My mother has been a resident at the home for five-years. The staff are friendly, attentive to my mother's needs and professional. There is also consistency with limited turnover of staff, which is unusual in this sector.
The home's manager arranges social events and entertainment for the
residents and their families. My mother recently celebrated her birthday and the staff decorated her room, sent cards and provided balloons and a birthday cake. They then gathered to sing 'Happy Birthday'. This extra effort is greatly appreciated by me and the family.
A well led and well run care home.

Went today to visit my neighbour who has recently been given a placement. She looks really well, clean and tidy. She told me that she "loves it" where she is. The manager and staff all very friendly and couldn't do enough. My neighbours husband is so happy that she is settled and well cared for.
Excellent home.

In April, I visited a friend at Acacia Court, she is now a resident there. I was greeted warmly by a member of staff and took me to see my friend, soon after I was offered tea and biscuits when the residents had their afternoon cuppa. All the residents seemed happy and content, having good
interaction with the staff, who all had a sense of humour and amazing dialogue with each person. I experienced laughter and fun, this seems to be the very essence of the home. Great staff and manager. Would recommend.

My Aunt, with dementia has been in respite care for the last few weeks in Acacia Court and the difference the Manager and staff have made to her have been honestly remarkable! She has gone from being a very agitated and angry lady to a very happy and contented one, loving dancing and interacting
with other residents. Dementia is a horrible disease but we can't believe the quality of life she's found in Acacia Court despite her illness. This is all down to Lyndsay who is amazing and the lovely staff. They treat the residents as family and individuals and go above and beyond in making them feel at home and happy and making their lives as normal as possible, even trips to a cafe and shopping! I couldn't wish for a better place for her to be and she hasn't asked about her own home once in her time there! Thank you for giving my uncle the peace of mind knowing she is happy and well taken care of. Thank you Lyndsay, you are a very special person!

Court.

Mum is very comfortable and is living in a lovely environment. Carers and management go full out to ensure residents are looked after to a high level, food is always delicious and what the residents specifically want. A high standard of individual care to everyone and their guests.

We find all the staff really helpful and professional. The chef creates great meals for the residents and Lyndsay the manager does a fantastic job in her role ensuring all standards are constantly met.
In all, the care home in my opinion is run and cared for by people who really are about the
residents.

Mum has just gone into Acacia Court for some much needed respite. I initially visited here with my daughter to take a look around, we found the management team of Lyndsey and Gul to be very welcoming and made us feel that they would give mum the care that she needed. We were shown around the
building and were able to choose mums room ourselves. We left feeling that this would be an ideal place for mum and her needs.
We took mum there a couple of days later and she loved the place, she loved her room and settled in quickly. We only met 2 or 3 staff but they were all lovely, both male and female, very professional but it was clearly all natural, they were all lovely towards my mum. I returned again the next day to check on mum and found her sat in the lounge with a smile on her face, she even asked if she could stay there permanently. That was such a relief to here. Admittedly shes only been there a couple of days but the future is looking positive. Thank you to everyone. 5 stars.

Mum has had outstanding care from all the staff including cleaners, catering, carers (day and night shift) and managers while she has been unwell with flu. Mum required an A&E dash but was brought home by family the same late evening to wonderful staff who were genuinely concerned and made mum
comfortable. Mum had to stay in her room for a week and was looked after to the highest standard. The family thank everyone.

My husband and myself live aboard but visit my mum who lives in Southport every year .
On my visit in the summer this year mum had declined in health and got diagnosed with dementia. The doctor advise for mum to go into care asap. My brother who lives Southport searched care homes for mum to go
into and found excellent reviews on acacia court. I have now been back to visit mum in October for her birthday and is now a resident at Acacia court. We found the manager Lyndsey so lovely so helpful
A special thankyou to Donna the care worker such a lovely person. I am pleased mum is now in a good secure clean environment. Thank you

My mum in law is knew and has settled in and been treated well
Staff have been very helpful.
The hard part is that my mother keeps saying she is not getting food or drinks, but obviously from our visits this is not the case. The carers are so helpful

Since arriving at Acacia Court in late December 2024, my elderly mum has flourished and honestly looks years younger. She has been in ill health for years and came to the home permanently after a particularly long stay in Hospital and honestly the improvement is staggering. She was unable to walk or
stand up - she is now shuffling about the place with her walker again. She was unable to do anything except sit and doze, she's now back reading countless books, doing her puzzles, taking an interest in life again and knitting and crocheting for the Annual Summer Fair! Its all testament to the lovely care environment she is in. The staff are all positive, proactive, and friendly and they care about their residents. She is extremely well looked after, is 'fed and watered' with a huge variety of meals. Her meds are issued properly; hygiene, health and general wellbeing monitored too. I cannot praise the management and staff enough and would highly recommend this home to people considering.
