View Full Details of Haslingden HallMy mum passed away peacefully yesterday in Haslingden Hall. She had spent the last 3 months of her life here, and as a family, we could not be more grateful to each and every one of the staff. The genuine concern and care shone through every single day. At the end, it was because of the care for all the family that it was a painless and peaceful passing.
My mother stayed at Haslingden Hall for 5 months, from Nov to April 2025. She was well looked after throughout her stay - the staff were always find, courteous, and treated my mum with dignity and respect. My mother was bedbound, but staff always took time to come and speak with her and offer her company, as well as doing some activities with her in her room. The team sourced additional equipment - an adjustable bed and chair to better support her needs and made a fuss of her birthday, with a beautiful hand-baked cake, which she really appreciated. I would like to thank each and every one of the amazing team for their care.
Mum has only been at Haslingden Hall since mid-March 2025. Our initial experience has been extremely positive. We are impressed with the staff, facilities and care received by Mum and ourselves as family.
Mum has been in the home since last May. She has settled very well, much more than we anticipated. She keeps telling us how good the staff are and that she is very lucky to be there. We would have no hesitation in recommending Haslingden Hall.
This is a lovely care home. My Aunt is well cared for, her room is lovely. It is always clean and warm, although we once found her duvet had no cover and labelled clothing has gone missing a few times - quite common across the care sector. The food is plentiful and looks more than adequate. The sandwiches aren't always great, not much filling, but the soup always smells really nice. My Aunt will not leave her room, but staff are always popping in and out with drinks and to check she is good. Her health is well monitored and medically she is well cared for. Staff are warm and friendly. The Managers are approachable and responsive. All in all it is a good place for her to spend the last years of her life and we have no concerns at all about her well-being and safety.
My Mum is very well cared for. The staff are friendly and patient. There are lots of different activities going on each week to keep the residents minds active and bodies agile. A lot of singing, students from the local school go in and do activities with the residents as do toddler groups. Staff arrange social activities for families and friends as well as residents and have fund raising events. I am very pleased my Mum lives there.
Following our decision to put my mum in a care home following a spell in hospital, we were recommended to place her at Haslingden Hall. The staff are helpful and friendly. They are approachable and most have knowledge of our mum. The home is bright and clean and all give a warm welcome. Thank you
Outstanding levels of care and support in a friendly atmosphere with constantly smiling staff no matter what they are doing. Management team always accessible and helpful. Communication with relatives is really clear and supportive.
The care my late auntie received was excellent, the staff were so kind to her, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were so clean, tidy and well looked after. Her words, "I'm so lucky to be her", says it all. I would recommend Haslingden Hall and would like to say how the staff helped so much in a very difficult time for us, as a family.
My cousin was in Haslingden Hall for three months and the level of care and attention she received was outstanding. I can't praise the staff enough and the standard of cleanliness. I would recommend the home to anyone in need of help and care. Top marks.
First visit to Haslingden Hall, the reception staff very professional and helpful. All staff were observed to be smiling, happy and welcoming. Very professional staff. Lovely clean environment. Staff welcomed us, and made us welcome. Looking after my friend well.
Today was the first time I had visited Haslingden Hall to see a friend who was admitted last Friday. I was warmly welcomed by the staff. You bought my friend to sit with me in the Conservatory. A cup of tea and a biscuit was bought for us. Much appreciated. All the residents seemed clean and well cared for. My friend likened the service she received to a star hotel standard. She was so much better than when she was in hospital. I was delighted.
I cannot recommend Haslingden Hall enough, they've loved and cared for my Nan Rosetta Sparrow since the day she arrived at the home. I couldn't have asked for a better place for her to live, she's loved it there. These last few days up until Thursday 8th August they've shown so much compassion and support to me and allowed my Nan to pass away with dignity. I honestly can't thank them enough.
The decision to move Mum into a care home was very emotional for Mum and the family. However, we were soon reassured that Mum was being looked after with respect and dignity. Although it took Mum a while to settle in, she now says how lucky she is to be there and she feels very safe and well looked after. A big thank you to all the staff.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, and approachable, they all work hard and definitely make a difference for my uncle who is a resident.
My mum has been a resident at Haslingden Hall for a number of years due to dementia. The staff are friendly helpful and are genuine people, who undertake all Mum's care needs with care and compassion. There is always a warm welcome when I visit and Mum is always beautifully dressed, hair done when I arrive on Sundays to take her home for the afternoon. Her room is kept neat tidy and very clean as the domestic staff great pride in their work. I know Mum feels safe and secure as her face lights up when she sees the members of staff who look after her. The staff ensure that Mum takes part in all activities and posts pictures of her, which are important as family that live overseas can see Mum is safe, happy and enjoying herself. Management are friendly and helpful and happy to listen to all concerns, and any concerns I have in relation to Mum's health they ensure she is checked by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Thank you for the care you give to Mum.
Nice place to stay. Great staff, always very helpful.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Always approachable. The home is very bright and clean. Very welcoming.
My mum has been a resident in Highfield Hall for almost 6 months. She suffers from Alzheimer's and is on the first floor. She can be quite challenging at times and requires daily reassurance about her situation. I have found all staff to be approachable although sometimes there can be a language barrier but on the whole all staff are very kind and well-mannered and very patient and empathetic towards my mum. All the staff appear to be hard working and are always busy although the staff ratio to patients is far too low.
Had a lovely visit with my mum today. She was clean and well dressed. She was sat with other residents and in great spirits. Staff ensured we were okay and happy to share information with us. A lovely family visit.
