View Full Details of The CroftThe overall service at the home is very good, the treatment to residents by the staff can't be bettered, a really friendly atmosphere everytime I visit.
After working in healthcare for over 10 years and recently my grandma needing restbite at other care homes I lost all faith in a carehome for a relative until we were recommended by multiple district nurse friends to The Croft. They have changed my grandmas and my familys life. My grandma is so well cared for in every aspect by the most lovliest staff. The home is so well lead and the manager is the best I have come accross throughout all my carer and experiences. The home is always kept clean and smells lovely. There is activities all the time and this is the most my grandma has socialised in 10 years and families. Most importantly my grandma is safe and The Croft can 100% be trusted. Even when my grandma falls (un-avoidable unfortunately) they respond + manage so fast + effectively. Cannot thank the staff enough for what they do there!!
An excellent care home. Lovely homely environment. My mother is most happy living at The Croft.
Cannot fault the care at The Croft. Everyone is so helpful and caring. The care given is excellent.
Dad has been in The Croft for two years now and we couldn't have picked a better place. The staff are wonderful, very caring and all know him well. He's well cared for and very happy what more could we ask (btw thanks to the activities team)
From day one the attention for my dad has been very good. I have been informed about his daily care and changed on a regular basis. All staff have been attentive with dad and he is happy to be here.
Generally excellent experience from all support for staff at The Croft. My father in law really enjoys his life at The Croft.
We were desperate prior to The Croft. Following a few months of decreasing mobility which culminated in a fall The Croft stepped in and gave Dad a safe space and us some respite. Because of The Croft his confidence is returning and he is able to return home. Thank you.
Having to move mum to a care home was one of the hardest things I have had to do. We visited several and read reviews, spoke to lots of people. I have to say The Croft came out top consistently, both from service users families and health care professionals, one even saying 'this is the best thing you have done for your mum' (moving her to The Croft). I cannot speak too highly of the staff, professional, caring, friendly, knowledgable, from the manager down. Mum has settled and I am able to confidently know she is well looked after and safe. I would recommend The Croft to anyone.
The staff were amazing with Dad, they treated him with care, respect and dignity - nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Dad was at The Croft for 2 months receiving 'end of life' care, together with the local hospice Dad remained pain-free. As a family we were also looked after by the staff, always a friendly face at the door welcoming us for our daily visit. I would highly recommend The Croft to anyone.
Mom is happy and settled. No real issues although there is a noticeable difference between daily care and weekends which can be a bit too relaxed.
Generally very good. Clean and tidy. Good outdoor space. Some excellent staff, some do try to hurry too much.
When I visit my friend I find the staff very welcoming and friendly and if I have any questions they will always answer them. I visit my friend every week she is always happy and smiling.
My mother-in-law has dementia. She has been a resident of The Croft for one year. The Croft have been amazing to her and to us as a family during this time. We cannot speak highly enough of the manager here and her team. My mother-in-law was 100 years old in October and celebrations were held for her here and a cake made. The activities team made sure of that. Exemplary care throughout which gives us as a family so much peace of mind well done to everyone.
I would just like to say I am very pleased with the service my mom has received since being in The Croft. The staff are very good and always there to help her and even to sit and have a chat with Mom.
The home is like 'home from home'. The staff make the residents feel like part of a community. My mam has dementia and has thrived during the 3 years at the home, I can't thank the staff enough.
Lovely care home, always plenty of staff around, so caring. Lovely and clean and nothing is too much trouble. Recommend highly.
I find The Croft excellent and helpful in every way.
It took me a couple of weeks to settle into The Croft, but as time passed, thanks to the support of the staff I began to feel comfortable and make friendships. The staff were all so patient and knew their jobs so well that it helped build my confidence. Many of them could multitask and help everything ran smoothly. My room was kept clean and comfortable and the meals were good with generous servings. Visitors were welcomed. Our safety and security were important and when we needed medical attention I was confident I would be looked after promptly by appropriately qualified staff. The manager set high standards, the whole management team were seen around the home constantly. They were approachable, experienced, kind and friendly. If I have to spend time in a residential home in the future, The Croft would be my choice without a doubt, especially as attention was given to our minds through the afternoon activities, which I enjoyed a lot.
Early days yet of mum's care but up to now, general consensus is good.
