Willowbank Care Home provides long term, short term and respite care for up to 19 residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where they are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times. Residents receive individual care plans which are tailored to their needs and interests and take into account their social and cultural preferences.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and can have a say in the décor to ensure that they feel at home. The home has a spacious lounge where residents can socialise and watch television, as well as a smaller, quiet lounge. Residents can enjoy the fresh air and good weather in the home’s front and rear gardens.

Nutritious and well-balanced meals are provided for the residents, which they can eat in the communal dining room or in their bedrooms if they prefer. All dietary requirements can be catered for and residents’ likes and dislikes are taken into account.

Residents can enjoy an active social life thanks to the busy activities programme organised by the activity coordinator. This includes crafts, quizzes, discussion groups and entertainment.

Since my mum became a resident of Willowbank 8 months ago, her general wellbeing has improved significantly. She has Alzheimers but has settled really well and appears happy. When I visit she always has a smile on her face and is well presented. Willowbank has a home atmosphere with cheerful staff who
attend to her every need. They make me feel welcome when I visit and I come away knowing my um is being well looked after which gives me peace of mind. Thank you to management and staff of Willowbank.

Our mum has settled very well in Willow Bank, been here since February 2025, after her husband (our father) passed away.
All the staff are very caring and very professional, and mum always smiles at them, which shows how happy she is. She is very well cared for at all times. All staff and other residents

We are down as next of kin for my sister in law who has been in the home for over a year. Every time we go to see her we receive a warm and friendly greeting from the staff. We never make any arrangements as to when we might visit, the home is always clean and tidy as are are all the residents there,
and there are no bad smells. We find all the staff including the kitchen staff very friendly and caring about the people in the home and this is not always obvious in other homes we visit. My sister in law was a mess both mentally and physically when she first arrived there. She now believes that she is employed by them and loves to feel she can be of some assistance. She even thanks us for putting her there. We can only praise them for their care and consideration.

I find the home very good. It is well run by the manager who has a light cheery approach. The staff seem to enjoy there work and when needed are there for you, I have never been resident in a home before, but feel settled and at home here thank you staff, and manager.

Mum came to Willowbank on 24th Feb 2025, and after being at home being looked after by carers, our dad and family, we have noticed mum is a lot happier and able to feed herself and enjoy socialising with the other residents. I have noticed from my first day in Willowbank how caring and kind the staff
are. It's like one big happy family. I have just one concern that the new GP has stopped giving mum her B12 and I have asked the care home to chase this up please.

Mum arrived at Willowbank in December 2024. She was greeted by the staff on duty all stood together to welcome her. She settled in from day one and is very happy living at Willowbank. The staff are very caring and friendly when we visit once a week. Mum is always cared for with dignity and has lovely
meals prepared in the house. The home is spotless and Mum's bedroom is lovely. Thank you, Willowbank, for looking after mum.

My mother has been in the care home for 3 years and receives excellent care by the manager and staff. She is safe, clean and well looked after. There has not been a change over of staff in the time she has been in there, which tells me staff are happy with the manager and their conditions. I don't have
any complaints with my mother's care - at the moment.

I received an excellent review of Willowbank from a friend whose mother had been a resident. This helped with our visit to Willowbank to make the decision for my mum to become a resident. From the day my mum was welcomed by the staff, she has been smiling with every visit. Mum is always well presented
and happy at each visit. Our confidence in the care mum receives is a massive comfort to us, and we are most grateful to all at Willowbank.

I can't compare Willowbank to any other care home as I haven't been in any others. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and caring and my son seems reasonably content there.

My Mum has been at Willowbank for 8 months at first, she was a bit unsettled and missed her own home. As the weeks went on she has settled in well and now is quite happy to stay. The rooms are nice and clean and she is allowed to add her personal touches. The food is good and the staff goes beyond expectations.

Nothing was too much trouble to help my relative to settle in Willowbank. From the bottom, to the top, of all staff, were amazing. The care and compassion was excellent from arranging care to the end. We felt that Willowbank was a safe and happy environment, which my relative enjoyed.

From the moment I entered Willowbank to view the home I was welcomed by an amazing team. Once Mum moved in she was cared for by very kind and considerate staff. She is settled and happy. She is eating delicious food (which she wasn't eating well before).
From the manager, staff who care for Mum, cleaners
and kitchen staff, they all make everyone feel welcome.
