Welcome to Belmont Lodge Care Centre in Chigwell, Essex. Situated at the heart of a thriving community, Belmont Lodge offers 24-hour care for those over the age of 65. The home's highly-trained carers and visiting therapies team provide high quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. While specialising in Dementia care, they offer long-term, respite and post-operative care.

The home comprises 40 light and airy bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, and 5 relaxing day rooms. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the home's guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite film.

At Belmont Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art workshops, handicrafts, flower arranging and musical evenings. In the warmer weather, they make use of their therapeutic garden environment by enjoying garden parties and barbecues. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Their residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and local park all within a short distance.

To the activities coordinator, I am writing this to you with thanks for your efforts to entertain the people who are staying at Belmont Lodge, Chigwell whilst they slowly recover from different illnesses. Your efforts to give residents so much comfort and enjoyment by all your kindness and patience

My friend has been at Belmont Lodge since October 2014. She is always well looked after. Belmont is a home from home for all the residents. We are always made to feel very welcome.

I find it very hard to write about how I feel about my husband living in Belmont Lodge.
I never thought we would live apart until one of us died, but now he lives in care and I can see he is being looked after with kindness and care.
I must say I feel much better that I ever thought I would, so thank
you all at Belmont Lodge for taking care of my husband for me, God bless you all. Many thanks.

Nice clean home for my dad. Friendly staff who are always willing to help and always make our family welcome. Dad is happy as he can be and the food that is provided always looks lovely - lots of variety. I have trust in the care home that they will care for him and meet his needs.

My aunt has been in Belmont Since April 2016. I feel grateful she is safe, well fed, clean and treated lovingly by an incredibly kind staff. I visit very regularly and have never witnessed anything remotely worrying. Belmont's main quality is it's friendly, warm atmosphere.
