View Full Details of Airedale Residential & Dementia HomeOur mum has been living in the care home for 2 years and the quality of care that she is receiving is excellent. The staff are remarkable and so caring. Mum has advanced dementia and the staff do everything to help her remain upbeat and safe from harm. I feel assured that the care mum receives is not only meeting her needs but excels expectations. Thank you for everything that you do for our mum . The managers communication with myself and my sister is spot on and any changes in mums care needs are addressed straight away and we are consulted about anything relating to mums needs and her care plan. Nothing seems to be too much for the staff and they are kind and friendly to everyone.
My mum is looked after well by the staff and all her needs are met. I'm grateful for everything they do to make her as comfortable and happy as possible. Although her condition is challenging for her and staff at times, staff at the home do their best to meet all the demands of their role with a smile. Thank you.
Nancy was welcomed and well cared for, from the beginning - not easy as she is at least twenty years younger than other patients. The staff speak to her gently or with positive encouragement and share any concerns, including medical visits, dietary etc. Nancy enjoys colouring, singing and word searches, but her type of dementia doesn't allow her to converse freely. The care home is small and feels like a 'home' and is very safe. The staff are to be congratulated on their various events, and they make relatives feel welcome and at home.
A wonderful care home set amongst the beautiful part of Pudsey. I couldn't have wished for a more relaxing stay despite not feeling well in myself. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful, always smiling and very caring and compassionate. They are fantastic with all the residents and have so much patience. My bedroom looked onto Pudsey park so I had a lovely view.
I have been visiting my 90 year old sister at Airedale for 2 1/2 years and have found the staff extremely friendly, reliable and caring towards all (members) residents. Well managed, welcome visitors, food lovingly cooked, happy residents! Keep up the good work, much appreciated!
Mum has now been in Airedale for over 2 1/2 years and we have seen lots of changes. They have all been to make the home better. We can tell Mum is well cared for and loved. We are able to speak to staff if we do have any concerns. Now that there is an activities coordinator it is lovely to see everyone join in. She also arranges activities that family and friends can attend. We don't have any concerns over the home or Mum's care.
Very impressed and thankful to the staff. Nothing too much trouble for them. They call on him having a chat, caring for all his needs. When I call to visit all staff always have a smile. He's very impressed with his meals, he likes his food and always looks forward to meal times. So a thank you to all staff involved in the care home.
The staff are great always happy and so friendly towards me and are great with my friend who is staying here. Keep up the great work you are doing.
My dad has been in care since January. The staff are so happy and caring. My dad is clean, well dressed in his own clothes. He really enjoys his food, especially his full English breakfast. He has a lovely room, that is kept spotlessly clean. I am kept informed of any changes in my dads health and needs.
In my opinion, my husband should not have been in a care home but due to a few difficulties with the choice I have made putting him in the care home I regret this choice not because he was unhappy or anything but due to a few things that have been sorted out everything has worked out well. He is very pleased without choices and is very happy to be with me again.
Airedale is a lovely place, we are happy that mother is cared for well and receives the care she needs. Staff are friendly and responsible, we come and go happy. According to my mother meals are good and certainly seem to be from what we've seen.
Care staff are really good with my mum. They always keep me informed with her health and needs. They have plenty activities for the residents and if I have any concerns that I raise the management and team always act on them. Generally I cannot complain on the service.
The staff at the home are so caring and helpful, cannot fault them. Also have time to comment on my Mother's welfare, telephoning me if there has been any change in her health, medication, doctor visits, etc. The manager/management have been so supportive and I cannot praise them enough. A lot more activities going on, as well as events going on throughout the year, encouraging family and friends to join in. Great newsletter. I cannot thank them enough. The food is excellent.
Our mum has been at Airedale Residential & Dementia Home for just over 2 years. The staff have always been caring and kind and the manager is very approachable. It has been nice to see the numerous improvements over this time and that these are continuing. The role of activities has been filled and it is lovely to see the residents joining in and the change in atmosphere. As Mum's condition continues to deteriorate we feel fully supported by staff and management.
Both my parents are residents at Airedale Residential & Dementia Home. My standards are high and I've been impressed by the standards of care and staff commitment to their residents. The staff work very hard. The activities provided are fantastic. Any issues are promptly addressed by management who are friendly and approachable. Great role models for the care team. It's very reassuring and gives such peace of mind to know Mum and Dad are well cared for. Thank you.
I am so happy with this care home. My friend loves it there. She is well looked after. The food is great, they are always doing things and entertaining the residents. The staff are all lovely and whenever I go to visit which is every week, they are so welcoming. I have no hesitation in keeping my friend here. It is a lovely well-run place. It doesn't smell and is always clean and tidy. They are doing an excellent job.
My mum was in Airedale care home from October until her death in November this year. She had dementia and never realised she was in a care home she always referred to staying in a big house with lovely pictures on the walls. She was happy, never asking to go home. The staff were all lovely, always engaging with the residents. They had lots of patience for everyone.
My friend's dad has been here since the year 2022. I try to visit once a week and I have always found the staff pleasant and accommodating. If there has been an issue with him I have asked for help and it's been sorted. He has always been happy with his food and it's always looked appetising. There were times I felt the smell was a bit much but this has definitely improved.
Caring and compassionate staff. They have looked after my dad the best they can and always try and personalise his care needs. Dad usually looks healthy when I come to visit him; he stated that he is happy at Airedale, and there are some very good staff members on the team. I’m happy they have been taking him down to communal areas so they can monitor his fluid intake. Thank you, Airedale.
My dad has been a resident at Airedale since September, we have found the staff to be very helpful and caring with my dad's many needs. We're always made very welcome by the staff when we visit even though they are often stretched and over busy, more staff would be ideal. A member of staff and her staff are always available to explain or help with any queries we have. The location is lovely next to the park.
