Welcome to Bridgeside Lodge Care Home in Islington. Situated by the beautiful Regent’s Canal, the luxurious modern gated property offers 24-hour care for those between the ages of 18 and 65. They provide specialist care for younger people with neurological and spinal conditions, and elderly people with or without Dementia. They are blessed with a long-serving team of carers, and partner therapists who deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a homely environment.

The purpose-built home comprises 64 single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy one of the home's visiting entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite films.

At Bridgeside Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of their activities take place within the home environment and include arts/crafts, quiz nights and musical evenings. In the summer, they host garden parties and barbecues on their riverside terrace. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and local park all within a short distance.

The home's professional catering team delivers nutritionally balanced meals that are appealing to residents. Their professional food suppliers specialise in delivering high-quality food designed specifically for the healthcare sector.

My partner has lived Bridgeside Lodge for almost a year. It is a truly unique and OUTSTANDING Care Home. The Management Team go above and beyond looking after the Residents - they include friends and family members. It has truly become an extended family. I will be forever grateful for Bridgeside Lodge
and fought tooth and nail for my partner to stay there now his money has run out. I have been supported throughout this long battle. EXCELLENT and WONDERFUL Care Home. Thank you so much.

The manageress and staff were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout the process of seeing my partner into the home. Their supportive attitude made it possible for him feel welcomed and to settle in smoothly, and helped me although this stressful and difficult period. Despite his condition and lack

Mum is really blessed to live here. She is always happy & comfortable when we visit. She gets on so well with the staff. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My mum has been in BSL for many years in BSL first floor her carers and nurse are absolutely outstanding. Myself and all the my siblings are so relaxed knowing our mums being so well cared for. I highly recommend BSL and can not speak highly enough for all her care. The staff go above and beyond on
a daily basis. Mum attends daily activities and garden bbq's for all the family. 10/10 so very grateful.

My dad recently moved into Bridgeside Lodge after a tough few months, if not years, of an Alzheimers diagnosis, long hospitalisation with an infection and then a big move across the country. The comfort, security, belief and happiness we get from his care at Bridgeside is incomparable. He is treated
with respect and love, and as result has settled in quickly and happily. We (his family and friends) are also treated and looked after so well. We feel personally we consoled and supported with every interaction. Could not be happier.

Having been in at least three other care homes, I feel that I can make a valid comparison of Bridgeside Lodge to what else is available in the market. Bridgeside Lodge is hands-down the best home that I have experienced , the staff are professional and kind. They are also very caring and look after
all of my medical/comfort needs really really well.
The management of Bridgeside Lodge under the manager deserves special mention as she is a real team leader and instills a great sense of teamwork and family into the staff

My mother has been a resident here now for over a year and our family are very pleased with the way in which she has been cared for and made to feel like it is her home and not 'a home'. She arrived here in the worst of circumstances but the professionalism of the staff and the thorough nursing care
have transformed her physical ailments so that she is now comfortable and healing and has become very fond of her carers. We feel very lucky to have found a home like Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre and have no hesitation recommending it to anyone who has need of such care.

The manager and her team and Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre supported my mother over the course of twelve years following a hypoxic brain injury which led to paralysis from the neck down and extreme communication challenges. During an incredibly painful and traumatic time for my mother as well as us,
as a family, Bridgeside, from the very first moment, made us feel part of their family. Offering kindness, compassion, understanding and a shoulder to cry on. My mother had incredibly complex needs and Bridgeside Lodge staff were able to cater to them, not just from a duty-bound perspective but also from a place of genuine care and consideration. I speak on behalf of everyone in my family when I say that we are so grateful for the care my mother received whilst at Bridgeside and I thank each and every one of the staff who cared for my mother from the bottom of my heart. You are all angels.

This is the best of the best! My mother is at the end of her life and the care and attention and affection she is receiving are really wonderful. I feel so good knowing that she is with everyone here. I cannot recommend Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre enough.
I am so sad about how things are in the UK,
how expensive care is and how the whole country treats their old people. They say you can tell a culture by how they treat their old and Britain is failing and the costs are ridiculous. Everything should be standard charges and there should be a national service to teach the young to work with the old for two years so that they have an understanding and an appreciation of what happens at the end of life.

I visit my friend's partner roughly every 5 to 8 weeks. I have noticed a marked progress in her condition, in particular, she is able to communicate and respond more in head movement and expressions. I can see she is so well cared for by everyone in the team and nothing is too much trouble for them.
They deliver a professional and exceptional level of care. The extracurricular activities promote the patients and their families, community spirit and family value. It is this holistic approach to her care that I feel contributed to her improvement.
