We had so much trouble with my FIL suffering at other care homes before and since being transferred to Belmont lodge the change in his mood and overall health is not only visible but incredible and we are forever grateful to all the staff and managers who work here. Everytime we visit every single staff
member is welcoming with a smile and actually willing to help you with anything you ask. Both the residents and staff seem very happy here and it's a pleasure to see. The rooms are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness as are the communal areas, bathrooms and corridors. Bedrooms are warm and staff are attentive to each resident, not only checking in but actually going in and having a conversation with them. Food looks great and our dad is a picky eater but has been doing very well with nutrition since going there, again thanks to the staff who are so attentive and caring. We couldn't be more pleased with the care home, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard wor

Dad has been at Belmont Lodge for about 6 weeks and the care & support he has received is amazing. They helped him settle in and now he calls it "home". Every member of staff are so kind, patient and caring and go far beyond anything we expected.
The whole family can not thank everone enough for keeping
Dad safe, well fed and entertained.

I have enjoyed my short stay at Belmont Care Home. Lovely staff, helpful and pleasant - and hard - working. I have met interesting people among the residents. I feel my recovery has been helped considerably by the care. Catering was extremely varied and enjoyable.

My father was assessed to be admitted to Belmont , the assessment was very quick and efficient and was accepted into the care home , the home was very welcoming , clean has good facilities , the courtyard is accessible and is beautiful especially just to have a bit of outside space , even though my
fathers needs have changed and will not be moving in , we want to thank Belmont Lodge for how welcoming they are and how they made us feel in

The majority of the staff at Belmont Lodge are brilliant. Unfortunately the care home is run down, has a strong smell of urine and is lacking general upkeep. You are made to feel unwelcome while visiting your family member, visiting stops at 4pm meaning its very difficult to go after work as you are
refused at the door. Overall the care is good but the care home itself is in need of a serious upgrade, there isn't anywhere for you to sit privately with your family member and Unfortunately have to be huddled up in their room. The bedrooms are dated as are the bathrooms - very basic living space. Carpets are dirty as is the floor, which in some places is held down with tape. The garden again is need of some TLC. I would recommend this care home based on some of the staff members but not for the facility itself.

Happy, friendly staff make happy residents.
Treated with dignity, good food, always clean.
Back in August, Dad came home directly from the hospital. With great care, he has improved within two weeks - walking and eating. Now chest infection and falling out of bed, he is being helped to recover again.
Great patience and caring staff.

My Dad was in Belmont Lodge for a short time when he needed 24-hour care and Belmont staff were the very best we could have asked for. Not just caring but loving him as we did. Huge praise for every member of staff, we cannot praise this care home enough. Thank you, Belmont!

My dad was giving up, just sitting in hospital. Bit since he has come to Belmont Lodge Care Centre, he is a changed man, so happy now and all the staff are so good with him, nothing is too much for them. Couldn't think of a better home for him to be in.
