The home comprises 40 light and airy bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, and 5 relaxing day rooms. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the home's guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite film.
At Belmont Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art workshops, handicrafts, flower arranging and musical evenings. In the warmer weather, they make use of their therapeutic garden environment by enjoying garden parties and barbecues. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. Our uncle came to Belmont Lodge for two weeks of respite care following an operation. He recovered well and felt supported by the kind and attentive staff. He has limited communication following a stroke, but one week at Belmont Lodge led to an immediate improvement in his speech.

Now coming out of Covid, I was very assured and happy that Mum was and still is cared for. She's been in Belmont for 7-years, and we have been kept up to date with her wellbeing. The staff, I can only praise for their dedication and respect they have for my mum and family
