I cannot thank the Manager at Pinehurst Care Home enough. Mum had been admitted to hospital with dementia & delirium and was unable to return home. He came out on a Saturday night to assess Mum. A room became available shortly after. The staff have all been wonderful at all times. Caring, compassionate, interested, pro-active. The home is clean, and has a lovely homely feel to it. We have been made very welcome every time we have visited and there is a fab vibe to Pinehurst.

I have been calling in the care home for one week, since my wife was admitted. I have always found the management and staff cheerful & helpful, the care home clean and of a good standard of care towards the patients.

I am very happy with Woodlands Park and the care being provided.

I could literally write a book instead of this review of "positive experiences," from my 1st phone call, then the visit(s), then my Mum's (My Queen) move to Warren Lodge (WL).

From Goce (Care Home Mgr) to the backroom staff and the carers themselves have been professional and caring from day 1, with real empathy and dignity to both myself and my Mum and with such positivity and happiness.

The advice/guideance from my 1st contact, and the two-way communication ongoing for both my Mum and "me" with all the WL team, has been fantastic, being honest about the "bumps in the road ahead" and managing expectations of such a delicate, precious situation when moving your 97-year-old Mum into a care home. I just couldn't be happier.

It is no surprise that many of the staff at Warren Lodge are long-term employees

My mother's has been at The Poplars for three weeks and she is very happy here. I find the nurses and all of the staff very helpful indeed and always a smiley vibe here. Mum's room is bright and airy and is always kept very clean by the staff The staff are always willing to speak to you and nothing ever seems too much trouble for them even after such long shifts that they work here

My mother is very well cared for at Woodlands Park and I appreciate the regular updates on her health. The staff are wonderful and do an amazing job. The recent redecorating has made the environment much better and building feels much lighter and modern.

My elderly father was in Pinehurst for respite care before returning home after being in hospital for 7 weeks. Cliff and his team where outstanding and special thanks to Emily for her kindness and outstanding care she gave my father. If I had to look for a care home for my elderly parents again Pinehurst would be my first choice. Colin August 2026.

I am so grateful for the outstanding care my mother has received at this care home. The staff have been consistently kind, attentive, and respectful, creating an atmosphere where she feels safe and valued. Marie, the care home manager, has been truly wonderful. Her professionalism and compassion have made a real difference to our family. Even when funding ended after the sale of her bungalow, the team continued to support her with the same dedication. I can't thank them enough for the stability and dignity they've provided. It means the world to me.

From our very first contact, the manger of Pinehurst Care home, made what was a difficult time so much easier. He met my sister and me the same day and went straight to the hospital to assess Mum. He was lovely with her and immediately put us at ease. Mum has settled really well at Pinehurst. The staff are friendly, caring and chatty, and there is a genuinely happy atmosphere. Moving Mum into care was a difficult decision, but knowing she is happy and well cared for has been incredibly reassuring. We are very grateful to the manager and all the staff. Thankyou.

I cannot thank everyone at Warren Lodge enough for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to my mum, Irina, during the last two years of her life. Although she did not speak English, the staff always found ways to communicate with her, support her in her own language whenever possible, and make her feel safe, respected, and at home. Their patience and warmth meant so much to our family. Special thanks to the manager, Goce, whose leadership created such a caring and professional environment. The home was always clean, welcoming, and filled with genuine compassion. Knowing my mum spent her final years surrounded by such dedicated people brings us great comfort. We will always be grateful to everyone at Warren Lodge for treating Irina with dignity, kindness, and respect. I wholeheartedly recommend Warren Lodge to anyone seeking outstanding care.

After spending 7 weeks in Hospital my husband Alan came to Pinehurst for Respite care. The care he has been given has been very very good and given with kindness and understanding.

My father was admitted to Ash Court Care Home in November 2024. He was admitted directly from the Hospital because he could not return home due to his continos falling & not taking his Medication, as a family we did not think he would live until Christmas 2024. I am very pleased to say that he did live to see that Christmas & Christmas 2025, he has not looked better in many years until he came to Ash Court, if it wasn't for their excellent care, compassion and dedication we would not have had him here to love and enjoy.

It was a lovely time in the care home plenty of do to keep me ok.

The staff were kind and attentive throughout our loved one's time at Poplars.

I would like to impres anybody that I am very happy here everything is very kind and helpfull.

It is evident that the team works incredibly hard to create a safe, caring and engaging environment where residents are treated like family.

My Father was only there less than a month on Palliative care. The Day team were on it with his care and were very sincere too. My only concern was at night as some of the agency staff didn't understand the English language which I think needs addressing, coms is essential with a Patient. Other than that, I was very happy with his care.
