Welcome to Belmont Lodge Care Centre in Chigwell, Essex. Situated at the heart of a thriving community, Belmont Lodge offers 24-hour care for those over the age of 65. The home's highly-trained carers and visiting therapies team provide high quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. While specialising in Dementia care, they offer long-term, respite and post-operative care.

The home comprises 40 light and airy bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, and 5 relaxing day rooms. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the home's guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite film.

At Belmont Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art workshops, handicrafts, flower arranging and musical evenings. In the warmer weather, they make use of their therapeutic garden environment by enjoying garden parties and barbecues. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Their residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and local park all within a short distance.

My cousin is comfortable and enjoys the fantastic staff looking after him. He loves the music and entainment. It a wonderful care home. Belmont Lodge is a home for love and care for any residents.

My father was assessed to be admitted to Belmont , the assessment was very quick and efficient and was accepted into the care home , the home was very welcoming , clean has good facilities , the courtyard is accessible and is beautiful especially just to have a bit of outside space , even though my

The majority of the staff at Belmont Lodge are brilliant. Unfortunately the care home is run down, has a strong smell of urine and is lacking general upkeep. You are made to feel unwelcome while visiting your family member, visiting stops at 4pm meaning its very difficult to go after work as you are
refused at the door. Overall the care is good but the care home itself is in need of a serious upgrade, there isn't anywhere for you to sit privately with your family member and Unfortunately have to be huddled up in their room. The bedrooms are dated as are the bathrooms - very basic living space. Carpets are dirty as is the floor, which in some places is held down with tape. The garden again is need of some TLC. I would recommend this care home based on some of the staff members but not for the facility itself.

Happy, friendly staff make happy residents.
Treated with dignity, good food, always clean.
Back in August, Dad came home directly from the hospital. With great care, he has improved within two weeks - walking and eating. Now chest infection and falling out of bed, he is being helped to recover again.
Great patience and caring staff.

My Dad was in Belmont Lodge for a short time when he needed 24-hour care and Belmont staff were the very best we could have asked for. Not just caring but loving him as we did. Huge praise for every member of staff, we cannot praise this care home enough. Thank you, Belmont!

My dad was giving up, just sitting in hospital. Bit since he has come to Belmont Lodge Care Centre, he is a changed man, so happy now and all the staff are so good with him, nothing is too much for them. Couldn't think of a better home for him to be in.
