I was worried when the time came/a him to go into a home. However when my daughter and I came to see the home. We were very happy. The staff were very welcoming and had time to talk to us. Since he came he seems to have settled in well. I'm looking forward to sitting in the garden.

Dad has been in Cawood since the end of December 2024. He has taken the transition very well. He always looks well-presented and happy whenever we visit him.
It has just been my parent's 60th wedding anniversary and we were unsure whether to mark it with Dad as we didn't want to confuse him. We were
actively encouraged to mark it and Mum was asked to come and have lunch with Dad.
They had a private lunch in the 'pub' at Cawood.
The staff had arranged a cake and there was a card and chocolates for my mum from dad which they had sorted along with a cake.
It was just the most special day. We took their wedding day album, so Dad could look back at it to help him remember.

I came to visit my nana for her 93rd birthday and Cawood House had put on a buffet for her. I think the place and staff are fabulous and feel lucky that my nana is here.

Excellent home, Mum passed away recently and witnessed how much care love care, and devotion the manager and her team of cares give the residents. They are special people. My sister and I can't thank them enough. It made her passing so much easier to deal with.

Mum has been in Residential Care for 4 months now. The carers at Cawood are all exceptional. They are friendly, caring, polite and always make you feel welcome and part of the home. The manager is great, she has a lot of her team that have been working there for a number of years which is a good sign
of a dedicated team who all work well together. I couldn't be any happier with the care Mum receives from them.

My mother is getting the love and kindness a family member would give. I would recommend Cawood House to anyone looking for care. They have challenges like any other care home but seem to dal with these in a structured and professional manner.

We are very happy with all aspects of the care that Mum receives. The staff are very welcoming and treat Mum with love and respect. Her needs are met and she is treated with dignity and care.
All the staff are amazing and work together to create a relaxed atmosphere. The management team are very hands-on
and show dedication in their various responsibilities. The care is amazing and the activities are such good fun.

Cawood House is in my opinion an outstanding care home. My mother has now been in their care for 2.5 years and I have seen first-hand how professional and caring all the staff are who support my Mum, and all the residents. Communication is excellent and I feel reassured every time I visit that my mother
is loved, and her interests well cared for and I can definitely sleep more easily at night!

Mum has been here for a year now and has settled really well. That is down to the care given by every member of the team. I cannot fault them and know Mum is happy and content, I couldn't ask for more.

My brother is clean and well cared for. Even though he can become anxious during washing and shaving. The staff are friendly and approachable and the centre is warm and comfortable.

The Cawood House team are very welcoming and caring. My father in law is well cared for and is settled and happy there. The activities and outings are varied and everyone's needs are well catered for. As relatives, we are kept up to date with his welfare.

My wife has been at Cawood six months now, she’s settled into everything very well. Every time I visit, I come away happier.
All the staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My wife now looks on them as family and is happy to be left with them whenever I have to leave.
The activities
that are going on are not just for the residents, but involve families and friends all the time.
I cannot think of any better place for my wife to be.

I can honestly say my dad is happy and content at Cawood House. As a child of a dementia sufferer, the guilt of leaving your parent in care is huge. From day one, the staff at Cawood have assured and reassured me Dad is in the safest of hands. He receives care we as a family could only have hoped for.
We will be eternally grateful to everyone at Cawood for caring for my dad with kindness and respect.
