My Mum recently spent a few weeks here for respite and I feel she received excellent care and support.
She was welcomed by all members of staff on arrival and staff took time to go through all our concerns with them. I was happy leaving her there as I felt confident all her needs were going to be
met.
During her stay, she had a few trips out and whenever I phoned staff liaised well with me.

We were delighted that my aunt has settled so well in the care home. The staff are so caring and efficient and were genuinely helpful and kind towards the residents. It is very reassuring for the families of the residents that the people are happy and settled in a very happy and caring environment.

This is my second visit and it was just as good as my last visit. The staff are very polite, conscientious, very caring.
The food excellent always well presented a different variety. The home itself is well presented just like being at home. There is a variety of activities for residents throughout
the week to do. Enjoyed the karaoke with the other residents. The care and support was excellent during my stay.

Found Arthur Jenkins very accommodating as I was struggling to find respite for my husband and as they don't normally do respite as it is residential, they were very kind in helping me out with this. I am very grateful to them for this.

We were welcomed on our first visit. The staff are all very friendly. We are amazed at the amount of activities that are organised, there is always something going on.
The place is always very clean, as is the person we visit.
We've visited a few care homes in the past but this is by far the best.

The care at Arthur Jenkins Home is absolutely excellent. The attention paid to all residents the variety of activities and excursions is unbelievable. All the residents are happy and very well cared for.
Staff are always helpful and willing to discuss any concerns and issues you raise.

Mam settled into Arthur Jenkins straight away. With their smiles, kindness and patience projected from the get-go.
The staff are amazing, constantly there on standby ready to help, if any falls/needs etc.
Daily activities are wonderful, from exercises, singing, singers, planting children drawings
and alpacas, “oh yes wowee” what a week she had.
The food she enjoyed and the whole experience was fabulous, she had a wonderful holiday. If you needed anything you only had to ask.
I gave 5 stars because I had a very happy mother to pick up and bring home.
Huge thank you to the manager and all your staff at Arthur Jenkins. See you next time.

My wife went firstly on respite care, her health has improved dramatically since arriving at the home to the result she now wants to become a permanent resident. The team and everyone at the care home are excellent. Thanks for all your superb care.

The staff at Arthur Jenkins Care Home were excellent and made Mum and I very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Mum stayed for 2 weeks of respite and enjoyed the activities and trip out. It was the most positive experience Mum has had of respite since her decreased mobility meant a loss of
independence. She was treated with warmth and consideration and I enjoyed peace of mind that she was well looked after.

A visit to Arthur Jenkins Care Home for the residents' Christmas party. It was a joyful occasion with particularly good catering and decorations. A great deal of care went into the arrangements.

A lovely, warm, caring environment. The staff really care! The limitations of the building and lack of en-suite facilities are the only negatives.

From the minute you walk in the door, the Arthur Jenkins home in Blaenavon is warm and welcoming. The manager and her fantastic team cannot do enough to help to make Mam, and all her visitors, feel comfortable and relaxed.
The home is now beautifully decorated for Christmas and there are loads of
Christmas-related activities going on.
It's always a pleasure to visit Mam there and even more wonderful to be able to share the experiences of all the activities on offer with her.
Mam is happy and content there and that gives us peace of mind. We feel comfortable asking questions and everyone goes out of their way to give us clear answers.
Fabulous teamwork and caring - everyone goes above and beyond!

Amazing staff, mostly locals. The cook catered for my Coeliac (gluten-free) brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble. Looked after well. The only downside, the room could have been warmer.

I live abroad so only get to visit once a year. I would describe the facility as excellent with the care that Mum received second to none. Interaction between staff and residents is great. Mum is happy which is all we could wish for. Please keep up the great work.

Lovely, friendly and caring home. Staff are always welcoming and make an effort to make both residents and visitors laugh.
There are always activities going on, multiple times per week.

Arthur Jenkins is a peaceful, caring home with an extremely clean environment. Staff are caring, professional and friendly. There are plenty of social activities for residents daily.
