My father was admitted to Ash Court Care Home in November 2024. He was admitted directly from the Hospital because he could not return home due to his continos falling & not taking his Medication, as a family we did not think he would live until Christmas 2024. I am very pleased to say that he did live to see that Christmas & Christmas 2025, he has not looked better in many years until he came to Ash Court, if it wasn't for their excellent care, compassion and dedication we would not have had him here to love and enjoy.

As someone who has written reviews of this wonderful home before now, I feel a need to publicly document my dismay at the recent CQC report. The findings of the report do not reflect the reality of this gorgeous home, which I have witnessed since it's amazing transformation in 2022 when the new manager took over. My father has been at this home since 2011 so I have seen the incredible journey that Ash Court has made in recent years. This home is just not recognisable from the way it used to be. It is inviting, friendly, incredibly loving, utterly professional and led by an exceptional home manager who works tirelessly, is present on the floor and very quick to respond to concerns. I would say to anyone reading this, if you are looking for a care home with the highest standard of care, please don't let this CQC report put you off. The reality is far from the CQC inspection, which I find punitive and disproprtionate. My father continues to thrive at Ash Court. I'm so grateful to them.

When dad first joined Ash Court Care Home I had my reservations as his last visit to a care home a year ago in whetstone wasn't so great. We managed to keep him at his home with carers but he has got to the stage where be needs 24 hr support and I genuinely could not be happier than we are for him to have been placed in such a wonderful care home. The staff are so lovely and friendly and any questions we may have they are on the ball immediately. He is always clean, shaven and the home is so well looked after. I think all the staff and Priscilla do a fantastic job and we are very grateful. Thank you so much.

Since my grandad has been staying at Ash Court Care Home the care he has received is amazing, I really can't fault it. I was very worried when he first arrived if he would settle and manage well but I can honestly say that all the staff and management have been so helpful with grandad and communicate really well between myself and my mother. We are very fortunate that grandad has found ash court care home and the team of staff he has taking care of him. All I can do is thank everyone for all that they do!

A very caring establishment. The Cedars staff are dedicated and attentive to the individual needs of all residents. The food is excellent and entertainment is of a high standard.

My name is Beryl and I live at St Annes, I have my own room and all meals are served and my room is cleaned. I'm very happy and everyone is very nice. I go out on lots of outings and I want to stay here forever.

My husband was very unsettled before he came here, but very quickly he was made by staff very comfortable and safe. Nursing staff saw to his needs which are many and now he is as happy as he can be and we feel he is in safe and caring hands.

Mother is looked after well by all the staff.

My father has been a resident of The Cedars Care Home for approx a year. We are extremely happy with the care he receives, the staff are attentive, caring and engaging with the residents. All staff go above and beyond, they know exactly my father's likes and dislikes and are very good when he can become difficult due to dementia. He has greatly improved physically and is more alert and communicative since being here. There are always fun activities for him to be involved in.

The staff go over and above to include her in everything and if she gets distressed they are always there to talk to her and comfort her.

My father has been a resident at Cedars Care Centre for 12 months. The care and support that he gets is absolutely brilliant. The nurses and the carers are all so kind and caring. Nothing is a problem for them! Everyday there is some kind of entertainment for the residents - a quiz or some live music or chair exercises. Dad enjoys the monthly trips out to various places - a museum or the park for a coffee. The outdoor facilities are very good and beautifully kept. My dad is so well looked after but I also feel that we, his family, are so well cared for.

I cannot praise Cedars Care Home enough for the care they give to my husband. The manager and staff are brilliant, attentive and caring and it is very comforting to know he is in the very best hands.
