Fernbank is much more than a home. It was like a secondhome for my mum during her respite.
From the moment you walk in the management and all staff are very kind, caring and friendly.
Mum would always say that every meal was absolutely delicious and tasty!
Mum made friends with other residents
and joined in with the activities!
I would highly recommend this home. I know Mum will want to visit staff and residents when she visits us.
Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of our Mum.

This home provided outstanding respite care for our mother, and we couldn't be more thankful. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable, safe, and well cared for, and their professionalism was
matched by genuine warmth. Our mother always commented on how good the food was! and how everyone was so friendly and kind to her. Knowing she was in such capable and caring hands gave our family real peace of mind. I would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking quality care for a loved one.

My husband's grandad seems to really like it here, a true home away from home. He looks forward to meals and says the food is really good.
All the staff are not only very friendly and attentive, but seem genuinely happy and enjoy their job.
The home feels welcoming and is always warm and clean.
When visiting we're always offered a cup of tea. Such friendly attentive staff.
I'd highly recommend for your friend or relative.

This is a fantastic home my grandad realy enjoys it here, The place is very clean tidy and organised, His room is always lovely, warm and clean with staff passing by regularly to see if he needs anything, The food here looks fantastic he always looks forward to meal times if there is something he
doesn't like there is always another choice for him, now for the wonderful staff who work here....everytime I have been here the staff have always made me and my husband feel so welcome, Thay go above and beyond for my grandad and the other residents who live here special mention to Debbie and kayleigh who are so kind and attentive it seems like thay realy enjoy there job and interacting with the resedents, Its realy lovely to see.This place is a gem i would definitely recomend it Thankyou so much to all the staff for all you do, we realy do apriciate it xx

I would highly recommend Fernbank Care home, the care is outstanding. The staff are so caring and attentive to Mum (and us as a family). The home offers fantastic meal options which Mum loves, it's clean, they have days out, daily activities which are all fun keeping Mum entertained and the safety
of the home is exemplary.
The home offers lovely gardens which is perfect as Mum likes to sit out reading her paper in the summer months, chef brings her ice lollies, fresh drinks and staff are attentive applying suncream.. it's these things that makes Fernbank stand out with their care. Mum is so settled which is so reassuring for myself and my sister knowing our Mum is happy, safe and enjoying her days.
We cannot recommend Fernbank enough, we really are so grateful for all the love and care you give her. Outstanding all round.

My Mum went to this home initially on a short term basis, however she liked it enough to stay longer. The staff and Management have been very open with myself and Mum and she feels listened to and understood.

My mum has been living at Fernbank since January and I honestly couldn't recommend it highly enough. She has Alzheimer's and has really settled here, which means so much to us as a family. The staff are absolutely fabulous - not only with Mum, but also with my sister, myself and the whole family.
They are warm, caring and genuinely lovely people, and their support has made such a difference.
Being a small care home gives it such a homely, welcoming feel, and you can tell how much each resident is valued as an individual. We feel so reassured knowing Mum is safe, well cared for and surrounded by kindness.
We would like to express our massive thanks and deepest appreciation to everyone at Fernbank - you have given us peace of mind and Mum a real home. Xxx

Although my father in law is no longer a resident, the manager and the team did everything possible to make his stay safe and comfortable, he liked the staff and the food, his leaving was beyond their control..

The staff were so welcoming and very considerent to our feelings what I noticed was how clean everywhere was and smelling nice .
A home to home place where I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to place there loved one

My sister is now living in Fernbank Lodge Care Home and is receiving the very best care from management and staff, who are always welcoming and pleasant. I can visit anytime, which is very helpful and says a great deal about the caring nature of everyone at the home. I visted yesterday and there was
entertainment (a man with a guitar), and everyone was having a sing-song, which was lovely to see. The environment at the lodge make it feels like a home to its guests, and not just place of residence, which is wonderful. Please take a took, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I visited my sister for the first time she had just moved in. The staff I met were very friendly and helpful. I then phoned to speak to my sister and was able to phone her on her own phone, which the staff facilitated.

Staff at Fernbank Lodge are very friendly and always helpful when we visit my mum.
They have made my mum very welcome and she settled in very quickly. Her health has improve quite a lot since she became a resident at Fernbank. We find it very easy to visit and are made welcome anytime of the day. I
would recommend this care home for anyone who needs care for their loved ones.

My mother-in-law is a resident at Fernbank Care home after being relocated from two other care homes through no fault of her own. The attention and care she receives is second to none. The staff are brilliant and genuinely show empathy to the residents. I would wholeheartedly recommend this care

I am grateful for the care that is provided for my granddad. The setting is very clean and the staff are very polite, kind and positive to the residents. I would definitely recommend this care home to anyone looking for a good reliable care home.

Recently my father's cousin has taken up residential care at Fernbank. My father no longer drives. Therefore have taken him to visit on three occasions. The experience put us completely at ease and I certainly felt immediately comfortable with Fernbank. Notably despite her condition was perfectly
relaxed and cheerful. The staff are very nice and helpful with no problems accommodating our impromptu visits. The experience felt right and left both myself and dad feeling that she is very well looked after. Thank you all at Fernbank.

My mother was originally in Fernbank for recuperation after an accident. She settled very quickly and has been looked after very well. When it became apparent that she wouldn't be able to go home, it was a great comfort to know she was in such a caring, professionally run home. The meals are
excellent and very nutritious. The staff are willing to accompany her to appointments and make sure her medical needs are met.

I highly recommend Fernbank Lodge, my stepmother has been a resident for a couple of years now, and the staff are absolutely fantastic, they're all so caring and friendly, it's clear to see this while visiting. It is well managed and nothing is too much trouble. The manager recently arranged for my
stepmum to attend my dad's surprise 80th, and without doing so she wouldn't have been able to be present.

I recently arranged a respite stay for my mother-in-law at Fernbank Resident Home, and I couldn't be more impressed. The staff were incredibly attentive and always willing to assist with anything she needed, making her feel comfortable and well cared for. They understood how important it was for her
to maintain her daily routine, and they went out of their way to ensure this was followed, which made all the difference in her comfort and well-being. The manager and her team were especially outstanding-professional, kind, and dedicated. I highly recommend Fernbank Resident Home for anyone looking for excellent respite care where loved ones are treated with respect and care.
