when I arrived here I was really poorly within a Week or so I started to improve. I was eating better, I started to join in the activities after a couple of weeks Also the staff and the residents made me feel welcome. The staffs are caring and I like to have a good laugh with them. The care; Making sure i'm clean, is good.

Having received excellent care at a hospice in Oxford, the care and health team decided that mum's needs would be better met at a nursing home. Having found The Grange we can honestly say they made a really good decision! Since mum has moved into The Grange, her emotional and mental health has improved considerably. She is often smiling, having a joke or a chat to the staff or residents. She has taken part in fun activities, and especially likes the food ones! Talking of food her appetite has also improved enormously. Thank you The Grange team you are amazing and all her family and friends are very grateful.

I love visiting my friend here. The staff are amazing, caring, friendly, always welcoming. The atmosphere is warm radiating happiness, all effort is made to keep the residents occupied and happy. Everybody is included. The care is top notch - every request is met with kindness and appropriate action. Thank you to everybody.

My time at the Grange so far has been good so far.

Mum has been a resident of The Grange for nearly 6 years & it has been the best decision in terms of her dementia care. It was a difficult decision to move her to a care home & the 1st home she was in was very poor. We had to move her during COVID & The Grange were exceptional in the help & support they gave with the transfer & the transition to new surroundings. Since then, her care has been excellent, we are always kept informed & Mum is very content, even with her health deteriorating. The nursing team are very experienced & all the care team treat Mum with respect & dignity. The Grange may not suit everyone, however it is a home rather than than a hotel & for our Mum that is what she would want. I would highly recommend visiting & speaking to all the team if you are considering care for a loved one.

I cannot praise the staff at The Grange Stanford (who have been looking after my mum for the last 8 months) enough, they are so kind, caring, compassionate, friendly making her feel safe. The food is really nice plenty of choice and good portions. They have given my husband and myself peace of mind that she is cared for so well.

All staff give their support to all residents and under some difficult situations and I mean all staff from all areas

The carers, nurses, and everyone on the floor are amazing! 5* without these people it wouldnt work so well, they all really care .

First impressions of The Grange may frankly not be the best: no plush reception area with hairdressing salon; no wide expanse of expensive carpet. Newer, bespoke care homes will often boast higher levels of facilities. However, the level of personal care that The Grange provided would be extremely hard to match. This is a nursing home where everyone cares. What was important for my aunt and me was the quality of the medical/care support she received and how she was treated. She had wanted to stay at home till the end, but after less than a week she asked me to "sell my home and let me stay here!" The carers and the nursing staff were all exceptional. Always popping a head round the door, always a cheerful word. There are qualified nurses on hand 24/7, sometimes three at a time, and they are experienced and kind. My aunt loved both the male and female carers and everyone from manager to the service staff were wonderful to deal with. I recommend The Grange for kind, professional care.

It is comfortable and well run. The staff are friendly and caring, nothing is too much trouble. I would personally recommend The Grange after living here for eighteen months.

All the staff are always extreemly friendly and helpful, they take great care of the residents, and are always quick to help sort out any issues. They always keep you well informed on problems the resident might have for health or comfort. All the staff deal with the residents with great kindness and consideration but still retaining profesionalism and high standards. (A team you can be proud of)

All the staff were wonderful during her end of life care. We were so grateful to have been able to secure a room there for mums end of life care.

The kindness, professionalism and support of the whole team has meant that my uncles stay has been a wonderful experience. He has enjoyed all aspects of his stay and this has reassured us greatly as a family. I would highly recommend the Grange to others.

I have had a wonderful experience with this care home. The nurses and all staff are consistently kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond and are always ready to assist with any need. I highly recommend The Grange to anyone seeking compassionate care.

Which you don't find everywhere.

My mum was a resident for almost four years and during that time all the staff at the home have always been caring and compassionate, supportive and truly gave us peace of mind knowing Mum was always in good hands, safe and looked after. The nursing and care staff were always amazing especially when Mum’s health deteriorated keeping us fully informed and not only caring for Mum but being there for us as well. They always made Mum look well presented even when she became unable to do this herself. Making sure she had the food she loved. Always letting her have chocolate which was her favourite even though she would get in a mess and would need help to get cleaned up. Nothing was ever too much trouble Mum’s welfare was always put first.

My brother was admitted to The Grange Care Centre just before Christmas 2023. I was unsure whether he would like it there as he had been living on his own for several years, and was not used to being around lots of people. However, the management and staff did everything they could to make him feel welcome. My brother is now very happy at The Grange, due mainly to the patience and compassion of the management and staff.

My mum has been a resident at the nursing home for about 18 months. She has Parkinson's and is 94 years old. She is very well looked after, and all the nurses and carers are so wonderful with her, and the whole family. They take an interest in how she is now, but also what she was like as a younger woman. They get to know the family and are caring towards us too. I couldn't recommend the home enough.
