Westlands is a warm welcoming home. When you enter in the main entrance it looks very clean and a place that feels good. The home is ideal for my dad's needs as he is struggling with day to day living since a fall. My mother had Christmas Dinner with my dad and they spent Christmas day together
which was a much appreciated gesture. The staff are brilliant, they look after his needs and sometimes his 'being difficult' so well. We are very pleased with our experience to date.

My father is very settled and safe, he said the staff are very attentive to all his needs. His room is beautiful, all his familiar things around him, like home from home. Every time I visit I am very impressed with the care he receives and how well cared for he is which gives me a great peace of
mind. It takes a great deal of strain, worry and stress away from me. The staff always knows what my father is doing.
The staff are not only there to support my father, but us as a family too. The staff have become an extension of our family. This care home made my father feel welcome as soon as he arrives and supported him the loss of our beloved mother, his wife who passed away only a few weeks previously to him coming into the home. I have already booked a room for when I get to the stage when I am unable to care for myself.

My mum moved into Westlands Care home in August and she is very happy there. She tells me the food is great and the staff are really caring. There are activities on every day and she takes part in crafting, singing and cooking. Being at Westlands has definitely given her a better quality of life in
her latter years. The staff are always friendly when I go in and it gives me peace of mind knowing that they care about her.

My mum moved into Westlands a few months ago following a number of falls at home. From day one all of the staff have been amazing, they have made sure mum felt at home and nothing is ever too much trouble. If an issue does arise the staff are quick to deal with it .Mum is loving living there and
loves all the staff. We haven't seen mum so happy and content in many years. I would recommend Westlands to anyone that needs a care home.

I find wen I go to visit they're very friendly welcoming the staff no who you're visiting and say how they are at that time of day always say goodbye see you soon lot better than the one we looked at first thank you to the staff

My mum has been in westlands for about 5 months . And I've never seen my mum so happy . I was worried at first as my mum has always been independent within her self and always try not to put on others . But as her dementia is getting worse as a family found Westland a great home for our mum . The
staff are so friendly and always there to help . Also mum loves it there so Westland is one of the best homes iv ever seen well done guys keep up the good work .

I cannot recommend this care home highly enough. My husband has been in Westlands for 12 months now and the staff and management are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble for them - they are all friendly and caring. I feel I can speak to them with any concerns I have and they listen and deal with
them straight away
It is a big step putting your trust into such a residence but I would have no hesitation in recommending Westlands at what is such a difficult time for the whole family

Adult Social Services were excellent in finding mum a local care home in Rugby. The location is excellent, near to the centre of town and the train station. The building looks small from the outside but this is a big care home with ample living rooms for the residents on every floor. Staff at the
care home are friendly and very helpful. The management team will listen to your concerns and address them in a professional manner. The medical team always keep me updated with information. The care team do an amazing job and they treat residents like their own family. They work really hard and deserve a shout out. The building is clean and maintained very well and I am happy with all the facilities. Mum enjoys all the activities and loves it when there is a day trip or an outing scheduled. I would highly recommend this care home for your loved one.

My uncle who is 95 has been in Westlands just over a year. I can thoroughly recommend this care home as the staff are very attentive and he is getting the best care for his different needs. It has a very friendly atmosphere and always welcoming.

My Mum has been in Westlands for 18 months and I am more than happy with, and very impressed by, the care she receives there. She is the fifth member of the family over the last two decades (four long-term and full-time, and one in respite) to be under their care.
Her room is clean and looked
after. I know I can talk to any member of staff, including the manager, about any concerns and I will be phoned if there are any issues when I am out of town.
I can say every member of staff will say hello and smile when I arrive. And when I sit with Mum, they will come over and chat to her/us and she waves and smiles at them as they pass by looking after other residents. These may sound minor things, but it shows she is happy and secure, and they are a caring team. That tells me a lot.
If I was not more than happy with my Mum's safety, happiness and care there, she would not be in Westlands. They are a great and caring team, who keep her safe and happy and clean.

I've visited various friends over 26 years and this home beats all others I've experienced as a visitor or client. The recent upgrade is fabulous for dementia stimulation.
Staff have stayed for years and home is clean and food is 'comfort' favourite. I hope to end my days as a resident!

My mum moved into Westlands in December and she was welcomed with loving arms. Before I panicked about leaving my mum on her own despite her having carers throughout the day, now I can rest easy knowing she's well looked after and safe.

My Nan moved into Westlands in early December of 2024. She had dementia and was living on her own in her flat having three carers a day. She was not looking after herself, wasn't eating drinking or even having personal care, she was completely demotivated and was borderline malnourished. Since
living at Westlands Nan has gained 6kg in weight, she has trips in the memory maker bus, goes to the cafe nearly every day, joins in with activities and now has gained back her independence. The change in her is absolutely phenomenal, O want to say a huge thank you to every single staff member at Westlands from the Management Team, the Carers, Activity Coordinators to the housekeepers you are all amazing and we are eternally grateful for everything you have done and continue to do for my Nan.

Our Nan moved into Westlands three days ago and the difference I have seen in her already is incredible! The home is so cosy, homely and welcoming. The concierge is so friendly and professional. Nan was apprehensive at first but has got completely stuck in with socialising and spending time in the
cafe which before her dementia was her favourite pastime, Westlands have enabled her to be able to do this again. She thoroughly enjoys the community musician and cannot stop talking about him, she said she felt very special after a sing and dance with him. The home is clean and well kept and the facilities are brilliant. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone, the manager has been extremely supportive during this what could've been a tough time for the family but has made the transition simple and smooth, Thank you to all of you we can't wait to see what the future holds.

It’s with sadness my mum passed away on the 24th of April 2024 at Westlands Care Home. However I would just like to express my heartfelt thanks to every member of the care home team who played a huge part in caring for my mum.
Mum was at the home for 2 years and the care she received was of the
highest standard. Even through what must have been challenging times eg COVID / refurbishment the care and dedication shown by staff never faltered. My mum was happy and above all else safe which for her family's peace of mind meant everything. So thank you to you all, continue to do the fantastic work you do. The care sector is lucky to have you. Kind regards.

My mum's granddaughter recently passed away while I was out of the the country. Westlands Care Home were extremely helpful and supportive to mum (and me) during this time. A staff member attended the funeral with mum and I can't thank them enough for this support.

My mom has been in Westlands for 6 months and the overall experience has been very positive. The care and detail given to mom is very good and the staff carry out their duties in a professional and proficient manner. The pending decorations will enhance the image of Westlands and I see this as a
major benefit to staff and residents. Overall keep up the excellent work!

Since my mother arrived at Westlands during the height of Covid we have always been impressed with the friendly and sympathetic way that she has been cared for. We are always greeted with a friendly welcome from onwards to the lower floor, where the staff remain efficient and courteous.
