A relative of mine has recently become a resident at Florence Grogan House. The staff are very caring and friendly. Everywhere is spotless, food is good.
I definitely recommend Florence Grogan House as an excellent care home.

Mum has been in the home for 3 years and is settled and happy.
The staff are always friendly, respectful and patient with both myself and mum. Any queries are always dealt with efficiently, with mum's wellbeing at the heart of everything.

Jackie is always very happy, she loves her carers, they are very supportive and show her love and care. I visit once per week, always greeted with a cuppa and a catch up on how she is.

From the beginning, my cousin was treated with great care. A most welcoming atmosphere throughout the home. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help anyone.
The rooms are lovely, and everywhere is exceptionally clean. The food is good, and lots of activities going on for the residents.
I would definitely recommend Florence Grogan House, it's such a happy environment.

My mother is genuinely cared for and supported every day which has brought our whole family peace of mind.
Family always feel listened to.
Staff compassion shines through in everything they do, and we're truly grateful for the care they provide.

When I came to visit my mum recently, the staff were very welcoming as always. Mum was very happy and content, and was clean and tidy, which is very comforting to see. The staff work very hard to make sure the smooth running of the home and that residents are happy. The home appears to have a
brilliant management team, which reflects on the staff. Which is always good to see. Staff only perform if treated fairly and with respect.

My father in law has been a resident for a few years now & absolutely loves living here. We were worried about him being transferred to a home but wow were we wrong because he's living his best life. He loves all the staff & they love him. The events & activities are made to cover every
residents needs & interest. Relatives & friends are welcome to join in as well which is always fun. All in all it's a 100/100 for us! X

Respite care for my mother in law has been exceptional Florence Grogan house has been nothing short of amazing from staff to cleanliness of the home is fabulous my mother in law with dementia thinks she is staying in a hotel a great comfort to my partner who was the sole carer for her mother we are
both very happy with the care my mother in law is receiving

Can't comment on management, food and drink, activities and value for money. No experience of these.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care that my aunt received during her time at Florence Grogan. The manageress runs this home with impeccable professionalism which ensures that all residents are looked after in the most safe and compassionate way. It is a very homely environment which made it so
much easier for my aunt to leave her own home. The manageress ensured that her family were included in every process and were always treated with such friendliness. I will always be grateful for my aunt receiving the very best of care which made me feel totally content that she was totally safe and happy.
A very big thank you to the excellent manageress and all her hard working and caring staff. You all do such a wonderful job.

Everyone is welcoming.My mum has been at the home for nearly 2years and has always been well looked after, they have many activities that the residents can attend and enjoy, they have outings, disco's, birthday parties for residents to celebrate. Plus much much more. From cleaners to cooks to nursing staff each member of the team are outstanding within their rolls at the home. All residents are always happy. I know my mum is always looked after and never have to worry.

Excellent experience. Kindness, courtesy, thoughtfulness. I was impressed with how the more 'difficult' residents were respected and treated. There was a great 'informal' but very professional attitude. Standards are very high. Food excellent. Respectful atmosphere.

Overall a very pleasant experience. The staff are all helpful and pleasant, they go beyond just doing a job, they are all willing to go that extra mile to provide good care and help to residents and guests alike. Not just a job but dedication. Management is excellent.

I was really apprehensive about my 96 year old dad going into a care home when he could no longer care for himself at home. I needn't have worried because the care he receives is exceptional. The staff are all very professional, well led by an excellent management team.

My mum is looked after with the best care from all the staff. Her room is immaculate, and we as a family are very happy with the care she receives. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and very professional at all times. We even get a lovely cuppa when we visit.

When I walk into Florence Grogan you feel at home. All the staff including management make me feel welcome. The home smells clean and all the residents who I speak to are very happy. My ex husbands Nan has been in Florence Grogan since November 2023 and I can honestly say I've never seen her so
happy. When I come to visit the staff offer my a hot drink and can not do enough. The care staff are so attentive to all the residents which is amazing to see.

I find most of the staff pleasant and polite but there is an exception. I visit a lady who is elderly and she is very happy with the care she receives but will always say that the majority of carers (staff) are good with her and have time for her but there are exceptions.

My dad became a resident of Florence Grogan House after a number falls at the beginning of this year. I find the staff to be caring and friendly and treat my dad with dignity. They took the time to understand his needs and make him welcome. The managers have been very generous with their time and
have helped me through the process. Thank you.
