My dad got discharged wrongly from hospital, he needs 24hr nursing care and ended up going to woodleigh , we never had a say in where he was going .
So he arrived on monday by Friday I had to phone the paramedics to check on him because the decline in 5 days was very noticeable he ended up with a
uti infection .
I visited him everyday and evrrytime I visited him he was in the same position stuck in bed . They never got him up in his chair once , he got showered once in a week . A tv in his room that had no ariel no remote so couldn't even watch that . The place is under staffed its freezing apart from the bedrooms , well thats if you can call it a bedroom . Very very poor home needs a complete shake up who ever owns it . Elderly deserve decent standard of care . To be clean , warm ,and have decent food to eat , thats just minimum care . If you cant provide the basics you shouldn't be operating in the care sector

I've been to Woodleigh a few times now. The staff make my room feel like a home from home, making sure I have a pressured airflow mattress and all the things I will need for my stay. Everyone is polite and efficient in everything they do for me. I couldn't ask for more. I really look forward to
going into Woodleigh as I know I'm welcome.

They take good care of my father-in-law. He can be grumpy and they deal with it all really well. All the staff we've met are really friendly, helpful and caring to residents and visitors alike with all the great changes we've seen it just keeps improving.

My Auntie has lived in Woodleigh since November 2015. I have nothing but praise for all the staff, from the welcome by reception right through to management. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will listen to you if you need to ask anything. My auntie was very unwell went she went into
Woodleigh but with the care, dedication and hard work of the staff she is quite well at the moment.
When you find yourself in a position to pick a care home for a relative it is very daunting and worrying as to whether you make the right choice but I have never had any doubts about my decision.

My Mum has recently passed away at the grand age of 96 years. During the last six months, Mum's health deteriorated rapidly. She returned to her home (Woodleigh) to die. The final months of her life were filled with love and care form the staff who attended her in a first-class way. I only have
praise for the wonderful staff who cared for Mum and supported us as a family.

The service given to my wife was first class. It also took a lot of pressure off me while having a new gas boiler fitted. Give my regards to your staff. I would highly recommend Woodleigh.

There is not a second of every day that I don't miss my mum and wish she was back living with me. It broke my heart into a million pieces when my mum had to leave my home and go into a care home but due to my own failing health and my husband's stroke, I had no choice. I thought my world would end
but it was a blessing that I chose Woodleigh. The staff from management to everyone that works there has treated my mum (and myself) with such dignity, care, human compassion in every way possible that I feel humbled and blessed. They all not only consider my mum's dignity and respect but mine also. They have become an extended family and I love and thank each and every one of them. I wish everyone was as lucky as we are to have found them.

My mum went to Woodleigh for respite care and then moved in permanently 3 1/2 years ago. The staff are very caring and understanding of her needs. She has a very poor appetite but we feel the staff cater for her more than what we expect them to do. The residents are made to feel that Woodleigh is
their home and not a "care home". The management and carers are all very friendly and approachable. They keep us well informed about mum and the many social events being held at Woodleigh. We highly recommend Woodleigh for your loved ones.
