The Croft is a CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ (March 2020) care home in Wolverhampton that provides round-the-clock residential care for older people, through dedicated staff who understand how worrying it can be to ensure your loved one is well taken care of.

As soon as they arrive, your loved one will become part of the family and a member of the friendly group of residents that staff care for.

They will receive constant care and attention, support and companionship whilst catering for their every need and personal tastes. It doesn't matter whether you're funded privately or by social services, you'll be welcome here.

The worry that your loved one may have little quality of life will no longer be a concern. At The Croft there’s always something to join in with or someone to chat to. Even if mobility is an issue, no one is ever stuck in their room, because a new lease of life beckons! There’ll always be a member of staff ready and willing to lend a supportive hand.

I cannot fault The Croft in any way. Throughout Covid, they have shown care, dedication and professionalism. They are a great team who have shown Mum love and care to the highest standard.

Excellent care home. Staff are attentive, professional and caring. Food is very good, varied and plentiful. Pleasant surroundings with nicely decorated rooms. Senior staff and management are professional, organized and diligent. My mother has been well cared for during difficult times. It's reassuring

I visited the above home yesterday, under restrictions, everything had been arranged in a safe professional way and all PPE was waiting on the table for my use. My mother-in-law was very pleased to see me as I had not seen her face to face since March. The only downside was that she couldn't hear me
very well through the glass but we still had an enjoyable half-hour.

I have been in many care homes over the years. I can say this is best. The staff are wonderful very pleasant and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. My friend has been in the home for 3 years and is very happy and settled. There is never any smell at all my friend is always clean. Her room
is very clean, the staff bend over backwards to every need. The food is excellent. My friend looks very well indeed.

Everyone at The Croft cares so much about the residents and always show warmth and genuine compassion. This has been a horrendous year for us all but all the residents have been kept safe and cheerful and we as a family have had regular updates.

My mother has been at the Croft since February and is completely happy and at home there and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Being a small care home, it’s very personal and all the residents know each other and the staff. The rooms are spacious
yet cosy and the communal areas are comfortable and homely. I would highly recommend the Croft.

I have seen many residential care homes and the Croft is one of the best. Choice of care home depends to some extent on needs and individual preferences and how individuals will fit in with other residents. Time was taken to consider this and our friend has developed well socially. Undoubtedly this

The Croft is well managed and a beautiful and very clean (in looks and smell) care home. It is home from home with lovely furniture and decor. The staff are professional, caring and very friendly. My mother gets the very best care and is treated with respect and dignity. The lines of communication are
always open on a daily basis and I am consulted on my mother's care regularly. The food looks wonderful and my Mom has put weight on which she needed to. In the summer the residents were out in well-kept gardens enjoying the sunshine. When activities were not restricted due to Covid-19 there were many opportunities for Mom to join in and it was lovely to see her dancing to the D-day celebrations there. On my visits, the staff welcome me and are friendly and I notice how well all residents are treated.

The staff at The Croft looked after my mother for the last couple of weeks of her life, they took her in as an emergency admission on a Sunday afternoon.
Nothing was too much for the staff, my mother received outstanding care and nursing.
They organised a special bed, called in the hospice nurses
immediately and did everything they possibly could to help Mum!
They were caring, professional, proactive as she deteriorated; calling in any and all specialist care as and when required.
When she arrived at The Croft, my Mum was distressed, disorientated and very anxious. The Croft staff went out of their way to make Mum comfortable, relaxed and calm.
The staff here are simply amazing, they do a fantastic job.
They even looked after her family, myself included making us feel welcome whenever we arrived to be with Mum.
I will be forever grateful to ALL the staff at The Croft.

My mum has been in poor health this month but the staff at The Croft have ensured that a healthcare professional has been called immediately. I live 20 miles away and this is a great comfort to me.

The Croft stands out as a care facility. It is warm and friendly, well staffed with staff who all genuinely care about the residents at the home, They are always approachable and prepared to go the extra mile to help both the residents and the friends and family of these residents. When my mother just
went in she was frail and isolated she is now returning to her former self joining in with activities and joking with the staff.

The staff are always welcoming and polite. Whenever I see them with Dad they are kind towards him, caring and take their time with him. They never rush. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The proof is that Dad seems happy, comfortable, warm and well looked after. Having visited him, you
always leave in the knowledge he is safe and you can walk away without worry. It's a very, very well run establishment.

The Croft is a very well run and friendly care home. The staff all do a tremendous job and look after my father extremely well. His needs are met at all times and he is well cared for. I can see why the CQC report awarded The Croft an outstanding rating. First class all round.

My experience of the home is related to my mother's residency. She has been looked after by all the staff and has commented on the high quality of food and how she gets on with all.
She has been encouraged to take part in activities and enjoyed them when she has made the effort. The senior staff have
all been very helpful in explaining how things are and answering any questions.

I am treated with kindness from all the staff and helped with duties that I find a little difficult at times!! I find I can have personal advice from senior staff in certain matters which is appreciated. The standard of my nice bedroom is lovely and very nicely kept. I much appreciate every asset!!

Very clean and friendly home. Staff seem proficient in caring for residents and maintain a friendly, homely atmosphere. Comfortable facilities, bedroom a little small but quite adequate. Good activities planned for residents but my mother can't do them all. Fees quite expensive but not out of line
with other homes.

I usually come with my friend to see her sister and I can only say I find everything and everyone excellent, very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend the home and be happy to stay here myself should the need ever arise.
