View Full Details of Church ViewMam has been in Church View for 10 months now. Her care has been outstanding in all aspects. The staff also provide the family with care and compassion which is much appreciated. I used to work as a community nurse, for people with dementia and this is one of the nicest care homes I have been in.
Well run care home. Management and staff excellent . My husband enjoyed his time and was very well looked after . All of the areas are spotless and welcoming. Food appeared well presented and activities were well executed
Excellent, staff very helpful.
As a daughter, I found it very difficult to place Mam into a care home but as her condition deteriorated, Mam needed 24hr care. All staff welcomed Mam with kindness and compassion, which has continued to this present day. If I have any concerns or worries, they are dealt with immediately. This is very reassuring. She is cared for with compassion and empathy at all times. All members of staff feel like an extended family to us. Church View is a well run care home by an efficient management team. Thanks to all of you.
Very friendly staff always helpful, home very clean and inviting, nothing is ever a problem, my friend was always happy and spoke highly of the staff.
The great aspect of home is the staff who are forever friendly, approachable, and the duties are carried out efficiently with empathy and alacrity.
Very satisfied with my wife's treatment and how well she is looked after.
In appearance, Church View almost resembles a Travel Lodge style. It has well appointed rooms, is clean and tidy, with a mature garden area and plenty of space to park. The staff are very friendly and each resident receives a high level of care. Residents are listened to and treated with respect at all times. There are always fun things to do. As well as holding fund raising fetes, there are many activities for the residents and their families, if they wish, to participate in. If crafts are your thing, or you like a bit of gardening, you can join in whenever you like. If you need a bit of exercise, then the armchair workouts to music are fun. Or if you want to do something less energetic, maybe bingo or fun quizzes are right up your street. If you just want to relax, you're welcome to rest in your room or sit in the spacious lounge. There is a variety of good quality food on offer too.
My mother was taken into Church View after a fall which resulted in a broken shoulder. She had also developed a urinary Tract infection and needed recuperation and rehabilitation following a stay in hospital. Initially I was apprehensive about her going into a care home but church view was such a welcoming and pleasant environment it put my mind at ease. The staff are excellent and the home is well managed. There is a friendly atmosphere and there's always something going on for the residents to do. My mother settled in quite quickly and was happy to be there which was a weigh off our mind. Im pleased she is in such a good care home and its reassuring to know that she is safe and well looked after.
Mother came to the care home recently from living independently. The process was carried out in a professional, caring way with minimal stress for her and the family. This level of care has continued from excellent staff in the well designed and maintained home. Particularly impressive is the level of cleanliness and the activity programme for the residents. I would strongly recommend the care home.
My mother receives the care and attention she requires by a team of very dedicated staff who go above and beyond to care for my mother with dignity care and compassion, I find if I have any queries regarding my mother they are answered promptly and efficiently by members of staff, it was a very hard decision for me personally to place my mother into a care home and after visiting a few others in the area I find I took the right decision, I am very comfortable leaving my mother knowing she receives the care and attention she requires.
It's approaching 2 years for our mother as a resident, and she has had consistently excellent care from an amazing team of carers. She participates in most of the daily activities and loves having her hair and nails done every week. As a family, we were hesitant at the prospect of our mother becoming a resident, but she quickly settled in and thoroughly enjoys her life. We believe her life has been extended due to the exceptional care she receives, and we and our family are greatly comforted in the knowledge she is very happy and so well cared for by an amazing team. The Care Home is well maintained, incredibly clean, and the food is excellent quality.
My mother receives outstanding care from an amazing team of carers who go above and beyond to meet her individual needs. The Care Home is superbly led by the Assistant Care Manager who inspires and motivates the team and always finds solutions if any problems arise. She is cared for with great dignity, love, respect and compassion. The carers are encouraged to spend time getting to know the residents and my mother looks upon them as family as do I. The Care Home is well maintained incredibly clean food is excellent quality. My mother enjoys the many activities that are put on every day. She loves being pampered having her hair and nails done every week. I believe her life has been extended due to the exceptional care she receives and I and my family are greatly comforted in the knowledge she is very happy and so well cared for by an amazing team.
My father in law was a little reticent at the prospect of becoming a resident in a care home. However after a visit where he was able to meet staff and get a feel of the home he was much more at ease with the idea. He has now been a resident there for 6 months and still as settled there as when he became a resident. Church View is well laid out and meticulously clean and caters for all the needs of the residents. The staff there are gems and nothing is any bother for them. Their whole work essence is for the good and well being of the residents who they arrange multiple activities for as well as tending to the individual needs of each. On my many visits now it is a joy to see their interaction with my father in law and also their willingness and encouragement of the residents to introduce new aspects for example a domino handicap which has encouraged other residents to participate. The knowledge he is supported and well looked after has been a great reassurance to us as a family.
Church View and all of its team has exceeded our expectations about what could be delivered in a care home. The home came recommended to me through a variety of routes and I know I could not feel more comfortable about the care my parents have received there. The care standards set are high; the environment is homely and of a high quality and the facilities are modern. More importantly than this, the way in which care standards are carried out in practice is remarkable. Individual carers are empathetic, personal and genuine in the way they care for each and every resident and this makes this a very special place. The leaders here have created an environment where each and every individual is treated with genuine care and personalised attention; every member of the whole multidisciplinary team is impressive in their own field. I would recommend Church View unreservedly; we are lucky to have found it.
Having had to find a home at short notice for our beloved mother/mother-in -law, we have found this home to be superb. The rooms are well-furnished, warm and well equipped. The activities are well-planned, innovative and fun, and residents are supported and encouraged to join in. Each and every staff member is so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make each resident feel at home, cared for and content. They are treated as individual personalities and listened to, even when they are repeating themselves again and again! The expertise ,warmth, good humour and understanding of the staff has also helped us a family navigate through the cruel disease of dementia, and their support in difficult moments has been very much appreciated.
I cannot fault Church View Care Home, the care and compassion they show residents is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. The care is very person centred. There is always something on for the residents to do family and friends are encouraged to join in.
My mum recently moved into Church View October 2024. It is the first time in 20 years that I feel she is very well cared for. The staff are amazing! Making my mum feel at home from the minute we entered. I highly recommend this care home for loved ones.
My dad was very anti care homes, kept himself to himself so it was very difficult initially with the move to Church View but after a bad fall and my dad arriving straight from hospital the staff were so welcoming. His whole support was very individual to his own needs and how he prefers things to be. Initially, the plan was for my dad to be there short term then to be reviewed. The day of the review we were all totally surprised my dad asked if he could stay as he liked his room so much and had settled knowing he could have his independence while having the reassurance he was fully supported when needed. He says he has no worries and he loves the staff, his room is like a hotel room, cleaned every day, the food is lovely, lots to choose from and nothing is a bother when he asks for a little help.
My relative was very unsure of coming to this home. After two or three days, she felt like she was so lucky to be in such a beautiful place. I do think this place is so special. The staff (all of them) make everyone feel like you (residents and family) are all individuals, and also part of the home's family. Nothing is too small or too big that they can't help to sort it out. Fantastic!
