The Croft is a CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ (March 2020) care home in Wolverhampton that provides round-the-clock residential care for older people, through dedicated staff who understand how worrying it can be to ensure your loved one is well taken care of.

As soon as they arrive, your loved one will become part of the family and a member of the friendly group of residents that staff care for.

They will receive constant care and attention, support and companionship whilst catering for their every need and personal tastes. It doesn't matter whether you're funded privately or by social services, you'll be welcome here.

The worry that your loved one may have little quality of life will no longer be a concern. At The Croft there’s always something to join in with or someone to chat to. The overall service at the home is very good, the treatment to residents by the staff can't be bettered, a really friendly atmosphere everytime I visit.

After working in healthcare for over 10 years and recently my grandma needing restbite at other care homes I lost all faith in a carehome for a relative until we were recommended by multiple district nurse friends to The Croft. They have changed my grandmas and my familys life. My grandma is so well
cared for in every aspect by the most lovliest staff. The home is so well lead and the manager is the best I have come accross throughout all my carer and experiences. The home is always kept clean and smells lovely. There is activities all the time and this is the most my grandma has socialised in 10 years and families. Most importantly my grandma is safe and The Croft can 100% be trusted. Even when my grandma falls (un-avoidable unfortunately) they respond + manage so fast + effectively. Cannot thank the staff enough for what they do there!!

Dad has been in The Croft for two years now and we couldn't have picked a better place. The staff are wonderful, very caring and all know him well. He's well cared for and very happy what more could we ask (btw thanks to the activities team)

We were desperate prior to The Croft. Following a few months of decreasing mobility which culminated in a fall The Croft stepped in and gave Dad a safe space and us some respite. Because of The Croft his confidence is returning and he is able to return home. Thank you.

Having to move mum to a care home was one of the hardest things I have had to do. We visited several and read reviews, spoke to lots of people. I have to say The Croft came out top consistently, both from service users families and health care professionals, one even saying 'this is the best thing you
have done for your mum' (moving her to The Croft). I cannot speak too highly of the staff, professional, caring, friendly, knowledgable, from the manager down. Mum has settled and I am able to confidently know she is well looked after and safe. I would recommend The Croft to anyone.

The staff were amazing with Dad, they treated him with care, respect and dignity - nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Dad was at The Croft for 2 months receiving 'end of life' care, together with the local hospice Dad remained pain-free. As a family we were also looked after by the staff, always
a friendly face at the door welcoming us for our daily visit. I would highly recommend The Croft to anyone.

My mother-in-law has dementia. She has been a resident of The Croft for one year. The Croft have been amazing to her and to us as a family during this time. We cannot speak highly enough of the manager here and her team. My mother-in-law was 100 years old in October and celebrations were held for her
here and a cake made. The activities team made sure of that. Exemplary care throughout which gives us as a family so much peace of mind well done to everyone.

It took me a couple of weeks to settle into The Croft, but as time passed, thanks to the support of the staff I began to feel comfortable and make friendships. The staff were all so patient and knew their jobs so well that it helped build my confidence. Many of them could multitask and help everything
ran smoothly. My room was kept clean and comfortable and the meals were good with generous servings. Visitors were welcomed. Our safety and security were important and when we needed medical attention I was confident I would be looked after promptly by appropriately qualified staff. The manager set high standards, the whole management team were seen around the home constantly. They were approachable, experienced, kind and friendly. If I have to spend time in a residential home in the future, The Croft would be my choice without a doubt, especially as attention was given to our minds through the afternoon activities, which I enjoyed a lot.
