The home seems to care compassionately and treat the mother in law well ...my mother in law says she likes the carers ...which is a weight off our minds ...they even make us feel welcome and not in the way...can't say anything bad ..

My mum has settled well with the help of the kind and caring staff who see to All of mums care needs ,,when she went into care we were concerned as wether she would settle with time patience and understanding the staff have a really good rapour with my mum and visa versa,all management and staff have been supportive in all aspects of mums care needs

Positive experience from first enquiring for respie care with the manager to Mum returning as a permanent resident a few weeks later. Staff are a credit to the home, without exception, polite, friendly, caring and considerate.

The visit today was interesting, we were shown around inside and out and all looked very presentable. Staff very friendly and informative. Residents seem to have a very good activity programme.

My mother-in-law since being here has had the utmost care and support. All staff are welcoming and caring. Kinmel Lodge is by far the best care home in North Wales!

Mum came to Kinmel Lodge in March 2021, during COVID. She was quite poorly and I thought she wouldn't last a few weeks. They have looked after her with great care and dignity. Staff and management are always available to discuss her health and any problems have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Mum had her bedroom recently decorated and it's lovely. They have gone out of their way to provide a hospital bed and mattress for her. She is very happy. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.

My mum has been a resident here for two years with dementia and Alzheimer's, and the care and love she has received have been truly exceptional. Every member of staff is kind, patient, and professional, treating Mum with dignity, warmth, and genuine affection. Even when she has been unwell, they've gone above and beyond with one-to-one care, compassion, and gentle reassurance, helping her recover and improve when we feared the worst. The home is bright, colourful, and always spotless, filled with laughter and kindness - a true home-from-home. Communication is excellent, and we're always kept updated about Mum's wellbeing, which gives our family real comfort and peace of mind. There are fantastic activities, visiting entertainers, and even animal therapy, with every occasion celebrated with joy, creativity, and togetherness. Meals are healthy and nutritious, the management are caring and organised, and we can visit anytime. Mum is safe, loved, and content, and we'll always be grateful

Kinmel lodge it s highly recommend, mum is well looked after. The staff are very professional at all times but kind and considerate, nothing is too much trouble, I am kept informed at all times about how mum is doing, by phone and email. The home provide plenty of activities which mum takes part in the. Mum settled in very well.

I am happy with the care my wife receives, I am extremely happy how the home prepared my wife's birthday for her and set up a lovely table and made us a lovely meal for her birthday dinner. Making myself and her feel very special. The home go above and beyond to help my wife. Very happy

I put my mum into this home, after she was unable to live on her own. I looked at quite a few, but after speaking to the manager then visiting the home to see the room for Mum, I was happy for her to go and be looked after. I can only say it was the right place for her, the staff are amazing and so caring and the communication is first class, they look after Mum like she is a queen, and they always contact me immediately if there are any problems. I cannot speak highly enough of the management and staff, and Mum is so happy there.

My mum recently spent some time in hospital and was quite poorly when discharged to Kinmel Lodge and her mobility was terrible. Management and staff put measures in place to ensure her safety and has since recovered really well. Management recently moved my mum to a different room to suit her needs, and she is so much better. This shows a caring and proactive attitude from the manager and the team towards residents. Staff are great with my mum and always friendly when I visit. Thank you.

Since my mother-in-law has gone into care at Kinmel Lodge she is happier than she has been for years. The care and support the staff give the residents and their visiting families is amazing. They really engage with the residents and have activities that keep them active on a daily basis. The atmosphere is so upbeat which really helps when you get to the stage of a close relative being in need of dementia care. Finding such a great place is a huge relief that we can be sure that our relative is getting the best care available.

All the staff - from the manager to the domestics work cohesively and professionally and all genuinely care about the residents. Before coming into Kinmel Lodge my mum could hardly walk and always used a Zimmer, now she walks with a stick and can easily walk a few miles! It could be the delicious meals, it could be the various activities and the person-centric care but ultimately my mum has a quality of life that we never thought possible. Thank you!

Can't believe how well Mum has been doing since staying at the home. She's happy, always laughing and doesn't stop eating! The staff all go above and beyond, making sure Mum's personal care is always done discreetly and maintaining Mum's dignity. Mum loves the food that the exceptional cooks provide every day, with a menu to rival any restaurant. She even eats salad, which she wouldn't eat before. The entertainment programme is amazing. Mum especially loves the singing on a Friday. I can honestly say that the home has given Mum a fulfilling life, with her dementia.
