What a fantastic place Laburnum House is. My mother has been a resident there for almost 4 weeks and I cannot believe how quickly she has settled in (she is not the most co-operative person !!!). This is solely down to the manager and staff who are absolutely amazing. When myself and my
husband first went to view Laburnum House we were told that "it was a family" and my goodness they were right. The whole place is immaculate, the food given is first class and everybody is treated with respect Nothing is too much trouble and I was astonished to be treated like family myself. I had many sleepless nights worrying about where my mother might go after she could no longer look after herself. I am now so reassured knowing that she is safely being cared for and enjoying her twilight years. I really didn't realise that places like Laburnum House existed. Well done Edelyn and all the staff.

Lovely, caring place, staff are always welcoming and attentive, happy always see my grandma always cared for happy and well looked after.

Mum was only very recently admitted into Laburnum House, after extensive enquiries into different care homes. From the first moment we arrived, I cannot praise the staff and manager enough. Every single member came over to introduce themselves and take time to chat warmly with mum. We definitely
made the right choice.

I have visited Laburnum House many times over the last 8 years. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and take excellent care of the residents. I cannot think of any reason why I would not give this home an excellent review.

My mother is now in her 8th year at Laburnum, over which time we have always been more than happy with the loving care that she receives, not only from the carers but all members of staff. Over this time my mother's dementia has progressed to a point that she no longer really recognises me bit when
she sees any of the staff her face lights up with the biggest smile and always want a cuddle and kiss from them. Due to personal circumstances, I am in the process of moving a considerable distance from her but with the knowledge that my mum will be more than well cared for and loved at Laburnum. IF you are looking for a lovely home for a loved one, I would highly recommend visiting and considering Laburnum for that place.

Laburnum House is an amazing place, warm, friendly from all the staff. Always welcoming and nothing to much trouble, I have another family member in a local home and never feel as safe an environment for my grandma.

My father has really enjoyed his stay at Laburnum House. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. He has really appreciated his accommodation and provision of care. He has particularly liked the food provided. His time here has been very beneficial and he is very thankful for the hard work of
all the staff.

Laburnum House is a very welcoming environment. The staff are professional, kind, patient and have a sense of humour. They treat residents with respect e.g. ensuring curtains are drawn when getting changed etc, that guests are not in the general main room for meal times etc. They try to give homely
touches to residents rooms. At a recent BBQ it was great to see a real range of guests including children and animals. It was nice to see families of the staff. You feel that they all genuinely like and get along well with each other. They have treated our parents with kindness and dignity.

Both myself and my husband have always found everyone to be very caring and have always treated my mother-in-law with dignity.
Cannot think of a better care home that she could be in, she is in the best place.

Extremely welcomed by all staff who have a lovely, friendly and caring nature. They each take time and have patience with every resident. They all work hard as a team and are always polite. Every request made is dealt with. The home is always clean, and the maintenance staff work hard. Residents are
encouraged to participate in activities but are also allowed 'quiet' time if preferred.

My nan has been at Laburnum house for 12 weeks, we cannot fault the care she has received or the communication us as a family receive, She has settled amazingly thanks to the patience and dedication.

My mum has been at Laburnum House for 6 months she has received excellent care while being here, nothing is too much trouble. Friendly and approachable management and staff. All care issues have been discussed promptly with the family. All questions are answered with knowledge and sympathy. I would
recommend this care home to family and friends.

My mother has now been here 5 months. We have visited at least four times a week and have always been extremely satisfied with the care she is receiving and the dedication of the staff to their roles. We have experience of care home with other relatives and this is the best by far.
