My self and my sister visited Grangewood to see our friend.
As soon as we entered the home we were greeted by warm, friendly and professional staff.The home is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and has a wonderful home from home feel.
Residents were sat in various groups chatting or
attending activities and appeared very content and happy, staff engaging with Residents, taking time assist and chat when needed.
It is obvious to see that the manager Joleen and her team take great pride in offering a high level of care to their Residents. It was an absolute pleasure to visit Grangewood, what a lovely home you have

Overall the experience visiting Grangewood everyday to see my husband over 4 1/2 yrs has been one of the staff being kind caring helping in situations of concern and anxious times. There have been many. Without management and staff carers domestics senior staff and admin life would be very
difficult. The easy conversations the fun and activities are a welcomed break from the tough days when a loved one is unwell. They care for residents and family and friends are always welcomed to Grangewood. The food is good to excellent staff carers work very hard to achieve team work.

I was welcomed into Gragewood when visiting a friend. They had an event in December which was free entertainment and food for all the community. All staff are amazing and I'm always made welcome credit where credit it due.

Although mum passed away over a year ago, I still visit Grangewood once or twice a week. The manager and all her staff do a fantastic job. They make you feel welcome and they are good hard workers and make you feel at home as well.

Happy cheeful atmosphere over the Christmas period at Grangewood. Staff as lovely and helpful as ever. Care home was decorated well and plenty of activities for those who wanted them. Made the Christmas period easier for loved ones and their relatives.

A lovely care home with lovely staff. My mam is happy here and well looked after. She is always clean and well-fed. The staff are caring and understanding and make an effort to get to know my mam, so much so that they know when she's not feeling 100% or something's not right. There's always
activities and they encourage my mam to join in. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a safe and happy environment.

Staff are amazing. So much attention and care. Staff are genuinely interested and invested in the resident they they look after. Very friendly throughout the entire home, everyone feels part of the extended family.

My mother joined Grangewood in June 2024. She was made to feel very welcome and soon settled into the 'Grangewood community'. The level of care she receives is excellent, carers are always pleasant, caring and very professional. This leads to very high standards. There is a wide range of activities
to meet each resident's needs both inhouse and in the wider area. The home is always clean and tidy and well kept and presented. Standards are very high and Mam very happy.

All the staff care for the residents with respect. They are all "good fun". They have lovely entertainment and everyone joins in. The home is always spotless and clothes beautifully laundered. I am glad we found this home to care for mam when we were no longer able.

We cannot praise the team at Grangewood enough for the care and dedication they have shown our mam. After a long stay in hospital, the communication from the team was excellent, ensuring a smooth and well planned return home. The deputy manager provided invaluable preemptive suggestions for Mam's
care, reassuring us that with the support of the community nurses her needs would be met safely, comfortably and with dignity. The love, warmth and care shown on her return were truly heartwarming - Grangewood really is HOME to her. Her room was immaculate ready for her return. One lady visited Mam in hospital which proved how this amazing team go above and beyond. Thank you all.

Visited to see our uncle on his 100th birthday today. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a lovely buffet. We were made to feel very welcome.

As my husband's health has sadly deteriorated over recent months the care and compassion provided by all the staff regardless of their particular roles has been excellent. They are always there to help and advise and treat him with dignity, respect and the support he needs. It is very reassuring to
know he is in such safe, caring and capable hands whilst maintaining an upbeat, friendly and positive attitude. I cannot praise them highly enough.

The support and care at Grangewood have made Mum's move there easier for us all. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile. There is strong leadership and a good team spirit, which makes it a happy and welcoming place for residents and families.

Choosing care is one of life's most stressful experiences, but we were very blessed to find Grangewood! Aunty went to live there after a lengthy spell in hospital, and the fact we had her for so long was down to the outstanding care she received in a home filled with friendship, smiles and laughter.
All staff, irrespective of their role, were friendly, supportive and dedicated and nothing was too much trouble and minor niggles were quickly/professionally addressed. The environment is bright/welcoming, but the warmth, welcome and quality of care are at the forefront. A varied range of activities are on offer and staff strive to include residents according to their health situation. They take time to chat and every effort is made to include families in all aspects of their loved one's care/ life in the home itself. The words may be small, but the sentiment really is huge -thank you for making Aunty's final months the best they could possibly be; yours is a true vocation!

Mum was a resident for seven weeks last March/April. Visiting Grangewood today to deliver a small gift, I was welcomed with the warmth and care I had come to expect from this homely care home.
