View Full Details of The Grange and Elm CourtI have lived here for nearly 13 years. I lived here semi independently but moved to 24 hour care as I needed more help. I enjoy food, there are activities but I prefer my own company and like to stop in my room and watch TV. I get on well with staff and can always come to them if I have any problems.
Staff are brilliant. The manager is brilliant too. Meals are nice. I enjoy the activities. The Grange is a lovely place. I feel safe and at home.
I live at The Grange and Elm Court for 3 years. I enjoy living here but I prefer living nearer to my family. I have made some good friends here. I get on with staff. I like to be as independent as possible. I do my own washing. I have my own big bedroom with a double bed and furnishings. I have made it really homely with ornaments and pictures.
I think that The Grange is a very nice place, very supportive in every way. 'Meals staff' are very good.
Caring staff, nice clean home.
Staff very helpful and kind, any problems, they will help.
The staff are friendly and I enjoy going shopping and going on trips.
Enjoy our outings with staff to the seaside, enjoyed our meals out.
I have been here for just over 9 months and it has helped me to grow up and find who I am. I have ups and downs but they have handled it very well. I feel staff are doing a good job even the management have been good.
Good staying here.
I have lived at the residential home for the last nine years and have been extremely happy. The staff are kind and helpful and also understanding always there to help with any problems that I may have I would recommend this home to anyone.
I've now been at this care home for the past 5 years and 6 months and can only say it has helped me immensely I feel like I have got my life back the home is always spotless the food is first class the site manager will go out of her way to help with any needs you have the manager at Elm Court allows you to have your freedom and helps you in any way she can the deputy manager keeps an eye on everything and all the staff who are magnificent and so helpful overall a nice place to stay
The service is very good.
I would like to say that in the four times that I have been living here this is the best it has been as I am doing better than ever with my mental health! I would like to say that the manager that was here in two thousand and eight has not changed.
I have been coming to The Grange and Elm Court since 2021, I am currently in a temporary room but as soon as the room I have had is available I will be back in there. The room I am in is brilliant, so spacious and a lovely room (I can't wait to get back in mine though). The care home is, in general, a lovely place to stay, two carers are, in my opinion, the best care workers and will do anything to help you, if I'm ever feeling down they take time to sit and chat and reassure me that everything's going to be okay, they are a credit to The Grange and Elm Court, I have nominated one for a rising star award, I wish that I could pick both but I can't. The manager is so great too, she is so accommodating and has helped me through a lot of breakdowns and helped me come through the other side. Thank you so much to the manager and thank you.
For someone in my brother's position (alcoholic - recovering) it has been a very humbling time. Made him realise how much he had and so little many of the people here have. though the staff are amazing and very supportive to everyone equally. The Grange and Elm Court is run very professionally with such care.
Nice gardens. Well kept up with by the staff, need more equipment though Recently been updated. Fire alarm pretty dodgy. It'd be nice if we could pay for takeaway for those who don't have money to spare. Good facilities for home, example. telephone.
Usually, more than good, but when not wanted, it happens anyway. My illness, my problem. Very good how they tend to take the lead, with phoning the doctor etc. Found I have more problems than I thought. Good people to rely on, when needed.
Over the last 11 to 12 years my nephew has been at The Grange and Elm Court, he was always looked after very well. In the last year, he was not well and the care he was given by the management and staff was excellent. There was always a warm welcome when we visited. Sadly he passed away in December, after the funeral in January we were asked back to the home and were given refreshments from the management and staff.
