Staff always friendly and welcoming. Problems are listened to and addressed. Good activity program 7 days a week.

I am very impressed with how the home has looked after my mother. I could not ask for a better care home.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for the wonderful care of nan we are always kept well informed of anything that happens and the Facebook page is fantastic to see nan joining in activities. Keep up the great work all of you.

The only negative is sometimes the lack of communication between staff members, otherwise, we're truly happy with mums care.

I would like to say there has been a huge improvement in recent months. I have been informed about my Mother being resident of the day on a regular basis. She has been involved in activities and I have seen proof of this in the Facebook page and we have been sent regular updates of what she has been doing through email. I have been able to whatsapp my Mum and this was made possible by willing staff. Thank you very much! I am now also able to visit inside after a Covid-19 test. She has been dressed well and hair kept tidy in spite of no hairdresser during these Covid-19 times. I have been informed by staff if there has been any physical or medical problem with my Mum, as soon as possible after it has occurred. My Mother was moved to a downstairs room after I mentioned it may be a lot easier for her with her condition and I believe she has settled well into her new room and likes it very much. As soon as a problem with her diet was discovered, this was quickly changed to suit her needs.

The staff here are excellent, thanks to one person for sweets. Very obliging. They have helped me a lot with their kindness. Thank you all.

I have always found the entire staff extremely helpful and friendly. I have been visiting for the last seven years and have always been welcomed.

My grandmother, who is 99 years old, has been a resident at Belmont Lodge for six years. Nan, in my opinion, has always been well looked after. Staff have been caring and professional. It is hard to write a review this year as I have not had proper contact or been in Belmont Lodge due to Covid. I will judge on past experience of the years Nan has been a resident. Our family have been kept well informed and Belmont Lodge have been accommodating to my mum (Nan's only child) so she can have some form of contact with her.

Living overseas and having my dad in care adds a level of worry, but the attention that he receives at Belmont Lodge is exceptional. I know he is well looked after and that the team there go the extra mile to make his day brighter. He was very confused when he arrived there 18 months ago, often aggressive and with his physical and mental health failing quite badly. With their team approach, Dad is now calm and safe. Thank you for looking after my dad so very well.

My Nan was a resident for many years at Belmont Lodge, one of the longest at the time. My family and I were thoroughly impressed with the Care my Nan received whilst residing there. We continue to have a relationship with the staff that took care of her and we will continue to thank them for their amazing service.

The staff are caring, kind and friendly always there to help.

Whilst the home is not the most modern facility, it certainly ticked all the boxes for being personal, approachable and caring when I viewed it over 5 years ago and that opinion still holds even with the challenging circumstances of Covid-19.

They have done a great job during this difficult time ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents.

Mum has been taken care of very well especially during this Covid period it is comforting to know she is being looked after.

I speak for my 2 brothers regarding our mother's care. We are very pleased with the care she receives. I get regular phone calls updating any concerns that they might have. Any complaints that we have raised have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Dad has been a resident for several years now and I honestly say the care and compassion he has received in that time is of an excellent standard. Having dementia has its tricky moments but the staff are extremely well trained in this field. My dad is happy, well-fed and looked after exceptionally well. All the staff do a brilliant job and they go out of their way to make the residents and relatives happy and at ease. I would highly recommend Belmont Lodge to anyone considering a care home for their relative, it has a friendly and caring environment. The staff are very professional and caring. My dad is so happy here and loves the activities they do on a regular basis, he also enjoys the facilities and being in the well-maintained garden. Thank you, Belmont Lodge, for looking after my dad, it’s such a huge relief to know he’s being cared for in a happy and safe environment.

Not able to give a proper review as not allowed in since Lockdown in March, but before the Lockdown lovely friendly staff and excellent results no Covid.

Looking forward to being able to go into the home - visiting room is being prepared at present.
