From entering the home to leaving, excellent. Caring and diligent staff who put residents' welfare at the top of the list. Very friendly and approachable. I couldn't wish for a better place for my sister to live. A big, massive, heartfelt, thank you.

As a family we are over the moon with everything about Abiden, from the warm welcome and detailed information we received when looking around to the level of care mum receives. I cannot speak highly enough about Amanda and her team, they are attentive and caring and go above and beyond to ensure mum ( and all residents) are settled, happy and well looked after. To hear mum call it her home speaks volumes. She looks well and feels safe there. We cannot thank Abiden and all the amazing staff enough.

Lovely care home and staff. Treating my dad with kindness and respect. He always looks smart as that is how he dressed when he was at home. There are activities most days which is great as this stimulates his mind and keeps him occupied.

Just care for individuals and go the extra mile...Staff have stepped in and taken Michael to football matches when we were unable. The home also supports extra dietary needs and looked out for my brother in law when his fellow resident a good friend died suddenly. We trust the home, he is happy we are happy! He doesn't even want to come to ours on Christmas day....says it all, thanks Amanda and your staff team..

Excellent person centered care . All the staff are so genuine , so caring and professional . All the residents are happy and my relative is cared for , loved and relaxed . The food especially the puddings are delicious and nothing is too much trouble for the cook . They understand my relatives needs and communicate professionally but friendly with me and my family . It's a warm friendly place to visit and I'm always made to feel welcome . I cannot thank them enough for their care .

My mum has settled so well and I just feel so relieved to see the outstanding level of care and compassion she is receiving from all members of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. My mum looks the best she has for a long time and I can't thank everyone enough for how welcoming and caring they all are. Absolutely loved the Halloween show yesterday.

We're really pleased with how my grandma is being looked after at Abiden. When we go to visit she is always dressed nice and presented well. You can tell the staff care and are attentive. She seems to have nice meals and is always taking part in some activity that keeps the residents entertained. It's comforting to know that whilst we aren't always able to see her, she's in good hands. The home itself smells clean compared to others I've experienced with other family members.

I can't speak highly enough of Abiden Care home . My mum has been made to feel part of the family there from the moment she stepped foot through the door . Every single member of staff have gone above and beyond to cater for her needs and to reassure her. They have all individually taken time to sit with her and are very attentive . They are a credit to the home . Amanda the manageress is very professional , helpful and has explained everything in detail as to what was happening .And just as importantly ,what the home was about and what experience they were trying to achieve . On both an individual and collective level . Amanda and her colleagues have made the whole introduction and experience for mum and her family as seamless as possible . They work tirelessly.The facilities are brilliant , very clean . Plenty of activities. Mums room is lovely and she has everything she needs . She is genuinely happy . I really do not have anything negative to say at all .

I have always found whenever I call upon my mum is that she is always well dressed and looks well, but most of all she seems really happy there .I know from experience as I have seen many care homes over the past few years and believe you me this is the best one by far

I want to thank Abiden for all of the care they are giving to my mum. My family is so grateful to have found such a good place. Everytime we visit my mother is settled and happy and always looks immaculate. The staff are always friendly and caring. My mother's health has improved since being at Abiden for the last 4 months. I do not have any negatives and would recommend this nursing home.

I am so happy that we have found Abiden care home for mum to live at. For the first time in 12 months we now have peace of mind in knowing that she's safe and cared for. In our search for a care home we found Abiden to be our favourite home as the environment is so homely, warm and safe and the staff are always friendly and caring. Mum is very happy and settled here.

Mum is very comfortable and treated as an individual. Abiden is a caring environment. Care is respectful and supportive. Good communication with family working as a team. Always asking questions and looking to improve on any suggestions.

Helped to settle my mother in well. The staff are approachable and caring towards my mother. Spent time communicating with her and meeting her needs. My mother has complex physical needs and again were proactive in getting her a hospital appointment when needed which has made a difference to my mother's ongoing health.

My mother moved in 3 months ago, all staff have been amazing, both professional and polite at all times. They cannot do enough to help both Mother and family, through the whole transition process of moving in. The homely feel and caring environment is second to none. As a family we can now relax knowing Mother is safe and supported 24/7 by an amazing team.

I have nothing but praise for Abiden House , it starts from a certain member of staff through the manager and not least all the staff that work there. Nothing is too much trouble and every care is taken to ensure the wellbeing of the residents. My cousin took a long while to enter a care home but when she did had nothing but praise for the staff, her surroundings, and not least the food. As for myself whenever I visited or rang the efficient, polite, professional, and above all friendly response I always received was appreciated. I am not one who normally “gushes “ with praise but Abiden House in my view stands out.

Mum moved into Abiden 2 years ago until she passed away in January of this year. We were always made to feel welcome as a family and could visit whenever. Mum changed rooms a few times for her own safety and each room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The whole home had a very welcoming feel to it. When asking Mum what she liked about Abiden she always said “The food's good”. The staff were friendly, caring and good fun with mum. On a daily basis, the activities could have been more however they really outshone themselves during celebrations e.g. the king's coronation, Christmas, birthday parties where the cook always made a cake and they tried really hard with fundraising events. We have and would always recommend Abiden as a home for your loved ones.

My grandmother has now been a resident at Abiden since May 2023, and the care and support offered to her throughout that time has been of a consistently high level. The manager and all other staff, are warm and caring, with an overall ‘home from home’ atmosphere. Although it was not an easy decision for Gran to move into a care home, I can rest in the knowledge she is in very safe hands. Thank you, Abiden.

I became a resident at Abiden Care Home at the end of April 2023 having moved from living with my son’s family in another area. The reason I moved here was because the rest of my family reside here. I have been very happy here. It is a happy little home, the staff are excellent and will do anything for you. The food and the cooks will cater for all needs. Thank you all for looking after me.

My grandmother has been living this care home for several months now, after visiting her I am so pleased to see that she is settled and very well looked after. The staff are very friendly, its lovely to see a care home that's being well managed.
