In my mother's last days, the staff at the home showed her love, care and compassion. They were wonderful and I was so grateful for the support they gave me.

Yesterday I visited mum and enjoyed a lovely time singing along to that days entertainer. The music that is provided at Willow Bank is excellent with residents, relatives and staff all joining in. Music is so important to mum as it really triggers memories of bands she has seen as well as showing she still knows all the words to lots of songs. As always it was lovely to enjoy coffee and cake with mum.

We, the family and the husband of Halcyon, were very pleased with the professional care given to our dear mother. She was well looked after and helped to keep her dignity within the realms of her creeping dementia. We were impressed with her private room complete with en-suite bathroom and sitting chair with a window overlooking the garden. Every time we visited we were treated well and my elderly father given help to be able to sit with Halcyon. The place was tidy and mostly clean given the difficult circumstances. We thank you and the staff for looking after and caring for our mother

I want to express my thanks to the Willow Bank staff for the excellent care that my partner received during his residence there from January 2024 to January 2025. I was impressed by Willow Bank the first time I went there. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. There are several different rooms available to the residents. On the ground floor there are two large sitting rooms, a pleasant television room and a dining room which is also used for other activities and events. There are activities and a variety of events every day including music, singing, dancing, exercise, skittles, quizzes, animals to pet - the list goes on! Primarily, of course, it was the staff that made Willow Bank such a good second home for my partner who was suffering from vascular dementia. They treated the residents in such a normal and relaxed way, coping calmly and cheerfully at all times. I was so impressed. I know he was happy there. Thank you Willow Bank.

There's a nice busy atmosphere in the home. Staff are always on hand and are friendly and helpful to residents and visitors. Residents and visitors are treated to a variety of activities, both in-house and from outside entertainers.

My mum is in Willow bank and I'm very happy with the care she gets off all the staff. The staff are very loving to mum and look after her well. There are lots of different activities that go on, mums room is very clean and bright. Mum enjoys her food and she's given plenty to drink.

Willow Bank is an incredible residential home, there is such a kind, warm and friendly presence as soon as you enter the home. I know my Grandmother is happy and safe and never have to worry about her because we know she's in safe hands. Willow Bank go above and beyond with everything they do, from the activities they put on to the care they give. I highly recommend.

What a great residential home. My nan is very settled there and all the staff a very friendly they go above and beyond with different activities they put on for the residents nan certainly likes a sing song which is amazing to see thank you for all the staff at willow bank you all do an amazing job

What a fantastic residential home my great nan is loving it there and she loves all the entertainment that the staff puts on for them. The staff are always lovely and puts a smile on your face and the residents face which is lovely to see.

My mother is a long term resident (5 years this February) at Willowbank. She has vascular dementia and her condition has progressed as would be expected. What has been consistent over this time is the kind, respectful and caring support she has received from all Willowbank carers and ancillary staff. Within a secure environment, residents are given as much freedom as is possible to move around the home and to make their own choices. There is a regular programme of activities within the main lounge and there always seems to be something entertaining happening on my weekly visits to Mum. Family engagement is always encouraged and managers and staff make themselves available for any questions and regular review meetings. The home is bright and cheerful and well maintained. Most importantly the home has as its backbone a really dedicated Manager, Deputy, Head of Care and Team Leaders who have my respect.

Willowbank care team are more than just a team of carers, they are extended family members who give my mom the best possible life living with Alzheimer's... My mom is given respect, love, dignity and understanding. I cannot fault the Willowbank team, they are all the best! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do for my mom, even supporting my dad as he copes without her.

Staff always welcoming. We recently lost our dad who loved to visit Mum at Willowbank. Myself and my sister appreciated the kindness shown to Dad and ourselves. The care shown to Mum is wonderful and we always have good feedback when we visit and call.

My mother has been a resident here at Willow Bank care home for 18 months. All the staff are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond to help my mom and even myself and my father. Their kindness and caring attitude shines through making my mom smile every day. The home is always clean and the food smells delicious. They're always able to answer any questions we may have with empathy and love. There is a good continuity with regular and familiar staff. The activities are wonderful, there's always something happening such as magicians, trips out, singers, animal visits and so much more. I know my mom is safe and cared for at Willow Bank care home. They are all wonderful!

My mother is now thriving at Willowbank Care Home (she has been a resident for 3 years), and I truly believe this is due to the care, hard work and dedication of their wonderful team. She has integrated beautifully, making friends with both the other residents and staff alike. She particularly enjoys the various music activities they plan regularly and it's heartwarming to see her living well with dementia. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this specialist dementia care home to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones. Thank you, Willowbank Team, for taking such amazing care of my mum!

I cannot express how grateful I am to Willow Bank the staff are unbelievably the best I could ever wish for to look after my husband. They are professional, hard-working, kind, caring and that is all of them from the office staff to the kitchen to domestic to carers they have done so much for my husband, they are his family, and they are the ones he wants to be with, they are the ones he feels safe with, they are the ones he smiles at. I can see when I go there that they all do their best and go that extra mile even if it's just to hold a resident's hand while they are upset or scared. They are always doing things to make it as enjoyable as they can for them including craft days, hairdressers, games, singers, comedians and days out and other events, in fact, they have a better social life than me. I love going to see my husband there. I can say wholeheartedly I would never want him to go anywhere else.

Would recommend Willow Bank as an excellent care home for someone with dementia needs. The carers and other staff are pleasant, polite and present a happy environment for the residents. The chefs provide wonderful food and the cleanliness is very good. Lots of entertainment for all to enjoy.

My mum has been at Willow Bank for the past three years. I cannot praise the staff enough, they are all exceptional. I am always fully informed regarding her care, and any questions I have are always answered fully. The atmosphere at Willow Bank is very happy, with music playing and lots of activities going on, but also quiet areas for people who like a slower pace, Dementia cafe is great to meet other families.

My father's care has been excellent. Staff are all very friendly and take the time to get to know residents. Dad is happy living here and feels safe and well looked after. Lots of activities, singing and dancing are on offer. We recently had a family party for a big birthday for Dad and the staff were very accommodating and helpful with this - we all had a lovely time. I would certainly recommend Willow Bank as a lovely home with excellent staff and in such a peaceful setting.

My husband has been at Willow Bank since June 2024. The staff are very approachable and have taken time to get to know my husband and the challenges he presents. This is a well-run home which is kept clean and tidy. I had my reservations about placing my husband here but all my worries have been allayed having seen how well cared for he is. I would recommend this home without hesitation.
