My mother has been a resident since November 2024. She seems very settled at Oriel Care Home. We are very pleased with the staff, care and her room. She always seems very satisfied with the care and support she receives.

I have three grandparents all with dementia and I am so happy we found Oriel, the connection the staff make and have made with all the residents is a joy to see. Oriel has such a warm and welcoming environment and I sleep well at night knowing they are all in great hands couldn't thank the staff enough.

Over the years my husband and I have visited various friends and family in Oriel House. Always found the stuff most efficient and friendly. The home is well-kept, clean and pleasant to come into. It would be my first choice and would and do recommend to. Friends who need a home and care for their loved

Looking after my dad can be challenging at the best of times, but the staff at Oriel have been nothing short of amazing. I'm kept informed of any changes regarding my dad's health, treatment plans, and condition. Knowing that they are doing their utmost to look after him is a huge weight off our shoulders.
It's also nice to know that any questions I have, the staff and management, do their best to give me an answer or get back with one as soon as possible.

Since July, my mum has been in Oriel Care home with dementia. Before her admission, there were concerns regarding her wellbeing at home. The care she has received since July has been excellent, I couldn't have asked for anything more. I do notice the empathy that is shown at all times, and you can see
how serious their job means to them.

Both of my parents are at Oriel, and the care they receive here is absolutely fabulous. Although both of my parents have dementia, they both tell me how happy and how well looked after they are. The staff and the manager go above and beyond for my parents, and the support they give me is priceless.

Dad is quite happy and settled, has a good relationship with all staff, his care needs are met very well, and any illness or concerns regarding his health are dealt with straight away in-house or calls to relevant medical professionals. There has been a big improvement this year in standards and care.
There is a happy atmosphere and it's very welcoming to family when visiting. I would happily recommend Oriel Care Home.

My mother was looked after so well at Oriel Care Home. They really 'got her little ways' and I saw how well she responded to the attention she received. The home is always clean and fresh, warm and welcoming. They have lots of activities but importantly Mom could be quiet in her room when she chose
which was important. Very lovely staff, a good choice for Mom.

My aunt moved into Oriel House in October. She has settled in very well, and the staff are very kind and friendly. She enjoys the food. The management is very responsive to any requests or problems, and we are made welcome when we visit.

My mother has been a resident at Oriel since May 2022. She was previously a resident of another local care home that closed. Although these were distressing circumstances for my mother, who suffers from dementia, she was welcomed and helped by the staff at Oriel. They were patient with her and ensured
that she settled in well; I cannot thank them enough for this.
The staff are always professional and helpful and keep me well informed, which I appreciate as I am not always able to visit every week. I feel confident my mother is very well looked after by the staff at Oriel.
My mother enjoys the activities at Oriel, and I feel she is happy and content living at the home.
I am also impressed with the presence of senior managers at the home. My past experience with care homes is that this is not always the case. I feel that they are approachable and again, keep me well-informed.

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent, friendly staff, very courteous, good response to any help that is asked for. My mother is always clean and well cared for. Her room is always clean. I would highly recommend Oriel Care Home. The staff made my father very welcome from the day he arrived, and they have worked tirelessly to get him settled in his new home. He is a high falls risk, and the safety procedures they have in place to support him are above and beyond what we expected. The
staff are always willing to sit and listen to his concerns and encourage him to participate in day-to-day activities. The staff are caring, compassionate and care about the residents. We are assured he is cared for to the highest standards. Nothing is too much trouble, and there is always lots of laughter heard from both Dad and the nurses.
