Honestly so happy and relieved we found dad a place at Bridgeside Lodge, you can feel the difference as soon as you walk through the doors. The warmth of the staff, starting with Fatma who models human-centred care, to every single person caring for my dad.
My dad said to me "if I have to spend
the rest of my days here, I'll be happy".

This is a wonderful care home. We were just there for Christmas Day which so inclusive for everyone with lots of food! The staff are very kind and caring. Fatima the manager is a legend. I know my mother is well cared for and safe and she is happy there.

Absolutely charming Christmas celebration in the gorgeous corner room overlooking the canal. We watched the sky change colour over the water and had the accompaniment of three perfect kittens, wonderful companions to the residents. The staff as always were warm and welcoming and the logistics
impeccably executed. Everything we would want for our beloved aunt who is part of this special community. Thank you so much!

My mother is given the most extraordinary care at Bridgeside Lodge. The team are exceptional and Fatma is a wonder! We are so happy that my mother is so content. The live music has been especially impactful for my mother and the peaceful canalside location with ample outdoor space is a wonderful
gift.
Fatma is a thoughtful and mindful manager and carer but also incredibly meticulous in her work.

Ana has settled in very well at Bridgeside, considering the huge changes to people, scenery and routine. Carers do their best to keep Ana safe and acknowledged. The staff are all polite and professional. Especially Fatima and Hawa! The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The cleaning team do an
exceptional job. 'The Spitz' interactions and activities are second to none and the addition of kittens was a brilliant decision. Ana loves Oakley.

I have had a very positive experience with the Manager and all staff at Bridgeside Lodge during my brothers stay for 5 years. The Manager has always been a very approachable, friendly person and always remained professional in all areas. The staff have always shown empathy towards my brother and
cared for him in a professional manner getting to know him and protecting his dignity at all times. He loved the activities available especially the singing group. Words cant really express my gratitude to all involved in my brother's care and even after his death the Manager has been supportive.

My partner has lived Bridgeside Lodge for almost a year. It is a truly unique and OUTSTANDING Care Home. The Management Team go above and beyond looking after the Residents - they include friends and family members. It has truly become an extended family. I will be forever grateful for Bridgeside
Lodge and fought tooth and nail for my partner to stay there now his money has run out. I have been supported throughout this long battle. EXCELLENT and WONDERFUL Care Home. Thank you so much.

The manageress and staff were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout the process of seeing my partner into the home. Their supportive attitude made it possible for him feel welcomed and to settle in smoothly, and helped me although this stressful and difficult period. Despite his condition and
lack of awareness he remains cheerful and enjoys some activities especially the musicians visits and jazz style sing a longs.

The care home is very clean. The staff keep me informed of the progress of my mother. There are a lot of social activities and a lot of dignity is given to my mother's condition. The meals are well balanced.

Mum is really blessed to live here. She is always happy & comfortable when we visit. She gets on so well with the staff. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They organised a nice birthday lunch for mum, she was so happy. Mum's room is always fresh & clean & so is the whole home. It is nice to
sit in the lovely garden with Mum. She also enjoys the live music events. The management is very friendly & approachable.

My mum has been in BSL for many years in BSL first floor her carers and nurse are absolutely outstanding. Myself and all the my siblings are so relaxed knowing our mums being so well cared for. I highly recommend BSL and can not speak highly enough for all her care. The staff go above and beyond on
a daily basis. Mum attends daily activities and garden bbq's for all the family. 10/10 so very grateful.

My dad recently moved into Bridgeside Lodge after a tough few months, if not years, of an Alzheimers diagnosis, long hospitalisation with an infection and then a big move across the country. The comfort, security, belief and happiness we get from his care at Bridgeside is incomparable. He is treated
with respect and love, and as result has settled in quickly and happily. We (his family and friends) are also treated and looked after so well. We feel personally we consoled and supported with every interaction. Could not be happier.

Having been in at least three other care homes, I feel that I can make a valid comparison of Bridgeside Lodge to what else is available in the market. Bridgeside Lodge is hands-down the best home that I have experienced , the staff are professional and kind. They are also very caring and look after
all of my medical/comfort needs really really well.
The management of Bridgeside Lodge under the manager deserves special mention as she is a real team leader and instills a great sense of teamwork and family into the staff

My mother has been a resident here now for over a year and our family are very pleased with the way in which she has been cared for and made to feel like it is her home and not 'a home'. She arrived here in the worst of circumstances but the professionalism of the staff and the thorough nursing care
have transformed her physical ailments so that she is now comfortable and healing and has become very fond of her carers. We feel very lucky to have found a home like Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre and have no hesitation recommending it to anyone who has need of such care.

The manager and her team take such amazing, kind care of the residents. When I speak to family members they praise the staff without prompting. The residents are the centre of their world. This is a truly wonderful home and I love visiting it.

The manager and her team and Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre supported my mother over the course of twelve years following a hypoxic brain injury which led to paralysis from the neck down and extreme communication challenges. During an incredibly painful and traumatic time for my mother as well as us,
as a family, Bridgeside, from the very first moment, made us feel part of their family. Offering kindness, compassion, understanding and a shoulder to cry on. My mother had incredibly complex needs and Bridgeside Lodge staff were able to cater to them, not just from a duty-bound perspective but also from a place of genuine care and consideration. I speak on behalf of everyone in my family when I say that we are so grateful for the care my mother received whilst at Bridgeside and I thank each and every one of the staff who cared for my mother from the bottom of my heart. You are all angels.
