I have visited various friends and family in Oriel House. Always found the stuff most efficient and friendly. The home is well-kept, clean and pleasant to come into. It would be my first choice and would and do recommend to. Friends who need a home and care for their
loved ones also would add that value for money Oriel takes some beating.

Looking after my dad can be challenging at the best of times, but the staff at Oriel have been nothing short of amazing. I'm kept informed of any changes regarding my dad's health, treatment plans, and condition. Knowing that they are doing their utmost to look after him is a huge weight off our
shoulders. It's also nice to know that any questions I have, the staff and management, do their best to give me an answer or get back with one as soon as possible.

Mum is very happy during her stay here.

Since July, my mum has been in Oriel Care home with dementia. Before her admission, there were concerns regarding her wellbeing at home. The care she has received since July has been excellent, I couldn't have asked for anything more. I do notice the empathy that is shown at all times, and you can
see how serious their job means to them.

Both of my parents are at Oriel, and the care they receive here is absolutely fabulous. Although both of my parents have dementia, they both tell me how happy and how well looked after they are. The staff and the manager go above and beyond for my parents, and the support they give me is priceless.

My wife has been in Oriel Care Home since July. I cannot fault the care she has had since she has been here. I cannot fault all the staff from top to bottom, they are fantastic.

Staff really good and helpful and always offered a drink. Very good with the residents.

I feel that my husband is settled and looked after the benefits from the craft sessions and the entertainment. The staff are friendly and helpful.
He is settled on the ground floor and he can walk there himself.

Excellent, friendly care home. Real family feel. Care staff are professional and attentive. Any issues are immediately resolved or mitigated.
Lovely room with nice outlook, and food is good.
Level of care and attention to personal needs is excellent.
Would highly recommend.

Staff are lovely always welcoming and open to questions, they are very good with Mum and Dad.

My mother was looked after so well at Oriel Care Home. They really 'got her little ways' and I saw how well she responded to the attention she received. The home is always clean and fresh, warm and welcoming. They have lots of activities but importantly Mom could be quiet in her room when she chose
which was important. Very lovely staff, a good choice for Mom.

Lovely care is provided by caring and dedicated staff. There is always something for the residents to do, and they like to include the families in all ways and lovely garden parties! I would recommend Oriel anytime.
