View Full Details of Ashley CourtWhen I visit my sister her and her friends always looks forward to us coming the staff are quite friendly we all have a laugh and a joke.
My Mother recently moved into Ashley Court. She had been cared for at home for approximately four years but this became increasingly difficult as her health deteriorated. From our first visit to the home we have been impressed with the staff and their commitment to the residents. The home is warm, clean and cosy and staff are constantly engaged with residents. The dining room is inviting and there is a range of food for residents to choose from. This is particularly important for residents as eating is often a problem for people with dementia and was certainly a major concern for my Mother who refused to eat, over the past three months surviving on hot cross buns. Since been at Ashley Court she has eaten a wide variety of food and enjoys her meals. There are numerous activities residents can take part in and we are particularly impressed with the range of external services available within the home regular visits from medical professionals, chiropody and hairdressing.
Ashley Court provides exceptional care and a warm, welcoming environment that made a challenging transition much easier for the gentleman I cared for. From my initial inquiry to his final day, I have been consistently impressed by the dedication and genuine compassion of every member of staff. The entire team, from the manager and nurses to the care assistants and kitchen staff, go above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued and respected. The staff took great care to ensure his specific needs were met, always communicating any changes in his health proactively. Their attention to detail meant he always felt comfortable and secure. My friend particularly loved the gardening and music on offer! I will forever be grateful to the team at Ashley Court for providing a safe, happy, and caring home for my closest friend. I had such peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and kind hands.
My mother was a resident at Ashley Court until her recent death. I cannot sufficiently praise the management and staff there for their care of her. She was consistently treated with kindness and respect, despite the fact that her severe dementia must have made her challenging at times. Every effort was made to ensure that she was made to feel at home when she moved there and I was kept informed of her progress and wellbeing. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble and I have always been thankful that I chose Ashley Court.

All the staff here are wonderful, always willing to help with anything from any concerns to simply ensuring we have a good fun visit with family! The entertainer, is especially wonderful, constantly engaging all residents and encouraging them to join into group activities, and also has regular pampering sessions with all residents doing nails and hand massages. Two members of staff have both been amazing with helping with the decline of family members, always very supportive and informative, any questions or concerns are addressed immediately and we are informed straight away of any changes to nans health and medications. The manager is really good with all the residents and manages the home very well, she is always around for a chat whenever you need one and is very supportive of the family. Overall, this care home has been a fantastic place for Nan, they have cared and supported Nan and we as a family are very grateful for everything all the staff have done in this past year.
Dad arrived at Ashley Court 4 years ago. He certainly put the staff through some trying times!! However, the support and care has never been anything but 5 star for Dad. We thank the whole team at Ashley Court.
Having visited my sister numerous times. They interact well with the resident and do their best to keep them all occupied. Ashley Court is a nice residential home with a nice, friendly atmosphere.
My mother is very happy at Ashley court. The staff are very considerate and kind. She enjoys the entertainment that they work hard to provide. All medical needs are taken care of quickly and effectively.
Lots of activities throughout the month and lots of opportunities for the residents to participate. Care is at the front of everything that is done. Medical issues were taken care of promptly.
A nice friendly care home. Not to big, not to small. Easy parking for visitors. Clean with good atmosphere.
We're always made welcome when we visit. Everywhere always clean, friendly, helpful staff and management. Plenty of food & drink. A wide variety of activities for residents to take part in.
Thank you to all the staff for putting on an excellent party and supply of delicious assorted sandwiches and patisseries for my father-in-law's 100th birthday and for all the other care and attention he receives whilst in the home.
My mother has been a resident here for 18 months now. I am very pleased with the spacious, well-equipped room which is bright and airy and the care Mum receives. I no longer worry about her care, all the carers are friendly and professional and always make me feel welcome. The home is always calm, clean and well-organised. Mum is very happy here.
After initial reservations and a few unnecessary panics and worries my stepfather's stay was terrific. It was lovely, as a visitor to be welcomed with smiles, nothing too much trouble for anyone and everyone was so helpful. It was wonderful to see the improvement in my stepfather's mental and physical health. Thank you to everyone at Ashley Court.
My mother has been a resident at Ashley Court for 10 years and throughout this time has received fantastic care relevant to her needs. All the staff have been extremely caring and supportive to my mother and myself over the years. It has been extremely reassuring to me and other family members knowing the level of care being provided to my mother. At all times I have been fully informed of Mother's situation and needs.
Excellent, couldn't fault them at all. From when Mum went in, in April 2022 they have been amazing. They nursed Mum from Feb to March, all came in and saw her, made sure she was okay. We were in there every day and always made sure we were okay as well. I don't have anything negative to say at all.
I have been married to my husband for over 50 years. His is a complex case, not only dementia. He has brain damage and heart issues. He has had Autism from birth and displays the behaviour of a 2-year-old with little emotional development. He was devastated when his mother died. He was looking for her replacement. He has no experience of group living, no empathy, no sympathy with others and he sees the world differently. He is highly intelligent and can speak about perceived injustices. Because sometimes he can be very articulate, professionals believe what he says. I support the manager and her team 100%. With compassion and tact, they manage his compulsive hoarding and his frequent finding fault. They often accommodate his wishes just as his mother did. Bless them all!
All staff are caring and helpful, ensuring Mum has fresh drinks etc and always encouraging her to eat and drink (even though she often refuses). Visiting at any time of the day or night to help us. At all times, trying to make Mother comfortable.
My mum has recently had an operation, she came back to Ashley (her home for the last 6 years). The manager and assistant manager and all staff looked after Mum with great care and dignity. I can't thank them enough. They all work as a great team.
