My dad was in the Maelor and once it was decided the level care required I contacted Chirk Care Home and was really lucky they had a room available - they couldn't have done more to assist with the assessment of dads care needs and the lady that showed us around was amazing at explaining all the functions of the home. Throughout the assessment period I felt that Jane worked well to establish dads needs as an EMI resident and that chirk court could accommodate them before us both agreeing that this was best place for him. Any query I have had through the process has been answered promptly and I have been kept very well informed Dad has never been more settled somewhere his room is lovely, he enjoys the food (says it's the best he's had), enjoys having a en-suite shower room as he is a private person, he has joined in the activities something he previously wouldn't have done. The whole feeling of chirk court is very calming it feels like a family.

Staff all fabulous, I feel very well looked after, staff friendly and warm. Relaxed and homely feeling. Food amazing, but staff make my stay worthwhile.

A lovely, welcoming home from home. Staff who care and go the extra mile for residents. Lots of activities should residents want to take part. My mother always says the food is good. Easy to talk to management if necessary.

Chirk Court has been a Godsend. We know my father in law is safe and well cared for and my wife can finally relax. He has a lovely room and as there are only a small number of residents in a unit he gets good individual care. The staff are lovely to us as a family and the manager is very approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend this care home.

I like being here because it is nice and clean and I have a special bed which is very comfortable. I like the food but the carers will make me something different if I fancy something. The carers are nice and look after me well. They take me to listen to singing and things if I want to go. I'm very happy here.

This residential home is lovely and bright, the staff are courteous and caring and the attention given to residents is exemplary. During my weekly visit I am totally impressed by every aspect of the facilities here and makes a visit pleasant and satisfying knowing that our loved ones are being cared for and catered for to such a high standard.

After many years trying to decide what to do, my father decided to move into Chirk Court. From the day he arrived, it has been amazing. Staff are brilliant and very welcoming. His room is lovely, and were told to do what he wanted, to make it homely for him. He settled really well, and quickly and now refers to it as his home. It has also given me and the family peace of mind, knowing how well he is being cared for. Can't fault the place.

I visit my father at least once a fortnight. I find the staff very helpful and they take care of his needs effectively and efficiently with the most compassion. Thank you for all you do for him.

I can't thank the staff at Chirk Court enough for the way they look after my father. The residents rooms and the communal areas are excellent, bright, well furnished and very clean. He has his own bathroom and is able to have a shower without having to be wheeled down a corridor. This is important to him as he is very private. A fabulous home.

Very pleasant surroundings - lovely welcome from staff. Feel happy to leave my Dad in good hands as live 3 hours away so feel reassured.

Mum has really settled in at Chirk Court, they support mum very well and she has an appetite again which is wonderful to see. Every member if staff says hello to her wherever she is in the building. I would certainly recommend Chirk Court for somewhere to go for dementia sufferers.

I am delighted with the care and support Mum is receiving at Chirk Court since moving there after a lengthy hospital stay. The staff are excellent and I cannot praise the staff in Dyffryn enough as they really seem to have got to know who my Mum is and she is clearly happy there. The facilities at Chirk Court are great. The rooms are large and always clean. The activities coordinator has tailored these to Mum's needs. Mum loves the food and drink - the staff really took time to understand Mum's likes & dislikes, so she is given what she enjoys. I would highly recommend Chirk Court!

Dad has been at Chirk Court since early August and I visit regularly. Whilst the quality of the room, facilities and food is important and my view is that it is of very high standard at Chirk Court, it is the care from the staff that is the most important. The staff on the unit treat Dad with respect and dignity and are always ready to answer my questions. I feel that they go out of their way to put a smile on his face and respond to his needs. They also pro-actively give me little updates about his day which helps put my mind at ease.

From my first contact with Chirk Court regarding my father, their response was professional, caring and compassionate. Their contact was kind, respect and friendly with my father. They ensure his admission to Chirk Court has smooth, quick and a very warm welcome. The staff on the unit he is on are very professional, friendly and approachable and display good communication with myself and my father.

My mother in law has been a resident here for the last 3 yrs and she is very happy here. All the staff are excellent at looking after all the residents and one always there if you need them. We have no worries of my mother in law being a resident here she is looked after every day. Everything is excellent here.

The care my sister is receiving is more than exceptional. I can't praise the staff enough. The cleanliness of the home is spotless. Food is amazing. Overall the staff and management are friendly and can't do enough for you.

The staff at Chirk Court have always been very patient and understanding in looking after my wife. The administration has been accessible and fast in responding to any questions and support that I have needed. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

I have been three times since my mother has been there. She is well catered for in a good environment. The staff are excellent and the facilities are good.
