My father's care in the home is exceptional. He is well looked after and cared for. The staff are excellent, he is always being interacted with. He always looks smart, shaved, and hair brushed. They often do activities to stimulate them. I couldn't ask for anything better for him.

My husband has been in Cawood House for just over a year. He has settled in well. The staff are great with him. When I arrive at the home, the staff are very welcoming. It was our diamond wedding anniversary last year, and they put on a family party for us, also his 90th birthday, we were thrilled.

The level of care is well beyond expectations. All our family are so pleased with how well our loved one has settled into care. The staff all across the facility are genuine caring people and work always as a team keeping mum safe. Without this home, she would have lost her dignity and struggled to
live.

My father has been in Cawood House for over a year now and the best compliment I can pay is that he now sees it as his home and feels both safe & comfortable with all members of the team. In difficult circumstances there still remain the opportunity for him to smile and have fun. Thanks for looking
after him!

Sometimes the less said is better. I've got nothing but 100% respect for the angels who always wear a smile! Not seen my Mum look so healthy and happy for a while.

Knowing that my father is safe, fed and well cared for removes any anxiety I have about his wellbeing. It's not the cleanest or cosmetically the best place but that does not matter because it's not as important as having great staff with great leadership that have the interests of my father front of
mind. The staff do a fantastic job in what is a very challenging role.

All the staff are always very helpful and pleasant - I realise its a very hard job but the staff are always smiling. Every time I visit its great to see my mum up and about and happy in her surroundings. Can't fault the place.

My sister is very frail with complex needs and medical issues and also has mild learning difficulties. She needs 24 hour care now due to being a sever falls risk. From the minute she went to Cawood House she was made welcome by the lovely manager and her caring staff team. There is a happy, friendly
and relaxed atmosphere at Cawood. The staff provide excellent care 24/7. My sister has her own individual care plan which was shown to us, highlighting all her needs and requirements and demonstrating that all her needs are met. She is very happy and settled at Cawood House. Highly recommend.

Dad has been in Cawood since the end of December 2024. He has taken the transition very well. He always looks well-presented and happy whenever we visit him.
It has just been my parent's 60th wedding anniversary and we were unsure whether to mark it with Dad as we didn't want to confuse him. We
were actively encouraged to mark it and Mum was asked to come and have lunch with Dad.
They had a private lunch in the 'pub' at Cawood.
The staff had arranged a cake and there was a card and chocolates for my mum from dad which they had sorted along with a cake.
It was just the most special day. We took their wedding day album, so Dad could look back at it to help him remember.

I came to visit my nana for her 93rd birthday and Cawood House had put on a buffet for her. I think the place and staff are fabulous and feel lucky that my nana is here.

Such a fantastic care home. Really puts me at ease and no worries about my mum. Also residents are superb can't thank the staff enough.

My wife has settled really well in this first month. I am happy with the care she is receiving and feel she is well looked after. All the staff are pleasant and seem to have got to know her quite well.

Excellent home, Mum passed away recently and witnessed how much care love care, and devotion the manager and her team of cares give the residents. They are special people. My sister and I can't thank them enough. It made her passing so much easier to deal with.

Mum has been in Residential Care for 4 months now. The carers at Cawood are all exceptional. They are friendly, caring, polite and always make you feel welcome and part of the home. The manager is great, she has a lot of her team that have been working there for a number of years which is a good
sign of a dedicated team who all work well together. I couldn't be any happier with the care Mum receives from them.

My mother is getting the love and kindness a family member would give. I would recommend Cawood House to anyone looking for care. They have challenges like any other care home but seem to dal with these in a structured and professional manner.

We are very happy with all aspects of the care that Mum receives. The staff are very welcoming and treat Mum with love and respect. Her needs are met and she is treated with dignity and care.
All the staff are amazing and work together to create a relaxed atmosphere. The management team are very
hands-on and show dedication in their various responsibilities. The care is amazing and the activities are such good fun.

Cawood House is in my opinion an outstanding care home. My mother has now been in their care for 2.5 years and I have seen first-hand how professional and caring all the staff are who support my Mum, and all the residents. Communication is excellent and I feel reassured every time I visit that my
mother is loved, and her interests well cared for and I can definitely sleep more easily at night!

Mum has been here for a year now and has settled really well. That is down to the care given by every member of the team. I cannot fault them and know Mum is happy and content, I couldn't ask for more.
