My husband and I live in South Devon so we are unable to visit our cousin as often as we would like or join in any of the lovely activities offered by Sycamores care home. When we last visited the friendly atmosphere and welcome at the home is always present. I am sure our cousin enjoyed the fireworks and the bonfire party Thank you to all. Care of the elderly is a very hard demanding job it takes a lot of love, care and dedication which I have witnessed and felt on our visits there. Thank you again to the manager and all the amazing staff at Sycamore's Leamington Spa. You are all much appreciated.
My husband is happy, the staff are lovely and very considerate. I don't feel uncomfortable spending time with my husband. The entertainemtn staff are very good.
My Dad has been in Sycamores for over 2 years now. The staff are very friendly and caring and professional in their roles of jobs. The upmost respect is given to him always, his needs and emotions are always looked after. They organise trips and weekly events which he goes to quite often although not as often as he used to , however is encouraged to participate in events but not forced. Everyone is so caring and kind and always make time in their busy days to talk and have a joke or two to him. The food , drinks and snacks are plentiful, lovely clean rooms and living spaces. His every need is adhered to even down to haircut, shave, and clean clothes always. The staff are very informative to us as a family always also. Highly recommended the Sycamores as a care home for your loved one
Another visit, and another chance to be impressed with the level of care and genuine kindess expressed by the staff at Sycamores care home. I thoroughly enjoyed the week long visit with my mother. She is quite content and I can tell she feels safe. Our private lunches in the dining area were wonderful. Thank you guys for all you do!
My first visit was very warm and friendly, it was home from home. The staff are very caring at all times and you can hear laughing with both carers and residents. This is more than a hotel, not a home. Also the safety is great and my time spent there is time out for me. I would stay all day if I could. They all from manager down to the staff are a great team.
My mum has been at the Sycamores for more than two years now. Her health is not as good as when she came in and now has to stay in bed. The care that she receives from the staff is excellent. They are very caring and patient with mum. They check on her regularly throughout the day the day and night. I am so pleased with the way they look after her.
my ccousin has been in sycamores for some time now and has always received the greatist of care from all of the staff, i think the staff go far and bejond all expectations, since being in the home she has improved dramatically , making friends and getting involved in cooking and quizzes etc.i am very pleased with her progress and the home overhaul.
My mum stayed at Sycamores for a week of respite care recently. We were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived and made to feel at home. The staff were very friendly and quick to provide everything in mum's room that was needed for her stay ie alarm mat, call buzzer and TV. They also made us a cup of tea to have in her room. I was invited to stay and have lunch with her and we both enjoyed the food and ate every bit! I left mum feeling very reassured that she would be well taken care of and was able to enjoy my break away without worry. They have a portal called Relatives Gateway which logs all the care that is received during the stay. I found this very reassuring to check in and see how she was doing. Sycamores is a very good and friendly care home I would recommend.
Excellent service. He was looked after with care and dignity at all times, and with lots of respect. He enjoyed his time in the home. Plenty of food and drinks as well as being kept busy.
"We are passionate about the people we care for" This Warwickshire Care Services statement is by the door at Sycamores & whenever I call in to see Mum I am reminded how lucky we are that she is one of the residents. Mum has lived at Sycamores for nearly 2 years now & she continues to receive exceptional care from all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble & they always have smiles on their faces & take their time to care for the residents, whether it is painting the residents' nails or doing quizzes or crosswords with them. A couple of weeks ago they held a cowboy-themed music event in the garden which was enjoyed by a lot of the residents who were singing along to a live band of talented Musicians. Thank you Sycamores, we really appreciate what you do!
Our aunt was very well looked after at The Sycamores. She had a very nice room that was kept clean. The staff and management were very kind and caring and treated her with dignity and love.
My Aunt was very happy at Sycamores. The management and staff were always very friendly and welcoming to residents and visitors. If there was a problem is was always sorted. Sycamores is a warm and friendly home. Nice and homely.
My husband was in Sycamores for 18 months before he died. He has dementia and could be very difficult but he was always treated with patience and kindness. In the last few weeks of his life, he had many problems but was always treated with dignity. Not only did the staff care for him they were also caring towards me and I am truly grateful for that.
The Sycamores Care Home was ideal for the period of respite and recovery that I needed to get strong enough to look after myself at home. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good. The gardens are well maintained and I spend many hours doing my exercises and physio workouts to improve my muscle and coordination. I would recommend this care home to anyone needing protection and a safe environment.
My mother is a resident at The Sycamores. On Wednesday 12th June, she and other residents went on a day trip to the seaside. This was a visit made in conjunction with the local bingo group from the local community centre. The reason for my email is to let you know what fantastic staff you have at The Sycamores. From the staff who made sure the residents were up, dressed, breakfasted and ready to go, to the staff who got residents safely on board the coach, to the staff supporting residents and their relatives on the trip and, last but not least, the staff welcoming us back to The Sycamores and greeting the residents with a welcome cup of tea. I never dared to dream that my mother, who has mobility issues, would ever be able to participate in such a day. The staff made what I thought impossible possible, and I will treasure this day.
Visited Mum in February for her birthday. I live abroad, so it was a short visit. The staff hosted just us for a lovely dinner. It was a memorable moment - and Mum was so proud to have her son visit. Overall the place seems to be run well and the staff are well suited and seem content with the work which creates a nice but also professional atmosphere.
Sycamore Home organised a trip to the coast last week and took a group of residents out for the day. It was the first time Dad had a trip out further from his home and Dad and I had a super time. Dad and I enjoyed the fresh sea air, fish and chips, ice cream and good company. We are looking forward to the next trip.
Mum has settled in, the staff are very kind and try as much as they can to look out for Mum's individual needs. She is enjoying the singing. It is reassuring for all the family to know she is safe and looked after. Thank you Sycamores.
From the first day Dad entered Sycamores Nursing Home, I noticed a drastic change in him. He now had company, people popping their heads into his room. He loves the activities laid on and trips. The staff are always smiling, happy and caring. He's able to have time out in his own room if needed. But, whatever he requires, the staff do their very best to accommodate. It's the best move I ever made, he is happy and that is the main thing.
