Welcome to Belmont Lodge Care Centre in Chigwell, Essex. Situated at the heart of a thriving community, Belmont Lodge offers 24-hour care for those over the age of 65. The home's highly-trained carers and visiting therapies team provide high quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. While specialising in Dementia care, they offer long-term, respite and post-operative care.

The home comprises 40 light and airy bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, and 5 relaxing day rooms. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the home's guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite film.

At Belmont Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art workshops, handicrafts, flower arranging and musical evenings. In the warmer weather, they make use of their therapeutic garden environment by enjoying garden parties and barbecues. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Their residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and local park all within a short distance.

Belmont Lodge is a warm and welcoming home. The dedicated staff are always friendly and helpful and the care and support they give to the residents is heartwarming.
There are endless activities and family-orientated events to keep the residents active, stimulated and involved. My auntie is so happy

Belmont Lodge is a very welcoming and happy care centre. The staff made every effort to support my mum and make her feel special. The activities have kept her engaged and stimulated and her personal interests and hobbies have been encouraged. She loves crocheting and baking!

kind and caring and often support her during difficult days. Their social media page has been a great comfort as a daily update keeps me assured that my mum is happy and involved with others and slowly making friends and forming relationships.

We had luck with Mum staying here for 5 months of respite. We have had the most amazing experience and if I ever got to choose a place for myself, this is it. It's a big family who loves to laugh, sing and make the stay the most pleasurable time. Who would have thought this is a care home, it's a home

The care and attention to my aunt has been given without exception. The staff are amazing, fantastic idea to have activities to keep the mind and body going. My aunt has been so happy here and come on leaps and bounds since arriving, so much so we can now take her home. This is by far one of the best

The staff created an amazing Christmas market for us, I even won a prize (a cream to use on my face in the raffle). I also got two prizes, they were hedgehogs which I gave on to the organiser's son and one to the nurse who gives my tablets. It was a lovely time and can I thank all who organised it.
