View Full Details of Wainfleet Care HomeMy husband and I visited our friend today at this lovely care home. As we walked into the reception area, we were greeted by a smiling friendly woman who showed us to his room. As we walked there I couldn't help but admire the pastel green walls and decor, creating a bright modern atmosphere. The rooms were clean, tidy and nicely furnished with a tv, wardrobe, bedside table, chairs and pretty pictures on the wall. The window looked out to some greenery. We were shown around the building by the same member of staff who initially greeted us. The dining room was light, airy and spacious and wwere then led to the lounge where several residents were relaxing watching tv. They all turned to say hello. The sofas and armchairs looked comfortable. There was no odour in the building and everything smelt fresh and clean. We were even offered a cup of tea or coffee. I sensed a lot of love from the carers and I could tell how happy the residents there looked. 10 out of 10
The staff are brilliant at their job and always make me feel welcome when I visit. They are all friendly and happy. The new management is making a lot of changes, decorating etc to brighten things up.It has put my mind at ease that my dad is being looked after well.
Best care home I've seen in the area. Staff is friendly and polite. It’s lovely and clean and very well-kept. Dignity is kept well and my mother-in-law is very happy. The food cooked is lovely and Mum enjoys it. They have very good routines and have a variety of things to do.
Having had a previous bad experience elsewhere, it was like a breath of fresh air in comparison. Staff were professional, friendly, helpful and showed empathy and understanding. In a pressured and demanding environment, staff were always willing to help, listen and find answers to any questions. I found everyone showed an understanding for the needs and requirements of the individual residents and did their utmost to ensure that everyone was treated with dignity and respect inclusive of visitors. When my friend sadly passed away, staff and management took the time to answer any questions that I had and helped me to sort things out during this sad and trying time.
My husband is in the home with dementia. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. They are always busy with residents. Having looked after my husband 24/7, I know how hard it is to keep the home clean and my husband and I think and know the home succeeds in this. The emails are excellent and always presented well. It's a very demanding job and the staff rise to each challenge remarkably.
My father-in-law is resident at the care home, he is very settled and well cared for by professional carers who do their job extremely well. Staff are welcoming, personable and very good at their job. People are caring and friendly. The food is fresh, well prepared and to a very good standard. I am so pleased that my father-in-law is well cared for and settled in the home. The room is a little tired and could benefit from a refurb. Theis is the only slightly negative comment that I would have.
When the time came to look at homes for my dad, it was suggested to visit several homes which I did and Wainfleet Care Home stood out by far. On our first visit, we were told we would become part of the family and how true that became. During his stay, dad has been treated with nothing but kindness and consideration. His health and mobility improved during his stay and dad was encouraged to join in the activities, initially reluctant on his part, but which he began to enjoy. I stayed with dad the few days before he passed away. The support and kindness of the staff to both dad and myself was a blessing. I cannot thank the staff enough for what they did for dad and our family during his stay and the last few days of his life. What an amazing, dedicated team.
All staff here are professionals in their own jobs. Smartly dressed, friendly, caring and concerned about all patients. They deserve to be cared for too and deserve any pay increase whenever possible.
My wife and myself enjoyed a very comfortable respite stay at this care home. All the staff were very pleasing and the home had a very happy atmosphere. We enjoyed all the delicious meals and our room was spacious and nice to have a carpet and tv. The corridors wee bright and sensory and we loved all the displays on the wall. We cannot fault this care home and cannot praise each member of staff in their roles highly enough. With our sincere thanks.
