View Full Details of Burlington Court Care HomeI can't imagine it is ever easy supporting a much loved relative make the move in to a care home but sometimes it is necessary. My dad moved in to Burlington two weeks ago and the support has been incredible. The managers ensured that the transition was as smooth and as quick as possible, which allowed him to settle in very well. My only wish for dad is that he is well looked after, his wishes are good food and nice people. We both have what we want at Burlington. It really is an amazing place and I am so happy that dad now lives there.
My father's care is excellent. The staff attend to his every need, washing, dressing, toiletry needs. His mobility has deterorated over the years but the staff help him on to his mobility scooter so he can visit the gardens. I would thoroughly recommend Burlington Court to anyone.
The care & support given to the residents & family are a credit to Burlington. The management is always available to speak to. You always receive a warm welcome from all the staff. The way my husband responds warmly to all the staff is more than I can ask for. I am so grateful he is at Burlington.
I would like to say thankyou to all the staff at Burlington Court they are all so kind and hard working, my Auntie is always happy when I visit she says the staff are lovely and she enjoys her food also the activities and outings that they go on she also enjoys having her hair done. My mum was also in Burlington Court and was so cared for and looked after, sadly she has now passed away but the care is brilliant thankyou to everyone
My partner suffers from Alzheimer's and has been a resident for over 4 years. The love, care, warmth, patience and compassion of the care and nursing staff during a very traumatic time for her deserves the highest praise and commendation. They have been and continue to be her angels and have gone beyond the call of duty to engage and comfort her especially during some of her darkest moments. Not forgetting the many other people that go to make up Burlington Court's army of caring staff, it takes special people to tend to the needs of the challenged and vulnerable and make them feel special. Thank you all for being there.
Our relative was transfered from hospital, however - he died soon after. We cannot praise enough the treatment he recieved while he was here. You did everything humanly possible our devoted thanks go out the members of staff there.
My mum moved into this wonderful home at the end of January 2025. The staff are all wonderful and are extremely caring towards residents and staff will answer any questions or concerns I may have. Mum loves been here and is very happy. Thankyou to everyone for looking after her and making her so happy. She has just celebrated her 101st birthday . Thanyou all again
My aunt was recently admitted to care at Burlington court. It is always daunting for a family when you have to place a resident in full time care. However, I would like to state all staff at this care facility have worked and continue to work hard looking after my aunt. On our recent visits she looked well cared for. She looked happy and even told us at 90 she was loving her time in Burlington Court. It can always be daunting as we are so far away that we do not know what to expect. The warmth and welcome from reception when we arrived went a long way to ease my mum's anxieties as she has not seen her sister in person for more than a year due to her limited ability to travel so far. Mum was reassured that her sister was in safe hands It is not an easy task the staff have but they all appear to go above and beyond the call of duty to provide first class service to all the residents. The staff work really hard caring and keeping the facility clean.
The staff here are lovely and always have time for my mum. She was in two hospitals and another care home in Northampton where she ate the same food every day due to her dementia we thought that was it! Then she arrived at Burlington Court, where she was greeted with a smile (and still does every day). The staff have gently encouraged her to try different foods, and amazingly, after 2.5 years, she has now started eating better foods - only a few things, but we are so pleased she is thanks to the staff who care for her. My dad is welcomed every day and given a cup of tea when he visits. Nothing is too much trouble, some of the staff sit with her for a chat, which we think is lovely, and she enjoys even though she doesn't always remember, they still go in and have a natter with her! Very, very important to us! Well done everybody, we really appreciate your time and care for our Mum. All staff top to bottom great team.
The staff were extremely caring and went beyond the call of duty to ensure my husband felt valued, safe and cared for during his terminal illness. I can't thank them highly enough. The nursing staff and management were exceptional in their care.
The experience of visiting my relative, towards the end of their life, was made bearable and pleasant because of the excellent care and attention they received. Without exception, all of the staff members I encountered during my visits demonstrated a friendly attitude, professionalism and commitment. Thank you to them for caring for my relative with kindness, understanding and an approach that showed respectful and gentle regard for their dignity and humanity.
Having reviewed several residential accommodations to suit my mothers needs back in 2021, Burlington Court Care Home was the most suited. It has not disappointed since then with the level of care, support and dedication shown by the team being very impressive. My mother now feels very settled and 'at home' here and is very happy in the environment provided.
From day one, my husband and myself have felt that we are part of a large, loving family. He is receiving palliative care so I visit every day and we are always treated with respect, kindness and patience. We always hoped that we wouldn't need to go to a care home but needn't have worried, it's an amazingly happy home. We praise God for the blessings we receive at Burlington Court Care Home and the extra weeks of life together which the nursing care here has and is providing.
My late husband was taken to Burlington Court Care Home on 11th April from hospital. He passed away very peacefully on 20th April 2024. The care he received was wonderful in every way, they also looked after my son and myself extremely well and made everything that little bit easier to bear. We would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.
My father has been in Burlington for the past year. The staff (carers) are second to none, their dedication and commitment to the patients is non-stop. Dad had a great relationship with them all but a few he really warmed to. We have moved but only because we live at the other end of town and my mum likes to visit every day, I’m really worried we have called it right just wishing we could have took the carers with us (sorry). I can’t thank you all enough. The only reason I gave 4 was the smell of urine really got down me and Dad contributed to that, I think carpets are awful in this situation but understand the safety of slipping too. Food five star and cups of tea, cakes on demand and they always included Mum when she wanted anything. Thank you, everyone.
Communication is good within the care home and we are regularly provided with updates. The staff all seem to really care and want to engage with the residents. We love to see the activities that regularly take place.
Lovely caring staff. Always happy and very helpful. The manager you can talk to and express any problems "Home from Home". Events and newsletters to inform everyone.
I have noticed a slight loss in standards since my husband went into the care home four years ago. The bedding is not the best and sometimes the bed is left unmade when I have visited. The main problem seems to be with the laundry. We are told to label all the resident's clothing but despite doing this, a large number of my husband's clothing has gone missing and never been found, I am constantly replacing socks and a couple of jumpers, anorak and shoes have never been found. The carpet in the reception area and stairs leading to the first floor really need cleaning or replacing, I cannot fault the care that my husband has received and he seems very happy there. The staff are always very friendly and seem to enjoy their work which cannot be easy.
My father has been resident at Burlington Court Care Home for almost 4 years now and the family and he, have been very pleased with the choice to move here. It's a really friendly place, you can't walk through without everyone saying Hello, with a smile. The care staff cater for all Dad's care needs and the activities team are always coming up with new ideas of things to do. There's always trips out either for a pub lunch, a walk in the park, or further afield to the coast. Many of the staff go that extra mile and is greatly appreciated.
We could not have wished for better care for our mother during her last few weeks. The staff were caring and attentive at all times. Mum was treated with the upmost of respect by all the staff during her time there. Our thanks go to all staff for their professionalism, and understanding.
