A wonderful caring home. we are always made to feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. My mother-in-law is very well cared for, everyone at the home loves her and treats her like their family. Thank you all for everything you do for the residents. We are so grateful that my mother-in-law is so well looked after.

Mom has been living at The Croft for over a year now and in my opinion, she is settled and very well cared for. She has regular meals and medication and there are numerous activities. I am more than happy with The Croft and I am confident that she is in a really good place. I have no worries or concerns with her. Please can the Internet be looked at as she now has a smart speaker but we are unable to use it. Thank you.

I would definitely not recommend this home for anyone who is already suffering dementia, based on my mother's experience in December 2025. My mother was assessed and accepted by this home as suffering mild to moderate dementia which was worse at night when she was disorientated, "leave her with us she'll be fine" were the managers parting words. We chose this home partly because it was close by within walking distance for myself and for her grandson and partly 'cus of decent reputation and a nice outside garden. After the 2nd night we were phoned at 5am in the morning (on a Sunday) to demand that she must leave immediately, they made no attempt to contact social services but left everything to ourselves to find alternative accommodating for her, they wanted her to leave immediately, they did not seem able to cope with night time confusion & wandering which affects dementia sufferers and which they were warned about and clearly did not have sufficient staff overnight.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry that your mother's stay was so upsetting for you and your family. We understand how difficult it is to find the right care for someone you love, particularly when they are living with dementia, and we regret that your...

I am absolutely delighted with the quality of care my beloved Aunty receives at The Croft. She has blossomed so much since moving there and to know that she is safe, cherished and participating in such a wide range of activities is priceless to me and all her family. We could not ask for anything more for our aunt. Everything is first class... the management, staff, decor, garden; it really feels like home when you walk through the front door. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness. You are stars!

After working in healthcare for over 10 years and recently my grandma needing restbite at other care homes I lost all faith in a carehome for a relative until we were recommended by multiple district nurse friends to The Croft. They have changed my grandmas and my familys life. My grandma is so well cared for in every aspect by the most lovliest staff. The home is so well lead and the manager is the best I have come accross throughout all my carer and experiences. The home is always kept clean and smells lovely. There is activities all the time and this is the most my grandma has socialised in 10 years and families. Most importantly my grandma is safe and The Croft can 100% be trusted. Even when my grandma falls (un-avoidable unfortunately) they respond + manage so fast + effectively. Cannot thank the staff enough for what they do there!!

We were desperate prior to The Croft. Following a few months of decreasing mobility which culminated in a fall The Croft stepped in and gave Dad a safe space and us some respite. Because of The Croft his confidence is returning and he is able to return home. Thank you.

The staff were amazing with Dad, they treated him with care, respect and dignity - nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Dad was at The Croft for 2 months receiving 'end of life' care, together with the local hospice Dad remained pain-free. As a family we were also looked after by the staff, always a friendly face at the door welcoming us for our daily visit. I would highly recommend The Croft to anyone.
