My mother has been a resident at Dyrfyn Unit for over 2 months after an operation on her hip. I cannot thank the staff enough. Run very much like a hotel. Food always presentable and fresh. The place has transformed my mother.

From our first contact and initial visit we were impressed by the professional approach and standard of care and facilities at Chirk Court. Mum has been a resident for just over a year now and we cannot fault the all round excellent care she has received. Overall, mum's health and wellbeing has
significantly improved since being a resident which, in turn, has enhanced her quality of life.
All the staff are very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and professional with nothing being too much trouble. Communication is excellent and the secure 24 hour key fob entry system is a really useful feature.
Chirk Court's facilities, range of activities and social opportunities are very good. The orangery and sensory garden are great spaces for residents and their families. Mum's room and all communal areas are bright, clean and well maintained with seasonal decorations providing a homely touch. Overall, Chirk Court has a warm and welcoming feel.

My mum has been at Chirk Court for six months now and as a family we are so pleased that mum is happy and settled in. We cannot thank the staff enough for the excellent care given to my mum, they are amazing. It's such a happy and welcoming place. Everywhere is so clean, tidy and always pristine.
Which again is a credit to such excellent staff. It is such a relief knowing my mum is there and in safe hands, we can't thank them enough!

It's such a lovely place and I'm so pleased my nan is there and being so well looked after and cared for. The staff are wonderful and do such a great job, always smiling and helpful. It's a very welcoming place to visit.

Chirk Court became my mother's new home in March 2025 at the age of 94 years, the staff were so welcoming which helped her settle in quickly. Her immediate health needs were effectively met through good communication with the GP, dietitian and the chiropodist leading to my mother going from strength
to strength. She now enjoys much independence and regularly participates in the many activities offered in the orangery and garden.
All our queries are addressed promptly including sourcing the S4C channel and fixing her iPad when it goes offline!
As a family, we are very pleased with Chirk Court and would happily recommend.

The staff at Chirk Court are always very welcoming and helpful. I can't fault the facilities not only for the residents, but for the families visiting the residents, too. The residents' rooms are lovely, homely and always clean. The residents are well looked after, and my grandmother's health and
wellbeing has significantly improved since being at Chirk Court.

Always made welcome - staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, my mother has settled in and is very happy and content. The home and all the facilities are excellent, and everywhere is clean, and oh, how I enjoy the lovely cakes that are always available in the

I find it very friendly and happy place to visit, and I visit most days. You are made welcome the minute you arrive at the home. I find it so clean and tidy wherever you go, in fact, spotless. My wife is very happy and has settled very well.

From first approaching Chirk Court to the present day, Chirk Court have been so helpful and friendly. The admin process was seamless, and the staff took all the stress out of the process.
Every member of staff spoke to us on our visits and made us welcome. The building is spotless, and the garden
areas are so well laid out.

After viewing several homes, Chirk Court was 'the one' from moment we walked in staff so friendly, helpful and understanding how hard it was for me to look to place my dad in a home but all my fears evaporated after 5 minutes here. Such a happy, clean and cheerful place. I feel so lucky dad is here.

My dad was in the Maelor and once it was decided the level care required I contacted Chirk Care Home and was really lucky they had a room available - they couldn't have done more to assist with the assessment of dads care needs and the lady that showed us around was amazing at explaining all the
functions of the home. Throughout the assessment period I felt that Jane worked well to establish dads needs as an EMI resident and that chirk court could accommodate them before us both agreeing that this was best place for him. Any query I have had through the process has been answered promptly and I have been kept very well informed Dad has never been more settled somewhere his room is lovely, he enjoys the food (says it's the best he's had), enjoys having a en-suite shower room as he is a private person, he has joined in the activities something he previously wouldn't have done. The whole feeling of chirk court is very calming it feels like a family.

A lovely, welcoming home from home. Staff who care and go the extra mile for residents. Lots of activities should residents want to take part. My mother always says the food is good. Easy to talk to management if necessary.

Chirk Court has been a Godsend. We know my father in law is safe and well cared for and my wife can finally relax. He has a lovely room and as there are only a small number of residents in a unit he gets good individual care. The staff are lovely to us as a family and the manager is very
approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend this care home.
