Staff are supportive of my parent and all the issues that dementia carries.

Both my brother and I are really happy with the care my mum has received since being here. She has not been the easiest resident and I know it has taken her a considerable time to settle, I appreciate her dementia has dramatically increased but she is treated with dignity and has a great
relationship until the carers who looked after her. Overall we are really happy and I know my mum is safe and receiving the best care possible.

I and my family have enjoyed visiting dad, we have always had a warm welcome as if we are part of a big family. All staff are always friendly and happy. We are pleased with dads overall care and he is very happy here. The facilities are all excellent couldn't wish for more. Dads room is always very
clean and his laundry done regularly. All in all everything is excellent knowing dad is the best he can be and is happy at Wellcroft is what matters most to us.

Where to start - this is the most exceptional 'home from home'. The environment is very welcoming, the staff are warm and helpful. The areas are kept spotlessly clean and it smells lovely too. It is obvious that all the staff have been 'selected' to provide a relaxed and comforting ambience to the
residents and visitors. No matter what day or what time I have visited my overall impression is, 'this is somewhere you can entrust your loved ones to be 'cared' for to the highest standard.' My friends room is spotless and she is very happy and relaxed. She said the food is lovely too.

Since mum came to Wellcroft mum has had a reasonable invitation. The staff we have met are very food/friendly and knowledgeable when dealing with mum. She has had a few difficult times but the staff have handled her confidently and with a lot of humour which has helped. ON the whole a positive
experience for Hilda at this most difficult and confusing time for her.

I visit weekly and from entering to leaving the staff are so friendly and efficient. They tend to the residents as though they are their own family. The home is clean throughout with various rooms and a lovely garden area to either share or have privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My father has been here almost 12 months after moving him from a more expensive home with very good facilities but which he could not make use of and we think it is the best thing we could have done. The staff here are caring, endlesly patient and we are very happy and relatively, I think my dad is
too.

Overall opinion is good. Not been many activities lately due to having no Alf for a long time but hopefully will improve when new Alf starts. Always kept fully informed of dad's situation. Seniors happy to answer or discuss any issues.

I am pleased that my father is now residing at Wellcroft Care Home. I visit most days and I am impressed with the way the establishment is run. Importantly the staff are ever helpful, caring and extremely professional in undertaking their tasks. It is because of knowing my father is being well
looked after that I can take comfort from him not being at his own home. Wellcroft has become a better environment than he had due to the quality of the people who work there.

My mum has been a resident in Wellcroft over 6 years. She has been very happy here, staff are caring and considerate of her needs, and will always take time to listen to and act upon any family concerns. As her dementia has progressed, appropriate adjustments have been made to support her, and as a
family we have been happy with the care she has received to date.

During his stay he has always been treated with respect and great care (even when he is difficult). Even the housekeeping staff look after his well-being during their tasks. The activities are usually tailored to the periods he recalls.

My review really must be seen. Wellcroft is a dreadful place for your loved ones to be left in. The place smells, residents are humiliated and abused and have their belongings taken from them, my dad was dressed in his deceased wife's clothes and paraded around in women's diamonte glasses - he was
94 years old. The staff do not care you raise a query and they are rude and abusive towards you especially the Senior Carers, the Management Team are completely disrespectful and do not care. Borough Care themselves do not care and ignore any requests for help. My father was completely let down and neglected with regard to Doctors appointments and any health enquiries I raised. I asked for the Doctor to be called on 2 occasions which were both ignored and the Senior said "I was busy and forgot". My dad did not deserve to be treated in the manner in which he was he was a beautiful and kind person with respect for everyone he met. Wellcroft showed him no respect whatsoever.

Having moved my mum from another care home into Wellcroft in March, I was hoping she would settle in her new surroundings without any stress etc. I didn't need to have worried she settled immediately thanks to the caring staff who made her feel welcome from day 1. I am happy she feels at home at
Wellcroft.

My father ended up in hospital, hospital reports neglect by care home.social worker informed, now looking for a care home.who will treat him with dignity and care.new management dismissive when told about hospital doctors and nurses concerns basically couldn't care less.my concerns it will be
happening to other residents and the very few good carers there will leave,because they see what is happening.

Wellcroft is a bright well care home and the staff seem to make a considerable effort to treat the residents with respect and affection.

Have dealt very professionally with a couple of issues we have raised over the last 12 months.
A particular staff member has been fantastic and very supportive in helping my Mum deal with her mobility deteriorating.
I feel my Mum is safe in the care home.

Absolutely great service from all staff. I would recommend people put this place as their first choice. The food is excellent, the residents have plenty of snacks, tea and coffee in between meals and when families are visiting they are offered drinks and snacks. I can't praise the staff enough.

My mum seems as happy as she can be. The carers are friendly, understand my mum's needs and are attentive to those and and are open to me asking a couple of questions now and again. I also like the way Wellcroft do a little a bit extra for things such as recently for Halloween. I understand security
is very important, but I wish there was an easier way to get in/out of the building when I visit as sometimes I may be waiting for up to 10 minutes; however I do understand staff are busy and that I tend to call in early evenings when there is less staff about (an idea might be individual passcodes for frequent visitors such as myself, whereby you'd also know when I arrived/left). On the non-care admin side, appreciation to a staff member for her timely assistance when needed.
