Mum has been a resident of the Rookery since September 2025. They have gone above and beyond to welcome mum. She is very much loved and cared for by the staff. Senior staff continuously contact us with updates on mums health. The food is lovely, great menus, good wholesome cooking.

I cannot compliment highly, enough about the care afforded to my mother by the brilliant and caring staff. All the care and attention is generous and excellent. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are for such excellent care. Forever grateful.

The care home has recently been redecorated downstairs and the residents have a lovely lounge, bedrooms are lovely and it makes visiting a pleasant experience for them. Upstairs is very poor and in desperate need of the same care and upgrade. The residents pay the same amount of fees and are being
neglated of the same living conditions. Upstairs the residents have very little activities and stimulations to keep them happy + engaged. More could be done to change that.

The Rookery Care Home has been the best thing for my mother-in-law. The care is excellent! The food is good and tea is provided throughout the day. There are a lot of activities, which you can choose to take part or not.
My mother-in-law is happy and comfortable. I cannot thank the staff enough
for the care and warmth they provide daily.

The care of The Rookery is exemplary. The staff are kind, understanding and very aware of the residents needs. The home is beautifully presented and the catering is excellent. Thank you to all the team.

Amazing care facility. All staff are wonderful and caring. I feel confident that my nan is well looked after.

My mum has been moved from her home to 2 different warden controlled accommodation properties where mum struggled to look after herself and relied 90% on me. Since mum moved into The Rookery she is so happy and well cared for. I could not thank all the staff for what they do and the genuine love
they show my mum and all her fellow residents. Thank you to all of the staff for relieving the pressure on me and making mum smile.

My mother has been a resident of they Rookery for 2 and a half years. Myself and my sister can't thank all the staff enough they are amazing with my Mum and with all the family. She is very settled and relaxed and the care she receives is above and beyond. We regularly have reviews with them for
Mum and receive updates and invites to relatives meetings. They have lots of activities for the residents and Mum loves a good sing a long, we also attend some events which is great to spend time with all the residents, staff and families. Myself and my sister have also had a few meals with Mum at the care home and the food is lovely and always enjoy the atmosphere with other residents and the staff - compliments to all the staff highly recommend to anyone.
A BIG thank you from myself and my sister to all the team and Mum's carers, the support we have all received has been amazing.

I would recommend The Rookery to others. My mum has been in The Rookery for 15 years. She is compasmentis and is able to relate well. Her room is cleaned daily and food offered is to suit her needs ie: she has no teeth and is blind, so cut up + soft food + the kitchen provide regular alternatives to
daily menu as she cant chew + dislikes meat. I can phone + speak to her, they pass on messages, they respest her privacy when entry her room with eg: meds. I can convese with staff re her changing needs, they look to ways to adapt ie: different matters

My mum moved to The Rookery in May, and I cannot believe how quickly she settled in - due to the wonderful welcome the staff gave her. I can't speak highly enough of the brilliant way they are with mum. They are so kind, considerate, professional and helpful. Not only to mum, but all of our family.
The food always looks appetising and good. I feel really relaxed that mum is being well looked after.

I have found that the home is very welcoming. My sister seems very settled and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

I'm so glad that my mother is in The Rookery everything there is good she can stay in her room if she wants, also go to the lounge if she wishes the care she is receiving is excellent the staff are so nice and friendly.

My experience of The Rookery Care Home is soon as you walk in there the staff and carers are all very welcoming and greet you with a smile. They are all so lovely, kind, and very helpful. They can't do enough for you with anything. They all have a long, kind, gentle, caring way with the patients,
and it's lovely to see. When I visit my auntie she is always so happy. The Rookery Care Home is well decorated and clean. The food is lovely, and I have seen the patients always have plenty. It's a wonderful care home with a wonderful atmosphere. Plenty of activities for patients to do every day.

Excellent in every respect.
Staff are very pleasant.
Plenty of respect from staff at all times.

Overall, no issues, good care provided & very well looked after. It would be nice for upstairs to have some more activities. Staff are all lovely & caring.

My mother recently passed away at The Rookery - she chose to end her days there and not go into hospital. The staff were respectful to her and very kind to her family. I have no negative remarks to make just kind regards.
