Willowbank Care Home provides long term, short term and respite care for up to 19 residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where they are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times. Residents receive individual care plans which are tailored to their needs and interests and take into account their social and cultural preferences.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and can have a say in the décor to ensure that they feel at home. The home has a spacious lounge where residents can socialise and watch television, as well as a smaller, quiet lounge. Residents can enjoy the fresh air and good weather in the home’s front and rear gardens.

Nutritious and well-balanced meals are provided for the residents, which they can eat in the communal dining room or in their bedrooms if they prefer. All dietary requirements can be catered for and residents’ likes and dislikes are taken into account.

Residents can enjoy an active social life thanks to the busy activities programme organised by the activity coordinator. This includes crafts, quizzes, discussion groups and entertainment.

I can't compare Willowbank to any other care home as I haven't been in any others. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and caring and my son seems reasonably content there.

Our mum had to come into care after our dad passed away. Mum has alzeimers and has settled so well, she's so well cared for and very happy. Staff are lovely, kind and always smiling and you can visit anytime. Such a good feeling leaving mum knowing she's well cared for.

My Sister, Brother and I, visited a few homes, but none stood out to us like Willowbank Care Home. The kindness and professionalism stood out straight away. Our Mum settled in straight away and is happy at Willowbank. All the residents are top priority to Care Staff. Nothing is to much trouble. The
Manager and Deputy Manager are very focused on their Residents and it stands out that Residents are a top priority. All staff are amazing and I would highly recommend Willowbank for your lived ones.

My Mum has been at Willowbank for 8 months at first, she was a bit unsettled and missed her own home. As the weeks went on she has settled in well and now is quite happy to stay. The rooms are nice and clean and she is allowed to add her personal touches. The food is good and the staff goes beyond expectations.

Nothing was too much trouble to help my relative to settle in Willowbank. From the bottom, to the top, of all staff, were amazing. The care and compassion was excellent from arranging care to the end. We felt that Willowbank was a safe and happy environment, which my relative enjoyed.

From the moment I entered Willowbank to view the home I was welcomed by an amazing team. Once Mum moved in she was cared for by very kind and considerate staff. She is settled and happy. She is eating delicious food (which she wasn't eating well before).
From the manager, staff who care for Mum, cleaners
and kitchen staff, they all make everyone feel welcome.

Willowbank is a well-run care home with extremely caring staff. It is a small care home with a small number of residents which creates a more "homely" atmosphere.
The manager is excellent and very organised and caring.

Visiting my wife at Willowbank frequently, I always feel welcome. I find the staff are friendly, helpful and compassionate to the needs of residents. I am satisfied that my wife is settled and is receiving the care she deserves thanks to the dedication of the staff.

My brother was a Willowbank resident for two years until he sadly passed away this month. He received an exceptional level of care, compassion and support from the Willowbank care team - especially in the days and weeks leading up to his passing. This support also extended to the family. They really
are unsung heroes.

Saw my relative in Willowbank, he seemed happy enough. Staff very nice and approachable. The home seems very nice and clean.

The resident is treated with care and respect. Nothing is too much. Regular activities are provided to stimulate but no pressure to join in is applied. I would be happy to stay here.

We are very happy with the care that mum receives at Willowbank from all the staff. The residents are looked after with genuine care and affection. Weekly activities are well thought out and enjoyable. We always feel welcome by the staff when we visit which is most days. I would highly recommend Willowbank.

My father has been a resident in the care home for 20 months, and his care has been consistently good and often excellent. The care, love and respect from many of the staff made his transition to the care home much easier for him. As his condition has deteriorated over time, the home has been able to
alter the focus of the care to suit his needs, a change of expertise that should not be underestimated.
Overall, my experience of my father’s time at Willowbank has been very good.
