Welcome to Belmont Lodge Care Centre in Chigwell, Essex. Situated at the heart of a thriving community, Belmont Lodge offers 24-hour care for those over the age of 65. The home's highly-trained carers and visiting therapies team provide high quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. While specialising in Dementia care, they offer long-term, respite and post-operative care.

The home comprises 40 light and airy bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, and 5 relaxing day rooms. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the home's guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite film.

At Belmont Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art workshops, handicrafts, flower arranging and musical evenings. In the warmer weather, they make use of their therapeutic garden environment by enjoying garden parties and barbecues. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Their residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and local park all within a short distance.

The house is just amazing. Very clean and alls staff are very friendly and attentive to the resident's needs. The range of activities is just great and catered to everyone.
I feel it's a safe place for my relative to live in. I know she will be treated with dignity and respect and will be happy.

Belmont Lodge was the first care home I wanted to visit, as it is close to me and I was so impressed by the tour we were given, while my mum was in hospital, my wife and I were happy to transfer her here after she was discharged. Putting a parent into a care home was a very difficult, but vital, thing
to do. However, the care required for my mum had risen to a level my wife and I could no longer cope with. Since that time, all levels of staff at Belmont Lodge have been nothing but helpful, professional and approachable at all times, so my mum's care is assured.

This is my 3rd visit to Belmont Lodge, I really enjoy my stay here. They are very kind and friendly and there is plenty to do. I really enjoyed going to the seaside on a day trip which was excellent. Thank you everyone you are all very kind.

When visiting, I have found all staff to be caring and thoughtful. The rooms and all areas are very clean, good feel, and are very welcoming. We have enjoyed a wonderful celebration of our Queens Jubilee. The staff arranged it all, resident's family and friends had a great time, with good food and entertainment.

Our uncle came to Belmont Lodge for two weeks of respite care following an operation. He recovered well and felt supported by the kind and attentive staff. He has limited communication following a stroke, but one week at Belmont Lodge led to an immediate improvement in his speech.
