I found visiting the home there were brown spot on the floor in the rooms. This happens when the patients are being changed. I think you know what I am referring to. I noticed the cleaners are working and they use a mops. Mops are useful for mopping up spillages not for cleaning large scale floors.
I have visited other homes. They have an electric rotate cleaner. It cleans with spray or cleaner, it also scrubs the floor and sucks up the water and leaves a clean surface and removes any stains. This is not a complaint. I am sure the clearers do try to do a good job and do their best. In my job I would try and make the work more effective for the employee.

I wish to acknowledge the exceptional care, kindness and support of the staff at Wellburn House, across all departments. Everyone gave such thoughtful, affectionate and dedicated support to our parents over the years.
The care given to Dad when he was unwell and the compassion shown in his final
days was deeply appreciated. Dad could not have been in a more, caring, loving environment, which was a great comfort to his family at this difficult and emotional time. Thank you to everyone.

The home is just about perfect, I have had a lot to do with nursing homes as my wife has had nursing experience since 1966. We have found the care is brilliant all the staff look after me as well as my wife.They are all so friendly and happy, and nothing is too much for them The home is very clean
and the food is lovely, cant express how happy we are knowing my wife is well looked after and safe.

I should like to thank staff at Wellburn for helping to make my elderly father's 96th birthday special. The Activities Coordinator gave my father a card signed by residents and staff. Thanks especially to the chef who made a beautiful birthday cake for him and even peureed a slice so that he was
able to eat and enjoy it - wonderful.

Wellburn House was mums home for five years and the care she received was wonderful. All of the staff have been kind, caring, helpful, professional, supportive and cheerful. They knew her well and despite some challenging times, they enabled mum to live her best possible life while she was there.
And she always said how good the food was! Thank you to everyone at Wellburn House.

The staff have been absolutely amazing, extremely helpful, caring and compassionate. My mam was in safe and caring hands throughout her time in Wellburn House. I will always be extremely grateful to all the staff there for the way they looked after my mum and our family. We could not have wished for
a better team of carers.

Mum has been a resident of Wellburn for the past year. I have nothing but praise and respect for all the staff who have looked after Mum, they go the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable and happy. There's always something going on to entertain the residents thanks to the great activities
coordinator. I have great peace of mind when I leave mum to go home as I know she is being very well looked after. Thank you all for your support.

Very happy atmosphere. The staff are so helpful, they make time to chat to the residents - elderly people need to be noticed. They made me feel very welcome with a cup of tea, biscuits and a chair.

I was sent to Wellburn House Care Centre for respite after being in hospital for three weeks. Having arrived there I was treated with kindness and compassion and all my medical needs were professionally done for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made my stay more enjoyable and carried
out their duties to a high standard. Highly recommend.

My mother is in this home. She has been here since August 2022. The staff and management are brilliant. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate my mother and her extra needs with her dementia. Excellent.

Our dad was admitted unexpectedly during the Christmas holidays. The staff have been consistently, warm, friendly caring and kind. The staff are very approachable, have listened to our concerns which has enabled Dad to receive personalised care. Their professionalism and compassion shown to Dad and
us as a family has brought us a great deal of comfort at a very difficult emotional time!

Our mother was admitted to Wellburn House due to falls and dementia. My first impression of the home was how clean it was. The staff are incredibly welcoming and reassuring, as to us, the family, it is an emotional time. Our mother has settled very well and feels safe. The food is high quality and
plenty of it. As first impressions go, Wellburn has exceeded all our expectations.

I have visited my sister regularly since she was admitted and have been impressed with the level of care and concern the home had provided. There have been some difficult situations for the staff to deal with, but they have done so appropriately with emphasis on care and safeguarding, showing
compassion and understanding. I fully appreciate the staff for their care, their cheerfulness and their hard work.

My mother recently had respite care at Wellburn House. From the moment we got there, the staff greeted us with a smiley face and were very friendly and chatty with Mum and me. We were shown to Mum's room which was clean and tidy. We were left to settle Mum in, then Mum was told who her main carer
was.
We were shown around the home and Mum became more settled that all the staff and residents were lovely. The senior carer was very lovely and went into detail about what would happen next, she was lovely to Mum and me and said I could ring up to check on Mum anytime day and night if I was worried about her.
The food is amazing, Mum's never eaten so much in her life! She made lots of new friends and became more socially active. Lovely place, we would not hesitate to put Mum in there when she needs care again.

I would just like to thank the lovely lady who settled my grandma into her room after having a confusing journey home from the hospital. She had been passed from pillar to post at the hospital and she made me feel comfortable that she was going to be safe and looked after in her care. She made sure
she was in clean clothes and as a relative I am very appreciative.

The family, including our mother, were really worried about her going into care. Well, we need not have worried! The team greeted our mother with kindness, compassion and a warm welcome from day one. The team are gentle with her and importantly listens to her wishes. They also know when to encourage
our mother when she resists anything that would be of benefit to her. The team keep the family informed of all of our mother's needs and shares anything that happens like hospital visits or doctor visits with detailed updates. The staff are amazing! The family are so grateful. Thank you! If I could add one thing to improve the residents' stay, put some softeners on the doors as they really slam!
