View Full Details of Willowbank Care HomeI am happy.
I like it here. Staff are nice.
Since my mum became a resident of Willowbank 8 months ago, her general wellbeing has improved significantly. She has Alzheimers but has settled really well and appears happy. When I visit she always has a smile on her face and is well presented. Willowbank has a home atmosphere with cheerful staff who attend to her every need. They make me feel welcome when I visit and I come away knowing my um is being well looked after which gives me peace of mind. Thank you to management and staff of Willowbank.
All staff seem very professional and caring and build a good rapport with residents in difficult circumstances. My brother seems to be very well looked after and happy.
Mum is relaxed and very at home here. The staff and home are excellent and I couldn't fault them. We the family are very happy for Mum to be here.
Our mum has settled very well in Willow Bank, been here since February 2025, after her husband (our father) passed away. All the staff are very caring and very professional, and mum always smiles at them, which shows how happy she is. She is very well cared for at all times. All staff and other residents have become like our family.
We are down as next of kin for my sister in law who has been in the home for over a year. Every time we go to see her we receive a warm and friendly greeting from the staff. We never make any arrangements as to when we might visit, the home is always clean and tidy as are are all the residents there, and there are no bad smells. We find all the staff including the kitchen staff very friendly and caring about the people in the home and this is not always obvious in other homes we visit. My sister in law was a mess both mentally and physically when she first arrived there. She now believes that she is employed by them and loves to feel she can be of some assistance. She even thanks us for putting her there. We can only praise them for their care and consideration.
The manager is very understanding staff are good. Food is good, enjoyed the zoo.
I find the home very good. It is well run by the manager who has a light cheery approach. The staff seem to enjoy there work and when needed are there for you, I have never been resident in a home before, but feel settled and at home here thank you staff, and manager.
Mum came to Willowbank on 24th Feb 2025, and after being at home being looked after by carers, our dad and family, we have noticed mum is a lot happier and able to feed herself and enjoy socialising with the other residents. I have noticed from my first day in Willowbank how caring and kind the staff are. It's like one big happy family. I have just one concern that the new GP has stopped giving mum her B12 and I have asked the care home to chase this up please.
Mum arrived at Willowbank in December 2024. She was greeted by the staff on duty all stood together to welcome her. She settled in from day one and is very happy living at Willowbank. The staff are very caring and friendly when we visit once a week. Mum is always cared for with dignity and has lovely meals prepared in the house. The home is spotless and Mum's bedroom is lovely. Thank you, Willowbank, for looking after mum.
Since my dad has been in Willowbank, he has been cared for very well. The home is very person centred and staff keep me updated with everything and are kind, friendly and professional. My dad has settled very well. A big thank you to a particular staff member for the support he has given dad and our family..
My mother has been in the care home for 3 years and receives excellent care by the manager and staff. She is safe, clean and well looked after. There has not been a change over of staff in the time she has been in there, which tells me staff are happy with the manager and their conditions. I don't have any complaints with my mother's care - at the moment.
Since my father-in-law arrived at Willowbank, I could not think of anywhere else better. His appearance and care are amazing, thanks to the manager and all the staff. They are amazing, very kind, caring and professional, and always keep us informed. Thank you to Willowbank and staff.
I received an excellent review of Willowbank from a friend whose mother had been a resident. This helped with our visit to Willowbank to make the decision for my mum to become a resident. From the day my mum was welcomed by the staff, she has been smiling with every visit. Mum is always well presented and happy at each visit. Our confidence in the care mum receives is a massive comfort to us, and we are most grateful to all at Willowbank.
The care provided by Willowbank has been fantastic, my mum has improved mobility and her overall health is better. I would recommend Willowbank.
I can't compare Willowbank to any other care home as I haven't been in any others. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and caring and my son seems reasonably content there.
My Mum has been at Willowbank for 8 months at first, she was a bit unsettled and missed her own home. As the weeks went on she has settled in well and now is quite happy to stay. The rooms are nice and clean and she is allowed to add her personal touches. The food is good and the staff goes beyond expectations.
Nothing was too much trouble to help my relative to settle in Willowbank. From the bottom, to the top, of all staff, were amazing. The care and compassion was excellent from arranging care to the end. We felt that Willowbank was a safe and happy environment, which my relative enjoyed.
From the moment I entered Willowbank to view the home I was welcomed by an amazing team. Once Mum moved in she was cared for by very kind and considerate staff. She is settled and happy. She is eating delicious food (which she wasn't eating well before). From the manager, staff who care for Mum, cleaners and kitchen staff, they all make everyone feel welcome.
