Forest Healthcare's vision is to transform the perception and experience of care from something driven out of necessity to something that represents a positive choice for improved quality of life.

Forest Healthcare provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for over 650 residents across South East England. Since opening their first home in 1994 they have grown and now employ over 1000 highly skilled workers whose primary role is to provide clients and families with the very best person-centred care available.

In addition to providing high quality 24-hour residential nursing care for elderly persons aged 65 to 100 years and over, they offer respite, postoperative care and crisis intervention services. Several of their facilities cater to younger clients aged 18 and above, including those suffering from neurological and spinal conditions. Other facilities offer more specialist care for conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, MS, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation and challenging behaviour.

As a group, Forest Healthcare runs 13 individual care centres in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, London and Norfolk. Their Centre Managers are all vastly experienced and have proven track records in the care industry. They are supported by a dedicated Operational Care Team, many of whom were former Centre Managers themselves.

Their primary objective is to improve the quality of life of the people they care for. They seek to promote independence, choice and dignity of the individual and believe that people must be safe and secure at all times, whilst providing a relaxed and stimulating environment that motivates them to live a full and happy life.

From the moment my sister and I visited the home we were treated so well.
My brother settled in nicely and was taken good care of by all the staff. Everyone was so kind to us.
The manager showed us around the home and told us of the improvements that were being done. The room had been recently decorated
and was so calming. The whole home had a warm feel to it.

We had so much trouble with my FIL suffering at other care homes before and since being transferred to Belmont lodge the change in his mood and overall health is not only visible but incredible and we are forever grateful to all the staff and managers who work here. Everytime we visit every single staff
member is welcoming with a smile and actually willing to help you with anything you ask. Both the residents and staff seem very happy here and it's a pleasure to see. The rooms are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness as are the communal areas, bathrooms and corridors. Bedrooms are warm and staff are attentive to each resident, not only checking in but actually going in and having a conversation with them. Food looks great and our dad is a picky eater but has been doing very well with nutrition since going there, again thanks to the staff who are so attentive and caring. We couldn't be more pleased with the care home, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard wor

Thank you so much for the care and attention which you provided for the celebration of my parents' 70th wedding anniversary, including a truly splendid buffet and drinks and glasses. The cake was indeed moist and decorated beautifully. You went to a great deal of trouble, which we very much appreciated
as a family. You made my parents' day one to remember. Thank you so much,

Pinehurst Care Centre

from J A (Daughter of Resident) published on 7 October 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our mother was a resident of Pinehurst Care Centre for nearly two years, until she passed away in August. She had lived with dementia for nearly nine years, struggling with part-time home care, then, following hospitalisation, a move to a care home which did not meet her needs.
The move to Pinehurst
was a breath of fresh air! It allowed Mum to be nearer family who could visit her frequently and to live a calmer life. The Pinehurst team, from managers to carers to maintenance, welcomed, supported, cared for and respected Mum. They were professional, patient and kind. They all new her name, they all knew her family members. They were attentive to her personal hygiene, social interaction and stimulation at her own pace, her diet and medical needs.
Emilia, Vicki and Cliff were hugely supportive and understanding during Mum's final weeks, her hospitalisation and her return to familiar "homely" surroundings at Pinehurst on palliative care.
We are very grateful.

Lovely staff - friendly, kind and efficient.

Recent improvements to the communal areas have made Ash Court a much more comfortable and attractive environment.

The manager is a very cheerful, helpful and effective leader.

My mum receives excellent care. She is safe and well looked after, and

it has been a great weight off my mind to know she is in good hands.

A word of thanks to Moise (I hope I've spelled his name correctly) who makes mum laugh - it's a real pleasure to see him work with such good humour and warmth.

I moved my mother to Warren Lodge from a care home in Devon where she had been placed by the local authority, because I was not happy with the care being provided there. The move to Warren Lodge was a transformative experience. She was very well cared for by the staff of Warren Lodge who were also always
very welcoming of me and other family members who visited my mother. The philosophy of Warren Lodge is to prioritise the needs of the residents, ensuring they are treated sensitively and with respect. In my experience, Warren Lodge delivered on these principles throughout the time that my mother was there. The staff group is stable and well led, the key ingredients for good quality care. The staff knew my mother well, and were very understanding of her needs. We got to know them well too. I and my family were extremely pleased and satisfied with the care given to my mother.

I have had a very positive experience with the Manager and all staff at Bridgeside Lodge during my brothers stay for 5 years. The Manager has always been a very approachable, friendly person and always remained professional in all areas. The staff have always shown empathy towards my brother and cared
for him in a professional manner getting to know him and protecting his dignity at all times. He loved the activities available especially the singing group. Words cant really express my gratitude to all involved in my brother's care and even after his death the Manager has been supportive.
A big thank you.
