My wife has Dementia and originally resided at another Care Home until I managed to get her moved to Haslingden Hall over 12 months ago.
It has proved to be an exceptional Care Home. Both the Care and Office Staff go to great lengths to ensure the well being of my wife and the residents.
I visit her every 2 or so days when my health permits and have witnessed acts of genuine kindness every time, this is a happy place which under the circumstances of the awful illness the residents in my wife's wing suffer, is a revelation.
Having looked after my late Mother In Law, and then my wife until I couldn't cope It never ceases to amaze me how the staff look after them all so well.
The accommodation is very good, the food excellent and plentiful.
The lengths they go to to keep them all entertained is honestly really good and the staff, without exception, are knowledgeable and approachable.

Should I ever have to go into a Care Home Haslingden Hall has removed any fear I had about them.

I cannot thank the team at Haslingden Hall for the exceptional care they provided for my Aunt. The staff made her feel welcomed, safe and part of the home, which was warm, clean and tidy. There was a genuine kindness and compassion shown from all staff members from nurses, carers to the management. They treated my Aunt with dignity and tailored her care plan to her specific needs, ensuring her needs were always met. I would highly recommend Haslingden Hall to anyone looking for a safe, happy & professional care environment.

From the moment my mum became a resident here, she received excellent care. The staff were always friendly, approachable and ready to help. Making her final days comfortable and supporting our family throughout. She always had a smile during her time here, a true reflection of the warmth and kindness around her. This was the best place she could have been, and we are so grateful for the care and attention she received. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone seeking a compassionate, welcoming environment.

Overall Experience

Residents here have many complex care needs and advanced dementia illnesses, so it can be a difficult place to be at times. The staff are, however, positive, cheerful and uplifting and appear to have genuine joy and pride in what they do. This is the difference that makes a visit to your loved one an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The difference in my sister's well-being, contentment and happiness has been outstanding and a huge relief to the family. We can see that patient care, respect and dignity are a priority.

Absolutely wonderful place. My mum has struggled at her old accommodation after an Alzheimer's diagnosis, and i had constant worry about her mental heath and wellbeing .
Since mum moved to Haslingden hall all my worries have gone away. Nathan, Helen, Sarah and all the staff have been incredible. All staff appear highly trained. Loving and compassionate around my mum. From the first meeting with Nathan we knew mum would be safe and cared for.
The change in my mum has been night and day. She is so happy in her new surroundings, and it's incredible to see.
It's also wonderful to see the updates on social media and some of the fantastic engaging activities.

Thank you everyone at Haslingden Hall

My father came into Haslingden Hall after he had been in hosptial for several weeks. Haslingden Hall have been great, my dad's got better and better every week. He's the best he's been in a long time. He is treated well, and all the staff are very friendly and do a good job. Everyone is very polite, and it's very clean. I am very happy with the standard of care my dad is receiving.

My mother in law stayed at Haslingden Hall for a year from October 2024. She had complex dementia needs but the staff were invariably cheery and caring, to her and to all relatives who visited. After moving to Haslingden Hall the active and friendly care they provided meant that the medication she had required to calm her anxieties was reduced or entirely removed and she was much more comfortable in herself. The management team were always available and really couldn't do enough to ensure that she, and we, were comfortable and engaged. The home has a warm, friendly, and scrupulously clean atmosphere at all times. I couldn't highlight any member of staff as they all became trusted family friends. Very highly recommend.

My mum passed away peacefully yesterday in Haslingden Hall. She had spent the last 3 months of her life here, and as a family, we could not be more grateful to each and every one of the staff. The genuine concern and care shone through every single day. At the end, it was because of the care for all the family that it was a painless and peaceful passing.

My mother stayed at Haslingden Hall for 5 months, from Nov to April 2025. She was well looked after throughout her stay - the staff were always find, courteous, and treated my mum with dignity and respect. My mother was bedbound, but staff always took time to come and speak with her and offer her company, as well as doing some activities with her in her room. The team sourced additional equipment - an adjustable bed and chair to better support her needs and made a fuss of her birthday, with a beautiful hand-baked cake, which she really appreciated. I would like to thank each and every one of the amazing team for their care.

This is a lovely care home. My Aunt is well cared for, her room is lovely. It is always clean and warm, although we once found her duvet had no cover and labelled clothing has gone missing a few times - quite common across the care sector.
The food is plentiful and looks more than adequate.
The sandwiches aren't always great, not much filling, but the soup always smells really nice.
My Aunt will not leave her room, but staff are always popping in and out with drinks and to check she is good.
Her health is well monitored and medically she is well cared for.
Staff are warm and friendly.
The Managers are approachable and responsive.

All in all it is a good place for her to spend the last years of her life and we have no concerns at all about her well-being and safety.

My Mum is very well cared for. The staff are friendly and patient.
There are lots of different activities going on each week to keep the residents minds active and bodies agile. A lot of singing, students from the local school go in and do activities with the residents as do toddler groups.
Staff arrange social activities for families and friends as well as residents and have fund raising events.

I am very pleased my Mum lives there.

The care my late auntie received was excellent, the staff were so kind to her, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were so clean, tidy and well looked after.
