During one visit of my relative for the occasion of her very special birthday, I could see and feel how very special the carers were. Full of present, kindness + attention, they quickly dealt with any need of the residents. The celebration they arranged was exceptional.

Mandale House Care Home is not the most modern care facility but that is not important, what is important is the staff and how they looked after my dad during the last year of his life, and in that regard they are fabulous. The home is clean and well run, and the staff are really sweet, caring, and well trained, so from the day he was moved there I knew that he was happy, content, and in the right place.

You are greeted with smiles from all of the staff and they all say hello. The friendly feel to the home is wonderful. The staff would do anything to help you. They are really gentle with the residents. The home is clean and they have entertainment on for the residents all of the time. My mother settled in without any problems. She has never complained. It really is a home from home.

Mandale House is an excellent care home, no faults I have got to say. All the staff are so kind, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for any of them. The carers and all the staff who were caring for me have looked after me so well and I couldn't be happier. I felt so at ease from beginning to end and all the residents were so nice and they all seemed as happy as I am. I am going to miss this care home but would come back like a shot. Overall I would highly recommend Mandale House to anyone.

Very good, well fed and looked after. The staff are very good, can't thank them enough. Would be happy to stay here again. Well run, just like a machine.

Being in the care home for 6 weeks my mother-in-law found such kindness and care. Both staff and management staff are kind and helpful people who support, care and help in every way. They are kind, and humourous in a very genuine way and apart from myself I have only seen 100% help and care with other patients. This is a well-accommodated place to be in.

I am happy to say I chose this home for my mother. The care and support for all the family goes up and above from all the staff.

The staff were second to none. They looked after my fiancee extremely well and personally, I am sad he is moving.

Although Mam was only in the home for a few hours (she was taken to hospital with pneumonia), the staff we met could not have been friendlier. They were lovely and made Mam very comfortable and we were very happy to leave her there in their care. I would definitely choose this care home again if required.

The majority of staff show empathy and understanding and do a fantastic job in challenging circumstances. The home is a very welcoming place and all staff are friendly and helpful. My mum has taken part in quite a few activities and enjoys the interaction of other residents. On the whole, I am very happy that my mum is safe and well looked after within this caring environment.

Excellent service provision by all staff and management team. Caring, attentive and informative as the team continues to build and develop the relationship between the resident and relatives, friends etc. My mother feels comfortable and looked after which is always a pleasure to hear when speaking to her. Keep it up Mandale House Care Home staff, thanks for all your continued service, support and assistance.

Since a new, permanent manager has been put in place, things have improved greatly. There are still the occasional hiccups, involving new staff, but these are now of a minor nature.

Overall, I am happy with the Mandale House Care Home. The staff do their job well and will help with any questions that I may have from time to time. Regarding your question value for money that I have left out because social services and my daughter with power of attorney take care of that so I don't have that information.

Mum has been here for three years. There has been times when I have been unhappy with Mum's care. However over a few solved. Mum seems more happy looked after.

Dad is very settled in Mandale. All staff are friendly and caring. They assist Dad to live as independently as he is able and take an interest in what he likes, i.e. football, music and family. The meals are nutritious and well-presented. The staff encourage him to partake in activities and entertainment provided. I would recommend Mandale House to anybody.

Since my sister-in-law went into Mandale Care Home over a year ago the care and attention she has received is of the highest quality. The covid situation has made things very difficult for all concerned but standards of care have been maintained at such wonderful levels and I have the greatest admiration and thanks to all the staff for what they achieve day in day out. I know she is safe and secure in Mandale and she gets regular and varied choice of meals. I also know that close attention is given to her medication. Many thanks indeed.

The care and attention that has been given to my mother-in-law is just excellent. She is part of a very caring and loving environment and is treated in such a lovely way that comes across as her being so happy in herself. She enjoys everything that she does and is kept busy doing activities that she likes in a very safe setting and a very happy place.
