My Mum went to this home initially on a short term basis, however she liked it enough to stay longer. The staff and Management have been very open with myself and Mum and she feels listened to and understood.

My mum has been living at Fernbank since January and I honestly couldn't recommend it highly enough. She has Alzheimer's and has really settled here, which means so much to us as a family. The staff are absolutely fabulous - not only with Mum, but also with my sister, myself and the whole family. They
are warm, caring and genuinely lovely people, and their support has made such a difference.
Being a small care home gives it such a homely, welcoming feel, and you can tell how much each resident is valued as an individual. We feel so reassured knowing Mum is safe, well cared for and surrounded by kindness.
We would like to express our massive thanks and deepest appreciation to everyone at Fernbank - you have given us peace of mind and Mum a real home. Xxx

Although my father in law is no longer a resident, the manager and the team did everything possible to make his stay safe and comfortable, he liked the staff and the food, his leaving was beyond their control..

My husband was placed into this care home
The staff were so welcoming and very considerent to our feelings what I noticed was how clean everywhere was and smelling nice .
A home to home place where I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to place there loved one
I leave my husband each day
knowing he's well looked after fed home cooked meals

My sister is now living in Fernbank Lodge Care Home and is receiving the very best care from management and staff, who are always welcoming and pleasant. I can visit anytime, which is very helpful and says a great deal about the caring nature of everyone at the home. I visted yesterday and there was
entertainment (a man with a guitar), and everyone was having a sing-song, which was lovely to see. The environment at the lodge make it feels like a home to its guests, and not just place of residence, which is wonderful. Please take a took, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I visited my sister for the first time she had just moved in. The staff I met were very friendly and helpful. I then phoned to speak to my sister and was able to phone her on her own phone, which the staff facilitated.

Staff at Fernbank Lodge are very friendly and always helpful when we visit my mum.
They have made my mum very welcome and she settled in very quickly. Her health has improve quite a lot since she became a resident at Fernbank. We find it very easy to visit and are made welcome anytime of the day. I
would recommend this care home for anyone who needs care for their loved ones.

My mother-in-law is a resident at Fernbank Care home after being relocated from two other care homes through no fault of her own. The attention and care she receives is second to none. The staff are brilliant and genuinely show empathy to the residents. I would wholeheartedly recommend this care home.

Warm and welcoming. Staff are helpful and friendly. My friend was happy and looked well. They went out of their way to ensure he had a fabulous birthday, working with family and friends to celebrate his special birthday.

Recently my father's cousin has taken up residential care at Fernbank. My father no longer drives. Therefore have taken him to visit on three occasions. The experience put us completely at ease and I certainly felt immediately comfortable with Fernbank. Notably despite her condition was perfectly relaxed
and cheerful. The staff are very nice and helpful with no problems accommodating our impromptu visits. The experience felt right and left both myself and dad feeling that she is very well looked after. Thank you all at Fernbank.

My mother was originally in Fernbank for recuperation after an accident. She settled very quickly and has been looked after very well. When it became apparent that she wouldn't be able to go home, it was a great comfort to know she was in such a caring, professionally run home. The meals are excellent
and very nutritious. The staff are willing to accompany her to appointments and make sure her medical needs are met.

I highly recommend Fernbank Lodge, my stepmother has been a resident for a couple of years now, and the staff are absolutely fantastic, they're all so caring and friendly, it's clear to see this while visiting. It is well managed and nothing is too much trouble. The manager recently arranged for my
stepmum to attend my dad's surprise 80th, and without doing so she wouldn't have been able to be present.

I recently arranged a respite stay for my mother-in-law at Fernbank Resident Home, and I couldn't be more impressed. The staff were incredibly attentive and always willing to assist with anything she needed, making her feel comfortable and well cared for. They understood how important it was for her
to maintain her daily routine, and they went out of their way to ensure this was followed, which made all the difference in her comfort and well-being. The manager and her team were especially outstanding-professional, kind, and dedicated. I highly recommend Fernbank Resident Home for anyone looking for excellent respite care where loved ones are treated with respect and care.

My mum has now been a resident of Fernbank for over three years. Initially, she stayed there for respite but it soon became apparent that Fernbank was the best place for her and she has been there ever since. She is well cared for by attentive, caring staff. The meals provided are nutritious and to
her liking. The management and staff always keep our family informed of her well-being and any upcoming doctor appointments she has, giving us the chance to accompany her, or, if we are not available they are very happy to go with her to an appointment. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly when I visit Mum. I would recommend Fernbank to anyone who is in a situation where a loved one needs 24/7 care. I can't fault them really.

I have been several times to Fernbank to visit my Dad and have always been made very welcome under somewhat difficult family circumstances (unrelated to Fernbank). All the staff I have come into contact with have been non-judgemental, extremely pleasant, very attentive and accommodating when it comes
to my dad's needs; he seems happy and settled. Fernbank is very clean and inviting and homely without being pretentious. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you to all.

My dad has been in Fernbank care home for approximately 2 weeks now! We have found the staff there very caring, very knowledgeable, hospitable and friendly! We are really happy that dad is in there! He has a cosy room with everything he needs! I would recommend this home to anyone! It's like home

The care and attention to detail regarding dad's move to Fernbank have been wonderful. Every effort has been made to ensure he adjusts to his new home and that he has all his needs met safely. There is a homely feel the minute you walk through the door.
