View Full Details of Sutton Manor Residential HomeMy aunty has been looked after really well and recuperated well. She's been looked after with respect & dignity. All the staff are very friendly & helpful & have good banter with the residents. She likes it so much that part of her doesn't want to go home. The actual building & outside decking area is lovely, clean & modern.
My Mum spent 8 weeks at Sutton Manor, whilst she recovered from surgery. We, as a family had no experience of Care Homes, so our expectations were modelled on what we thought they were like. We were all blown away with the care, consideration and compassion that was shown to my mum. She had a great time, and loved her time there. The food was great, and as my mum is a fussy eater, she asked them to cook different meals for her. This was done without hesitation. All the staff went the extra mile daily, nothing was too much trouble, they work so hard. One particular staff member encouraged mum to join in the activities, she loved it, and her confidence grew to the point she has come home a different person. I can highly recommend Sutton Manor to anyone, whether it's for long term or short term stays. It's a happy Care Home, where staff clearly adore the residents and want the best for them. I hope my Mum will be able to go back to stay for respite in the near future.
After a slow start, have warmed to the experience and appreciate the positive help from the carers and the activities coordinator.
Polite staff, great activities and opportunities for all.
Enjoy all the care and social side of life here. Mum has made an effort to mix and join in all the activities and has made her feel happy and give her some focus and joy. You have given my mum, good positive outlook and more choices. Her meals have been enjoyed and she's been encouraged to eat more! Thank you and all our love x
Enjoyed joining the activity, lovely food, company and staff were amazing. Really enjoyed the activity man help with other residents and help washing up.
I am really happy with the way my friend is cared for here. She is far more alert and engaged and now moves around without mobility and whilst in the home. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. Entertainment throughout the day is great and my friend freely joins in. I wouldn't have my friend anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff.
We've seen such a positive change to dad's demeanour since he moved into Sutton manor. Despite not being able to see & being hard of hearing he has quickly fitted in to the social life of the home. He joins in & enjoys most of the activities arranged with a bit of help & loves a good sing song. Dad looks well looked after & eats well. There are a couple of things would make life even better for dad; firstly, if more carers could learn how to attach his prosthetic leg effectively (it is difficult), this would give him more confidence & secondly ensuring that dads skin is thoroughly creamed every day to combat his dry skin. Notwithstanding these comments, we are happy & more importantly dad is happy in the home.
Happy with everything in the home. Enjoyable stay.
On arriving at the care home, I couldn't even walk more than a few steps- they had encouraged me to do better which I have. The staff have been very helpful and kind. The entertainment during the day cheerful and happy led by a pleasant gentleman who must have an active mind to come up with some of the things he gets us to do.
I have been very happy staying here. The staff have been very good and helpful. One member of staff in particular kept us very good and kept us busy.
My stay has been most enjoyable. Where I've met lots of nice friends, staff work very hard. Food and activities very good.
My father has been with you for only 4 weeks for respite care after a hospital visit. I have witnessed nothing but total care and compassion for my father at all times. I would have no hesitation in recommending your home to anyone. You have all been superb, thank you.
Mum was transferred to Sutton Manor straight from hospital for rehabilitation after having a hip replacement operation. From the moment that Mum arrived, she was welcomed really warmly into the Sutton Manor family and so was I and my brothers. We were always greeted by name, which was much appreciated and invited to join in with the many activities, if we were around. The activities were very varied and good fun. The carers were compassionate and very hardworking. The manager and deputy manager always made time for a chat and always did their very best to respond to any requests, despite their demanding workloads. The rehabilitation co-ordinator was very efficient, supportive and encouraging. We knew she shared our goals. The meals were all home cooked and looked delicious. I would certainly recommend Sutton Manor and applaud the leadership team for creating such a caring and stimulating place for their residents. We are very grateful to everyone who works there.
My Mother was very well looked after in terms of both physical well-being and activities to keep her brain stimulated. She was very happy in the home. The management and staff always took time to talk to her and visitors.
This is her second respite care visit. I would not take her anywhere else. She loves it here—the company, the care, the stimulation, the food, and her room. I have total confidence in this care placement.
The staff at Sutton Manor are very approachable and helpful in all aspects. They are always welcoming and ready to listen.
Sutton Manor is fantastic and very pleasant staff. Would recommend it to anyone. 5 stars!
My mother has been in here for 5 and half years. She is 94 years old, still going strong and recovers from all problems with the staff being amazing. I think she would not be here now but with the constant care/work from staff and management keeping her in the way she used to be.
I have never broken a bone in my life and only been in hospital to give birth to my children. I have found this home wonderful. It has the standard of a good hotel. Lovely clean and decorated rooms. All my friends and family are very impressed. The food is excellent with great choice. I think a nursing home is the quality of the staff and I would say the staff are absolutely excellent. Their care and kindness are the very best possible. They are wonderful and give 100% to everyone. I am grateful to all.
